Metroid Prime was a remaster, they only changed the controls and improved the graphics, nothing else, same weapons, story, gameplay etc. And it's honestly still one of the best first person shooters I've played in years despite the game being years old itself. It's metacritic is at 94%, even higher than Re4 remake

The Series S controls are not as bad as people are making them out to be. Zooming in with the scope has the most lag, which brings me to: Capcom needs to patch the rendering on both Resolution and Frame Rate modes. That is my only qualm with the game. It is fantastic.

The Series S may have a more grounded GPU, but it has far better memory and storage speeds and a much more powerful CPU that's basically the same as the Series X, only slightly underclocked. The One X may excel in rendering native 4k graphics, but at the cost of high performance hits due to its CPU bottleneck.

The entire game is gorgeous regardless of the setting. Sure Ray Tracing looks amazing, hair strands make Leon my husband, and the higher the texture quality, the better. But it still looks GORGEOUS without any of that.
The performance is much lower than other RE engine games like RE 2 remake and DMC 5, Hopefully they improve it since that was is the main point of the engine, being able to look amazing while also being played by even mid range cards of some years ago that a ton of people have (rx 580 and gtx 1060)

@@julianmitchell5776 Digital Foundry goes into more detail about the issues of the game across all platforms. Most of them are subtle, but stuff like VRAM stutters on PC, abnormal chromatic aberration blurriness on PS5, and input lag on Xbox are things that can affect the overall experience.
Performance is flawless. On PC I’m running 1440p max settings + max ray tracing on my RTX 3090. Getting a stable 120+ fps. One of the most well-optimized games in a long time!
Always wait until a patch or two down the line. In the demo, RT reflections weren't in the PS5 version. They fixed that for release and said they are aware of the TA pass issue and are working on a fix. The image quality issue is post process effect and will be sorted out. PS5 has higher resolution in performance mode already. As for your comment, most recent releases have been better on PS5 graphically.
And they still gave it a 10 will all the problems the game also has alot of texture pop in wich is unacceptable in 2023 but its the re engine that needs a upgrade

The game has serious issues on both consoles needs some work the Xbox has awful controller dead zone issues and performance problems and PS5 imagine quality is really bad at points
The Switch is like a 5 generations old hardware. Even the Vita looks more impressive still than anything seen on the Switch. That low rez pixelated sub HD Switch screen is atrocious to look at and its actually fake OLED, all it is is more saturated LCD with a bit of HDR added to it to make it look like an OLED screen

It's not because ps5 can't handle the graphics level of series x. It's more to do with the checkerboard method used on ps5, ps5 can easily hit the same graphics level of series x. It's the same problem that horizon forbidden west had and was patched later on and now it looks phenomenal. I'm sure capcom will soon patch out the problem.
I've pretty much quit the game at this point as my game has crashed like 7 times at one part of the game. I've got an RTX 3060, Ryzen 5600, 32GB DDR4 ram, and 2TB SSD. I've tried verifying the files on steam, updating all my NVIDIA drivers and my system updates, and using the optimal settings in the NVIDIA launcher for the game but my game still crashes(I don't go above yellow for GPU graphics usage)

Actually the ballistics come in later in the game when Ashley's jacket comes off, they even added jiggle physics, even her dress becomes almost similar to the original and gives you nostalgia they did a great job with Ashley

Got the Series X version. Runs great on my tv Series 8 Samsung. Also put it on warm 2 setting through my Samsung tv to get the old school feel filter.
This game blows me away on the PS4 Pro, BUT I’d say it’s worth $39.99… the $60 price tag just doesn’t seem fair for last gen.

Have a PS5 but went with my 7900xt PC. Getting a solid 105-120fps 4k FSR 2 Quality with normal RT.

What about RT/hair off performance on Fidelity on PS5? Seems pretty stable on PS5 since the RT and hair settings are almost entirely pointless.
The Dualsense controller implementation is actually brilliant, just like in re2 and Village. Making the PS5 the definitive version.

WTF with resolution on PS5, need patch, but effect, shadows, HDR, AO better on PS5. Anyway, for the collection need to buy a disc version for PS5, but play on PC.
