its sad to think that music artists today dont write about war and bravery nowerdays. such an emotional song that should help us remember the fallen, they dont write them like they use to
Great fan-made vid, one that gives the fan-made Skids vids from GallowayHills a run for the money & that's saying something! Thx 4 posting! Oh, you forgot to mention Bill Nelson plays Keys & Synth on this tune, FYI....
Great pictures you have added. Days in Europa is extremely relevant in 2012 with the euro and the Olympics. Can't believe fewer than 5,000 people have seen it in more than three years! Adding the words is a great idea, now that Maxell cassette tapes are no longer widely available watch?v=Gib916jJW1o Now Ex-Bunnyman Ian McCulloch is making an album "Pro Patria Mori" - add that to the tags.
There are some books in german who are called "heroic nihilism". They are filled with the horror of war (written by veterans), so you could read them as "antiwar" but in fact they are: pro war. I do not think that this song is totally antiwar. War can also be fun i think, bloody fun ;)
Yeah, the Maxwell add is great! Have you seen the others? "Me ears are alight?" Great! Jobson seems a likable guy but has his own singing style... He seems to sing clearer nowadays. What if Sir Stuart had taken the lead vocals then? I will add the tag for Ian!

Excellent, never heard this Skids track before. The Damned did a track with the name dulce et.... It even featured on an episode of Miami Vice !
