Hello there! UA-cam Analytics is telling me this video is starting to takeoff, so just wanted to say I appreciate the love so far and I know some pieces of the video are a little outdated. Ignoring my pause in production, creating this video took no less than 100+ working hours for research/scripting/editing/ etc. If you feel like helping out in any way, getting to 1k subscribers is all I can ask for right now👍 Thank you again and feel free to leave topics for new videos like these below❤️
Great video man. Said a lot of the things I've been wishing others would say and you did it in a way that actually put the spotlight directly on EA. All of the hours you spent in research and preparation for the video shows man. Keep it up. I'll happily subscribe for more videos like this.
As a senior game engine programmer I can confidently say, if a game is disconnecting during LAN events it is not the server that is the issue. It's not even connecting to a server. Getting better servers will do nothing. It's just a poorly coded game on the 'client side.' Note that in FC 24, with the menus constantly 'hanging,' even in offline game modes, turning off the connection for the device results in the menus performing significantly better FOR OFFLINE MODES. It's just a poorly coded game on the 'client side.' Professionally, I wonder why there is a lack of pressure on platform companies like Microsoft and Sony as these issues will reflect poorly on their consoles. I was under the impression that platform developers must approve of a game for publishing rights.
@@captain_nullptr Thanks for your insight! So I know the clip I used where it blue-screened probably wasn't servers, but I still opted to use it since it "crashed" and went along with that section of the vid. But even the first clip where it disconnected at 14:35, that has nothing to do with servers either? Maybe they're still playing "online" even at a LAN event?
A 5v5 would work but a 11v11 will probably never happen. I personally have no issues with AI but my main issue rather is with having to have the funding to get a team to compete with.
I cant help but laugh when people say competitive fifa 😂😂😂😂 Imagine playing csgo and you have your crosshair on the final enemy and your gun jams and your operator falls over thats the level of rng in your typical fifa match 😂😂😂😂
I mean, I don't follow the competitive scene as much as I used to, but are the top players in these tournaments roughly the same every year? If so, RNG factor is not as big as you might think. But if the "competitive scene" keeps changing every year, then yea, impossible to call it a competitive game. (It's BS as it is, but if the same good players get to the top consistently, then it's way more skill-based than RNG, and not close to 50/50 nor more RNG-based).
A good example: Pokémon. While RNG is a big factor, the good players are consistently getting to the top and winning tournaments. The strategy part outweighs RNG by quite a lot. I do believe it's the same thing for FIFA. But yep, still BS. Pro Clubs 11vs11 should be the go-to if EA cared about the "competitive scene".
Good video, bro. I'll share my point of view as a Brazilian. Here in Brazil, everything is expensive, just imagine that our currency is worth almost six times less than a dollar, which makes consoles and games much more expensive. To buy a game at full price nowadays, we need to pay almost 30% of a minimum wage. Now, imagine what it's like for someone who wants to compete and needs to buy FIFA points to have a meta squad, it’s almost impossible if you're not rich or sponsored.
Good video. I came back to fut during lockdown. Got obsessed again (but still nowhere near as many) but stopped at fut 23. I played with my final team on fut 23 for the whole fut 24 season, which was refreshing as I didn’t have to grind for anything or watch the transfer market. This game mode is such a waste of time and really is all consuming. It’s honestly like having another job, but more stressful than my actual job.
I play competitive clubs now 11v11 paid leagues, I don’t see it ever becoming an official esport. 1. Travel costs and salaries not many organisations is going to pay for 11 players fund/travel for lan events since it’s simply not that profitable. 2. 11v11 clubs is boring to watch with all due respect. Fun to play but such a pain to watch for the vast majority. For an esport to actually be successful it has to be eye catching to the casual. If People don’t even like watching fc pro the only reason people watch fc pro is because of all the lootboxes they offer for watching.😂 3. The closest thing we can ever get to a true esport in FIFA will be through Rush, but gameplay will need to change vastly before that even happens.
One thing that forgot to mention, in PC there's Anti-cheat that is completely useless when there's hackers in PC and still using lots of CPU to slow your game down, WELL DONE EA 🙃🙃

The only solution is to boycott FC 26 come on guys if you are addicted to football you can play efootball and UFL is coming be smart guys and have dignity if people buy this game every year ea will change nothing because the strategy that gives wins will not be changed
That would be impossible. The best alternative would be getting people to stop spending money on the game cos ea make most of their money from in game purchases

This needs to be seen by many more players. For a casual gamer. It’s crazy how they expect us to pay way more than you would for other AAA games (e.g., Sekiro, DS3, even other games with micro transactions) This is my first year not paying a single dollar and granted I’m not that good but I’ve been grinding objectives, 45pts, squad battles, moments) I have 180k in the bank and Neymar - as you say I would’ve had that with maybe 2k fifa points
Fifa points in general get you these days untradeable fodder players, mostly to complete p2w sbc's. Getting coins for points is so hard, unless you dont mind spend 1 k on less than a mill ( Unless casino accidently gives you a nice player )
Great video dude. Their inability to address the fundamentals is most concerning. I actually think they have NO IDEA how to fix their code. They don’t want to, bc why would they? As someone who played fifa 12-16 a ton in high school, this game is a disgrace. People also forget how impactful weekly informs were…
EA is no longer the problem here. The real problem is us, the people who buy the game and buy Fifa Points. The people who make content with this filth. The players are all screaming for change, but they themselves don't want to change. EA only speaks one language and that is: SALES. Only when something happens here will those at the top, who have nothing to do with game development, ask what's going on. EA will only react when the sales go backwards. I started with Fifa in 1994 and stopped buying this game 2 years ago. This game has hardly anything to do with soccer and was ruined by EA's greed. Instead of drawing the consequences here, you throw more money at this company. If we don't change, we certainly don't need to expect EA to change.
I watched this through Jamboo’s channel and it’s spot on. The only thing I will add is it’s gambling aimed at children and EA deserve to get hammered for that.
Whoever created ultimate team is a rich genius but grooming kids to gamble is this companies main priority. This should be illegal but no one seems to care. It’s gonna take the government to put a stop to their predatory tactics.
You put out such a really well-rounded video here. I hope this video link is spammed to all EA employees by everyone reading this until they wake up and leave their delusional echo chambers and REBUILD this game. Could you do a video on how EA has turned youngsters who use their parents credit cards at the start of their fifa experience into full on gamblers with a serious addiction in their later years.. great content btw 👏🏽
During 2018-2022 I used to play TONS of FIFA and FUT Champions, especially during the lockdown period. I've never spent a single cent on FIFA points, but I've managed to consistency get decent ranks like Gold 1 and Elite 3 (20 and 23 wins respectively in 30 games, for those who doesn't know). Nowhere near a pro player, but I was better than the average FUT player, for sure. I don't know about the competitive scene, but you can definitely reach the highest ranks of the game without spending money on packs.

Ever since they started letting the AI defend for you is when the game started declining for me, FIFA 17 was the last good fifa not touched in for 2 years probs won’t ever play it again
Even as someone who has played Fifa all their life, and is a huge esport fan, competitive Fifa is an absolute joke. The game is so badly balanced that everyone just abuses the game breaking mechanics, and with all the cheese the game is genuinely RNG at times. Easily one of the worst esports out there.
What I never understood is why do people keep playing it? The same people have the same complaints year after year and they still buy it. What motivation do EA have to change anything? If you hate the game, stop giving them money for it!
Don’t forget madden operates on 100% the same structure. The part no one talks about either is you might drop $2500 on packs before TOTY comes out. Then TOTY comes out and all new meta cards are out. Every promo just forces you to spend more money to get the most up to date meta card.
You see. They bring every 2 weeks new promos so the values of the players like gold or other promo cards drop. It’s like a infaltion. If you had players worth 2Mil. Now they worth 1,5Mil. So you need to spend money on packs to get to the 2 Mil again. It’s a never ending cycle
Great video mate game is just absolutely screwed since a lot of years back and back then we didnt even realise how good we had it if u compare it to how it is rn
This was great. But what is bad is that even though all of the issues have been diagnosed, they will not fix them and we will still buy the game year after year.
i was really addicted to this game I decided to quit on fifa17 and wow my life and mental health shifted to whole another level i hope people realize how bad this game is and ea manipulating them And finally great video
Good video, but imo the game is more pay to win now than ever. A player with 99 passing and no playstyle plus has SIGNIFICANTLY worse passing than a player with 75 passing and lobbed ball plus, so the power curve is locked behind promos and store packs. Both playstyle pluses and the new position ++ thing are a way to make them more money with more promos yet they make the gameplay worse and unbalanced.
I can become as good as I want in fifa but in ultimate team I get a whooping from a 9year old who play with a team filled with Terminators and a tactic I can’t imagine work in reality. That his mom payed for 😅 They should at least made a alternative ultimate team system where you can’t spend money but just earn your money trough matches and buy/sales.. I will never buy a fifa again if they don’t remove the money grab system from the game !
It took me one FIFA game to see how bad the online experience was and how disgustingly predatory EA is without any giving one thought about the players feedback
Also back in fifa 17 atleast players had different styles that could make them pro. A good esport needs skill you can identify as being amazing and hard to replicate..
people who still buy this game and pay 20/30/50$ a pack for players that will be outdated in one week are to blame. Who will ever stand up to fix something if he keeps getting money throw at ?
Amazing video. Real sad. One day justice will be done, but they have already saved money for thst day anyway and will happily pay the fine and pretend nothing happened
Great video honestly Subscribed The gameplay is why esport will never succeed in fifa The new ^ai^ is absolutely terrible and is predeterment beforehand As long as ea refuses to remove dda there is no hope for this game Everything is chosen before the game even begins Who wins who loses hiw a chance will go hiw the goalkeeper will react Sometimes the vame wants you to scire so the ball will start going inside the players to give the opponent a advantage its bad
I think not taking into account 24 and 25 actually hurts certain aspects of this video. The biggest issue is that while "skill" still does matter to some extent, the top cards are still fairly unattainable until late, and having meta cards with certain PlayStyle+ attributes is key if you want to survive at the top level. It's gotten to a point where even top players struggle on their RTG accounts. The gap is just as much about the cards as it is about skill at this point.
oh 100%, it hurt the video not including 24 or 25 but it wasn't feasible for me to add for a lot of reasons I won't go into, so I just went with what I had! And I agree with you to an extent, I think the point I was still trying to make is that a bad player with the best possible team would still lose to a good player with an average team more often that not. But yeah obviously when you have good players against good players in EA FC nowadays, the guy with better players/playstyles+ would have a considerable advantage
Really nice to see that EA sports from april 2020 to march 2021 only contributed 1-2m on prizes, when their video games made them 1,600 million dollars, 1.6b that they did not want to reinvest into their own game that very easily could get fed back into the game or make more people contribute money to their microtransactions etc. very scummy and cheap of EA, they clearly do not care about their players at all...
The problem is not the players but is with EA. They don’t care about the noises and just steamroll us with the contents they deem fit. Every feedback the community is giving, i don’t think ea is even bother reading or listening. Silence is golden for them.
i think we all can agree that EA are the worst gaming company in gaming history, i never understood how you can deal that bad with and add so much toxicity to an football game scripted from the start to the end... and putting an casino on it like duh.. Anyways good video man !!
That’s something I should’ve included in this video in all honesty, an oversight on my part. Honestly not sure i could make a full video out of it either tbh
In FC25 no matter how many points you buy, you get nothing. Quite the opposite, the more points you put in, the more you will get nothing. The solution is with us and it's so simple, don't buy this game no matter what and how much we want it!
Ngl i would not compare Fifa's price pools to Fortnite's World Cup because WC was one-off event when the game was on the peak of its hype and esports scene was not clear structured by Epic yet. Nowadays its replaced by FNCS with 3 online majors in the end of the seasons and final LAN major in the end of the chapter
I understand that view, but I think for me it’s still telling that half of one tournament outweighed 6 years of fifa for a game that you can’t pay for competitive advantages. and i think it’s one that most people are familiar with. But agreed, they definitely didn’t keep that type of prize pool going after the world cup
Fifa is only good for 3 things •KickOff •Manager career •Player career I never paid attention to the online nonsense Great video btw Definitely subbing 🇿🇦

thank you bro
It took me one FIFA game to see how bad the online experience was and how disgustingly predatory EA is without any giving one thought about the players feedback
Great video!
Beautifully made video.
Great video honestly

The gameplay is why esport will never succeed in fifa
The new ^ai^ is absolutely terrible and is predeterment beforehand
As long as ea refuses to remove dda there is no hope for this game
Everything is chosen before the game even begins
Who wins who loses hiw a chance will go hiw the goalkeeper will react
Sometimes the vame wants you to scire so the ball will start going inside the players to give the opponent a advantage its bad
I want the old Career Mode focused FIFA, thanks to UA-camrs for ruining the Franchise promoting Ultimate Team

Poor Timmy 😢. Like commented and subscribed 👍
they should block the sale of these FC points, just like in Belgium, because it is simply pure gambling
Actually not only have I heard fifa explained like this I have also heard it explained far better and less annoying
Great video, very interesting and very well made 👏 + 1 sub ✅
0:48 Is that Inception?
@@magno_ytb correct
Nice video but can you do a video on how fifa esports teams make money ? Like team Gullit for example
That’s something I should’ve included in this video in all honesty, an oversight on my part. Honestly not sure i could make a full video out of it either tbh
Great vid thank you for having a voice for millions who are tired of EA gambling game!!!
GET THIS Legend to 1k SUBS!
This video is VERY PROFESSIONAL & the AUDIO is SUPER CLEAR!
bravo. i miss pre foot champs UT. Quit almost a decade ago now. damn
Great Video!
In FC25 no matter how many points you buy, you get nothing. Quite the opposite, the more points you put in, the more you will get nothing.
The solution is with us and it's so simple, don't buy this game no matter what and how much we want it!
Great video.
Cooked um. Well done.
Excellent video
good vid mate keep it up
LEGEND top INFORMATIVE video!
Big shocker a company tries to make as much profit as possible
i guess i could’ve just said that tbf
The video we all needed!
This is why I stopped playing Ultimate Team in FIFA 23
I started playing it in FIFA 20 btw
The worst thing by far with this game is the streamers promoting it!
Great video
They need to nerf defensive ai. Makes the game a bore.
Fifa is only good for 3 things
•KickOff
•Manager career
•Player career
I never paid attention to the online nonsense
Great video btw
Definitely subbing 🇿🇦
It's also great if you like skill moves. I took a lot of inspiration from FIFA and learned the moves in real life.
I don't play fifa and I don't like it
I am a die hearted pes fan(I still play pes 2021 with modes by the way)
Anyways

We just need an honest competitor. UFL maybe but I'm skeptical. People won't stop paying EA until there's a better game out there to play.
