- Sky Mother Aviana got buffed, and I never dreamed it would be enough to make her playable. I might have been wrong (for the first time ever), because she's getting played with some success in the newest versions of Dragon Druid!

Power Level Estimate: Although this archetype is not at the top of the meta with Demon Hunter, it has solid win rate data overall. I personally had an 11-6 run with it at Legend.

I hate that there is nothing to remove the plagues anymore. As someone who likes big Reno lists DK just takes all my fun away ☹️

everyone bitches about that, but i played a LOT of plague dk and NEVER saw steam cleaner. its too slow, ur better off winning ur own way then trying to stop dying. The real change needs to change highlander cards to "if your deck contained no duplicates at the start of the game do X"
@@proofmr2 I completely agree. Never attempted running steam cleaner. Just hate that they built an entire archetype that completely counters 100% an entire archetype that an expansion was built around. Just sad and pathetic game making. Such cool deck possibilities just to be ruined.

Dragons in card games are always satisfactory
the dragon part is what is making her good for sure ive been trying to make a deck with bouncing her multiple times and her alone is too slow of a wincon you need the dragons to make her good
Wasn't that obvious? Unless you have a way to draw multiple cards a turn, if all you have is what you draw on turn, it ends up not really mattering how cheap the cards you draw are. A tempo style deck makes sense, where if about every other card you draw is super cheap to weave in to your usual, good game plan as a booster, I.E. the dragon druid. It's just a shame druid has lost their deep draw tools. Worst time to lose nourish.
@@Crawver yeah ive been adding the hero power package and the draw 2 for 4 but costs 1 less for your attack this turn so 0 mana draw 2

Yeah I just ripped this out last night running an armor, taunt, discover and draw deck with aviana and pulling cards out of my deck to slam down. I had 38 armor and a board full of some sick legendaries with good effects. Warriors didn't stand a chance. Beat a few DKs too.

@@ClassicalCatDX3 cactus Construct x2, Raven idol x2, life binders gift x2, wind-up sapling x1, aeroslicer x2, contaminated lasher x2, frost lotus seedling x2, swipe x2, pendant of earth x2, thick hide kodo x2, greybough, aviana. That's the druid cards. Armor vendor x2, plated beetle x2, Stone Hill defender x2, and taelen fordring. Basically you just defend and discover what you need till you play aviana then draw and discover from your deck. I imagine it would be better or more consistent to run the hero power package, but honestly the discover flavor is one of my favorites and stone hill defender is one of my favorite cards. So I went for a weird discover deck that has a lot of fun cards to go with it.

What about that new druid card that reduces attack and cost of minions by 1? 0-mana cards have historically proven to be overpowered.
0-mana cards that you put into your deck have proven to be overpowered :P The difference between a 1 and 0 mana legendary that is shuffled into your deck is not that big. Especially since you dont do it on the early turns
I still think this card makes sense though. Having earlyer Yogas and eonars can be crucial. Also cheaper matrons and spinetails and all the value cards Seen to be worth it.

I shuffled 10 legendaries in my deck... the 2 of them was duplicate :DD I lost game bcs of that sadly :D My Reno wasn't working... :D

playing aviana before your highlander cards is usually not the play...i've found she shuffles duplicate legendary's quite often
What packs can you get reno guaranteed
Duplicates in a Druid Reno list is so bad plus aviana early can give you rheastraza, gnomelia etc and it happens often enough to make dupes bad. U need Reno often early as well. This deck needs ignis
Apparently, it is actually not bad, because this is the highest win rate Druid deck. The best full Highlander version has a 7.5% lower win rate right now.

Demon hunters dominating the meta wtf? We're not playing the same meta, cause for me it's 90% fucking dumb control warriors and games are boring as fuck
I've literally played like 1 warrior in legend since expansion and about 5000 demon hunters
Yeah, like 50%+ of my games are the Demon Hunters using the boxing gloves to get the window shopper thing. Though I have seen a lot of the highlander tendril warriors too, just not as many.
