Before one claims that something is unhealthy due to high calories, one should look at calorie value versus just calories. I heard a glass of whole milk has more calories than some sodas. However soda’s calories are just calories. Milk has a wide range of nutrients. Despite having more calories than soda, milk is better.
For those of you who can't drink alcohol for any reason (I take meds that make alcohol make me too tired to enjoy it), there are some great red wines that are alcohol free. Just check out your grocery store. Asda here in the UK has a couple, along with an alcohol free rose & a couple of alcohol free whites.
The only people I ever knew that drank non-alcohol beers and wines were trying to quit drinking. When they realized the money they were spending on fake booze, they either went back to the real thing or just drank soda or flavored water or juices, sometimes in a mocktail. I've never enjoyed the taste of booze enough to want to drink a non-fun version of it like near beer or fake wine. Just made 2 years alcohol-free after a 43-year run.
Here are a couple of things they left out in regards to both beef jerky and peanut butter, they can be healthy if you get the right ones but 95% of the products on the shelf are NOT healthy. When looking for beef jerky you have to look at the sugar content and the ingredient list because they pump it full of chemicals to keep it shelf stable and they are using low grade beef. I usually look for grass feed with as few ingredients as possible and 3 or less grams of sugar. As for peanut butter if you are buying Jiffy or Skippy you are not getting healthy peanut butter because of all the added sugar and the chemicals they add to keep the oil from separating. If you actually want healthy peanut butter the ingredient list should have only one or two items which are peanuts and salt if you want salted peanut butter, that's it.
I definitely agree! Nowadays companies like to put flavorings on everything and you even have to watch out for artificial sweetener when it has low sugar but this is a great start for mojo

Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! I agree with honey 100%. Also there is Manuka honey that has antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
A word of caution about honey though: you have to be vigilant to make sure you are actually consuming real honey. A lot of "honey" products sold in stores are actually mainly corn syrup. Avoid those. Also, on the popcorn point, real butter is not bad to have on it, in moderation of course. It's the artificial butter flavoring stuff that's usually on theater/processed popcorn that's not good for you.

Perhaps not all the enzymes are activated in grape juice; I guess the resveratrol enzyme becomes very active and bio-available when the grapes go through the fermentation process in making wine. Some grape juices might contain more added sugars or preservatives.
My dad make air pop popcorn when he feels like it. There are some nights my dad would do bake potatoes for him and my grandfather, he would use yogurt instead of sour cream

People who have access to a wallnut tree, most probably know that wallnuts that are not-yet-mature taste incredibly delicious! There are however 2 things you ought to know before picking a 'green wallnut'......1)You should not eat the skin of wallnut(unlike a mature wallnut which ppl eat with their skin on) in fact you have to get all the way inside the core of a wallnut......2)You should know that you'll end up having black hands, because the outter shell of a GREEN wallnut tends to colour your hands black! I want all the potatoes.
I love pork rinds, but a few months ago I saw it on the list of food that are the least healthy.
I would imagine that the excessive amounts of salt in commercial brands of pork rinds make it unhealthy. In the USA, Mexican owned supermarkets and grocery stores make their own pork rinds (and beef jerky) that contain much less salt.
