Nice Video Glenn. Reinforcing the basics is so important. Some people can get carried away too much with the fancy stuff. Learning to get your jab hand back each time creates good muscle memory👍
Great Job Glenn. Im a couple of towns down from your stomping ground, Im a Bury lad. I heard your call on the james whales shown talk radio few weeks ago thought it was great what you was doing out there. All credit to you for following your dreams mate. Im a big boxing fan as well so watching ypur videos on UA-cam. My son is 13yrs old and a keen boxer at our local ABA boxing gym, ive been using some of your basic pad routines with him on our local park so thanks for that. All the best good luck. 👍🏻 👊🏻
class mate, that’s mad you saw me on James’s show, i’m going to be back on soon, all the best with your lad, that’s exciting mate, thx for the feedback 👊🏻
@@GlennHolmesLA Thanks Glenn, it is exciting. keep releasing those amazing training videos mate I'll keep watching, learning, sharing. All the best mate 👍🏻
This is a really helpful video on the basics of a jab, especially point #2. My new coach had been helping me with not telegraphing my jab by pivoting my lead foot, or twisting my foot too much. It just seems to lose so much power without that but, what you say about being able to follow it up easier and use it for a quick range finder is what he says too.
sorry about that mate, thanks for the tips, but good job i’m not fighting isn’t it, also, if you look at the title of the video you might notice it’s focused on tips for the jab, not defense , thanks for watching 👊🏻

💥
thx mate 👊🏻
thank you mate
I think practicing a single jab will get you better at single jabs, and practicing a triple jab will get you better at triple jabs.
correct, just in general the more you practice that punch and the variations of it, the stronger that punch will be
@@GlennHolmesLA yeah 100% mate. 💪
👍👏🙏
thx Paul mate, hope this vid helped a bit
