Thank you for this! I figured you would get forced out of the den but i was curious about how bad the other side effects would be, and i didnt really aant to try this myself so again, thanks
The game tells you that you’ll be forced to move if you’re at 100% though??? Also, yes higher fleas causes more itching, no it does NOT cause sickness. Maybe it makes the pups more likely to sleep outside I’m not sure??
@@adventurewolf1779 wait no my comment sounds rude I’m sorry 😭 I understood that from the video, I wasn’t sure if that was a coincidence or if it’s in the AI for pups to leave the den more when fleas increase. I commented as I was watching the video so I was confused why you’d have to make a video on this if the game already tells you what happens at 100% but I should’ve watched the whole thing first mb Again I’m rlly sorry great video! :)
The fleas are one of the most annoying things in this game. Especially since my current mate has been making it 100 times worse. I will literally tell her over and over to stay at the den with the pups while I go hunt or mark (bc she never does it herself), but instead she just woofs the pups into their den and tries to join me. Sometimes she’ll do it when I’m halfway across the map so I won’t even realize it until she shows up. It’s made me have to leave my absolute favorite den in Slough Creek.
Lol on my first run I almost found out what happens, they got to 15 pounds faster than the fleas got to 100%, but it was close. Think it was in the 88-98 range. I was too scared to leave the den at that point incase it would kick me out the den while I was away, didn’t want them loose in the wilderness. I can’t remember why I didn’t move before then, might’ve just wanted to see if I could go the whole time without moving dens, was too scared to move dens incase of danger or a mix of both
Brand new player here. Can't speak for the different levels, but I have done a few games on easy now. Had 3 litters of 6 pups. First one gave me so much stress, moving to another den when fleas got to be too much. But then, starting from the second litter, I went nomad. It's honestly great. I just leave the den when pups are between 6 and 7 pounds, we move to a good spot with some tall grass, preferably near beaver trails for easier access to food. If any predators come near, the pups hide in the grass. No flea issues at all. Been raising all my litters without any problems like that. And sick pups don't ever die on easy. It just drops to 10% health and then gets better. Really love the game.
I got 100% fleas while being attacked by a wolf half way across the map
XDD I have never gotten 100% so today was the first …

You can’t really leave your mate alone with your pups outside unless you’re willing to lose a few

I do the same, at more or less 20% I leave.
I prefer a clean den so always ensure the next den is waiting.
