Its not vav, but wav. Wav doesn't make v sound, but w sound.

As explained in the video, this is standard pronunciation not classical. I don’t teach classical pronunciation because virtually no one uses it. Also if you’re going to pronounce it as a ‘w’ sound then it’s waw not wav.
