This was a great video Treeck! You really put a lot into the editing and dialog. I really don't know WHAT I was doing before watching these series. I thought I was ok before, but your insights have helped bring my game to a new level. Thanks, and keep it up!
I would be very interested in hearing your insights concerning 4th position placements and strategy. I find that is the most difficult position to play and my results are horrible. Thanks
I think it would be valuable if the games you took these examples from were from the KOC discord with other high level players, because your opponents didn't give you as much trouble in these scenario's as they could have.
hey man, really been binging your channel lately. thanks for gathering all of this concise and precise data, and also for explaining your thoughts on positions in the game, makes it so much more fun to participate in :)
Such a nice guy, really passionate and hardworking. Keep the videos coming! A suggestion is to talk a little bit slower and give us more time to see your placements and dev cards :)
@@Treeckosaurus great video, thank you.A quick valuable feedback. I had to pause 9 times the video in order to catch up with the numbers on the board, anytime you say a number show it in the video ;)
It would be great to see a video of this in action. Specifically about how to trade for either the wood or brick that you don't have. Should you try and push for trades early? Or wait it out and maybe get yourself a road-building or year of plenty?
There's always the 10% of games in which you get so crazy unlucky or so crazy lucky that your gameplay barely makes a difference in the end result. However, for the other 90% of games, gameplay makes the difference between winning and losing. For that, my videos help. But theory alone isn't gonna cut it. You also need to play a lot, and realize your opponents have access to the same free resources here on UA-cam.
Ore Wheat Sheep. A strategy which focuses on getting development cards and cities efficiently. Hybrid OWS adds a little bit of wood or brick into the mix to make roads/settlements easier, but sacrifices a guaranteed Largest Army win against a full OWS-player. Does it answer your questions?

I'm really glad you like the video, Sonny! I will :)
Would you like to see a video on the gameplay (for Hybrid OWS) as well or do you want me to work on something else next?
Another video. Talk about what happens when you go for maximum production without paying attention to how it coordinates
Whatever you'd like...

Sure, those can be done. Writing them down.

Glad you like them Oliver! I always try to make my videos in a way people can effectively learn from them

I'm glad you like it. I appreciate your feedback, too. I agree with it. Forgot to "lengthen" the script a bit.

Big things are coming your way. Keep it up! :)
I hope so.

Thanks, this was helpful
Awesome :)
omg the dutch accent is so intense 0_0
Do u build a city first before u start buying development cards
Depends on the situation. Both tactics can work!
What's the meaning of OWS? and Hybrid OWS?

Coordinated Ore-Wheat is even better than Coordinated Wood-Brick
Agreed! But Wood-Brick is great, too. Ultimately, you need to able to win with multiple strategies to get 50% win-rates.
