    Another great tip I hardly hear is simple but crucial; Don't be afraid to play by yourself. Solo or with random team fill. If that's the alternative to not playing at all because you can't find a good pre-made team group, it's better to improve by actually *playing*. I suck at taking my own advice though, and randoms will always be up in the air in terms of potentially helpful/harmful teammates

    I don't see this being often said but always consider playing solo. Personally if u really wanna improve your performance, timing, and plan execution solo is the ideal way to learn about your mistakes or how to find ways to win unwinnable situations. Improving your stealth and aggressive and defensive tactics alike is a vital part of solos.

    • @Oceanium_
      @Oceanium_  Рік тому +4

      Yeah definitely a good way to improve quickly!! Mistakes made as a solo are way more impactful in learning what not to do.

      Playing in duo's or trios isn't the same for me. My friends like to rush in looking for kills while I like taking my time and catching people making noises

    Another tip, that you showcased often in the video, is be sure to cook your dynamite/grenades. Just throwing it right away, especially if it is somewhat close by, almost always guarantees that it won't get a kill. Unless it's a really far throw, I always cook my nades to try and air burst them.

    • @Oceanium_
      @Oceanium_  Рік тому +1

      Yes thank you! Should have mentioned that, great tip! Airbursts are super useful when they are near water!

      This tactic legit just won me a game a couple min ago lol. It’s so true, I pinned the guy behind some hay bales and just a quick 2-3 second cook and well placed right at his feet

    "Tactical Agression"
    Me hearing another enemy player dying inside a boss enclosure. "Ok boys, lets rush them! This is our chance!" The randoms: Nah bro, let me snipe with a shotgun from this bush.

    I have a tip for chronic players who are getting angry while playing this game. Cut back on how much time you spend on the game. I went from playing 8hrs a day to 3 to 4 matches a week. I also drop my mmr so i can actually play against other players at my skill level. You will still play against streamers because they all do the same.

    That last one is huge, you don't HAVE to take a shitty fight. Go extract and restart cause sitting still for 30 minutes waiting is just boring, tedious and brings down moral... Unless of course you like just sitting still and waiting but fishing exists

    • @Oceanium_
      @Oceanium_  Рік тому

      Exactly! Way more valuable to just leave and get into another match. I used to fixate on campers wanting to get the win, but I’ve gotten killed too many times after 30 min, and I never want to deal with that again Lmao fishing does exist🤣 literally I had a team tell me over voice chat that “you might as well leave because we are just chilling in discord in here” while they had a shit ton of concertina and trapped themselves inside. Like wtf

    That Revive Tip is really important.
    There’re so many times I see my teammates just sitting around being scared when all enemies are dead, or my down body is safe and nearby, or enemies got left just one badly injured, etcetc.
    And what’s worse is seeing them being “ay am genis” and then either rush in instead of easy revive and died stupidly, or being “sneaky” when they are already been seen, or leaving enemies easy revive.
    I usually consider myself’s skills less than my teammates so I usually prioritize revive them (unless rare case of them being full ret*rd or troll)
    And even if they are bad, more teammates = more distraction.
    I said this from experience in Asia server full of Chineses without self awareness, always thinking everyone speak Chinese. And god, playing with them can cause some 2nd hand brain damage. So there’re many times I have to see them going full “ay am protag”

    • @Yamitri
      @Yamitri Рік тому

      this tip is nice, but i'd like to offer a counter point to this. Your teammates corpse is a trap.
      Most people WANT you to go for that revive and to tie yourself up so you're forced into a bad position. Consider the opponents kit, the gun sound, the distance, and make that educated guess. Chances are, they are watching that corpse and wanting you to go for it.
      Reviving team members is not always the best play.

    One thing I will add; No matter your MMR or skill, you must, MUST get good at moving quickly and QUITELY through the map. There is nothing more dangerous in Hunt than a dead silent match. You'll see this alot in top star matches, the moment you set of that set of crows you ran by to get the the clue, that's a nearly map wide indicator that your ready to get ambushed.
    The amount of duo and trio teams my duo companion and I have wiped because we heard a flock of crows or dogs go off to ambush a team we never knew was there until then is uncountable.

    Yeah that agression is key. Often when you surprise a team and you get them on the back foot, you can also rotate around them pretty quickly without them realising because they'll be scrambling for cover.

      Lmaoo I don’t condone this behavior, but that is a strategy people use🤣 place some traps, hide in a bush, get some food, watch a movie, and get kills passively! Simple!
