Hi Madmalko! The muff fuzz isn't related to the big muff apart from the name. The muff fuzz came before the big muff, it's similar to a fuzz face with fixed gain, and clipping diodes on the output. Double muff is one muff fuzz cascaded into another. To my ears it sounds more"open" than a big muff, less muffled. I love that you can get fuzz face type tones out of these, but more controlled and with more top end, where a fuzz face can get a tad boomy on the bass notes. A great underrated pedal. Thanks for the demo.
oh theres so many fuzz pedals i get lost, i think i tried out about 20 fuzzes , one pal lent me a bag of them then after id tried them someone else gave me a bag of them to try, fuzz overload!
@@MADMALKO Sounds like bliss! You can have too much choice though - gets in the way of getting the best out of any pedal. Fuzz I find is especially sensitive to changes in the rig, volume pots in the guitar, pedals that follow, amp and even cable length. By the way, using the Double Muff in single mode and using a booster in front (e.g. LPB1) you get a [very poor mans] Tonebender.
haha! - yes it is , i got it at the dump, dont really know how it works but ive got it plugged into the fx send from the amp and it looks like a borg alcove, keep forgetting to turn it on!

Is that an oscilloscope on top of the marshall cab?
