  • I stood in London with this sign for a week, trying to find a job. As a migrant, I arrived with limited financial resources and tried to avoid homelessness. I will do everything I can to find a job. Here it is, what happened...
I will also show the dark side of London and try to illustrate how difficult it is to build anything there!

It's also called a bystander effect. When crowds of people walk past you they assume somebody else will surely help you.

They make it difficult for locals to do farm work like that. My cousin tried to get a job at an orchard and got turned away even though she was fine with it being minimum wage.

its completely different nowadays in london, back in the day you could easily get something but now its gig work, temporary contracts and nothing permanent

As a Brit, what really annoys me are employers (or potential employers) scamming people through false promises, making folk work 3+ hours without pay (not sure that is legal), by law you should have a break after 4 or 5 hours; heard alot of stories of employers paying (usually) migrant workers the legal minimum wage on the books then asking (well prob demanding) money back), or simply paying employees well below minimum wage off the books (Defo illegal). Not just a London thing, but probably common in London

@@davybean8981 There are laws against it. The problem is the lack of enforcement.

Every six months or so I read about a person with a sign trying to get a job. Usually it is a good news story and they are picked up by some generous employer. It is nothing new - as you say - and it is also a fantasy - like the film.

This is not an uncommon problem - Western economies are developed and are generally looking for skilled labour with a good standard of the Wngkish language- many migrants don’t have the skills that employers are looking for and employers struggle to fill vacancies from their own populations- this only leaves the option of very menial work- this problem is common across Europe - Sweden is a classic example! This creates societal problems as the disaffected then often end up being drawn to crime to make ends meet!

    Dear viewers!
Thank you for watching and for your positive comments. (Thanks also for the negative comments. ) Only offensive or racist comments will be deleted. Some comments do not appear here. (Maybe youtube deletes them?)
I see them on my profile, but somehow they don't show up here. So. I apologize if I don't answer them!
Also: this is not the first video where some extremists call me a racist. These will also be deleted. Here you can see what it's like when I try to build a community (with the money I collect in the West) Enjoy the video!
ua-cam.com/video/LGkLE7S2xe4/v-deo.htmlEven if that is negative or just criticism too.

Don't take it personally. Maybe you did go into too much detail on your CV. Maybe people didn't need Stuntmen/Fight Choreographers without references? Maybe you should have just said your intent to work honestly and reliably and are trustworthy.

Employers taking advantage of desperate people doesn't surprise me at all, but it still disgusts me. They will bring in more then enough money to pay everyone above minimum wage but would prefer to resort to slaver tactics.
Worlds a stupid place at times, hope you live better now.

A very interesting video and I respect your efforts in your pursuit of a job. It was quite good to see through the eys of a foreigner who had bought into the lies told about the West and its job markets.
The native British have been struggling to get jobs themselves because of foreign competition, so it's only natural that a relatively unskilled and poor English speaker would struggle in a market full of other good and poor English speakers, skilled and unskilled. I have heard countless stories of natives battling for minimum wage jobs and then arriving to places where they're the only white person - the competition at the bottom is absolutely fierce.
As a British nationalist, I do think that the absolute majority of foreigners should be kicked out and the "Britain needs foreigners like you" attitude is a silly one, but I do wish you the best in creating something of value in your own region because you have the willingness to try. With the right connections and skills, I believe you are the kind of person who could significantly impact and potentially transform your own hometown and bring prosperity (if you have the right locals to do it with).

In London u need 100% an agency or to apply via CV it s kind of hard to find like u did plus u didn t go into industrial area witch was in zone 3-4 where u could find a job very easy back then with a contract but i think u would get a bad rate.
