Its in my heart and always will be , for some very personal reasons.Going to see The Skids at Concorde2 , Brighton , June 17th 2017 , for their 40th Anniversary Tour . I love that band .End of . I am also 52 yrs young , first saw them on T.V. when i was a teen.Saw them in concert back in the ( Punk) day , 1979 and ..erm ..1979 again.Came to Brighton twice in 12 months . Fucking love you Boys .But im not an anorak.Its just your singles often became special to me , in my life . Now , im a Bus Driver ! Lol ! But proud of it . It was an achievement...and any cunt out there who thinks.......well , you drive a fucking Monster without the relevent and essential training first !! You wont do it ! It takes 6 weeks training to drive a 38 foot , 11 ton empty bus.And every 15 passengers equals 1 extra ton in weight...and double deckers hold 70 to 80 people , so work that out , you skids slaggers ! ( dont bother straining...its 5 tons of meat/extra weight on board ) But i got the easy job . I drive Bendy Buses .They hold 130 people.If i get upset by any criticism to my post , or slagging of the Skids , im bound to get stressed , and end up crashing a bus with 130 lumps of meat on it .And you dont want that on yur conscience , do you ? Youl crash cos them fuckers go out of control real easy unless you know what your doing first. Like Skids. Fuck you ! Ticket please , Sir .....

There are some books in german who are called "heroic nihilism". They are filled with the horror of war (written by veterans), so you could read them as "antiwar" but in fact they are: pro war. I do not think that this song is totally antiwar. War can also be fun i think, bloody fun ;)
