A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ UA-cam. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of UA-cam I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on UA-cam won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This UA-cam channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

I don’t. I’ve gone years between hearing this at different times of my life - and I know and love the song. Also, there are popular performers of TODAY (hiphop and other) who have probably sold hundreds of millions albums who I have never heard a song by. We all live in different bubbles. Musically. Exactly what I was thinking. This video has over 333 million views:
      ua-cam.com/video/kijpcUv-b8M/v-deo.html
I pulled this off the net:
The song possesses a great variety of notes, ranging from F2 in the harmonies on the line "Can anybody find me?", and A♭2 to a C5 in full voice up to an A♭5 in falsetto in the lead vocals, all sung by Mercury
Freddie Mercury had a wonderful vocal range of 4 octaves. His highest note being a D6 in the songs Impromptu(Tokyo 1985) ,Save me. And his lower notes going as low as F2 in Somebody to love, All dead All dead
This is a video of Impromptu 1985 Tokyo:

Amazing fact about Queens' lead guitarist Brian May. He was actually working on getting his Ph.D in astrophysics when Queen was formed. Music meant so much to him so he put his doctorate on the back burner. After Freddie Mercury died, Queen disbanded. Even while still part of the group Brian and his father designed and built a new kind of guitar. Brian's IQ has been measured in the 160's. That's even beyond Big Bang Theory smart. So he was a real genius on top of being a musical genius. after Queen disbanded, Brian went back to working toward his doctorate. He finally got it in 2006 or 7. He's now Dr. Brian May Ph.D. He's also written about 6 books on the subject of astrophysics.

I would say that after a song as epic as this that John's fish is probably sufficiently steamed - remember, bass aficionados: if the flesh looks translucent then it is NOT quite done. Thx! I always find it pleasant when younger people have enough sense to hear older people! I know I loved my parent’s records! If you follow the lyrics they correlate with the music, as your lovely wife aptly notes when she said it’s like a story. It’s operatic. I was in the navy when this song came out. Many fun memories! -Terry from Canoga park

Saw Queen live in the 70's. They left the stage and played a tape during the chorale section, then came back for the hard rock part. Freddy Mercury was a theatrical dynamo on stage.

According to FANDOM: Queen Info Database, Freddie recorded The Show Must Go On in 1990. The song was released on October 1991, 6 weeks before Freddie died. So although he was very ill and could barely stand, he recorded the song in 1990 (no month stated).

Great choice, I recommended it too! I know many say he did the whole song in one take,, details often get mixed up, like the game broken telephone!. I have yet to see anything confirmed by Brian that it was done in one take (happy to view if someone has seen it..not Wikipedia...), but he did say the recording of it was like the performance of his life. Recorded about a year before he died. His last recording was made in May 1991(Mother Love) and died in Nov 1991.

Oh SNAP! I feel a knife just went through my heart! Lianne said 'My Grandma mentioned Queen.' Ouch! I grew up to Freddie Mercury and Queen in my teens! I guess 61 really is, as George Carlin put it, 'Getting Old...er!' Maybe saying it that way will make it last a little longer! :)

I introduced my nephews to the music of Queen and, of course, being teenage boys, their favorite Queen song is Fat Bottomed Girls, but all they had to do to fall in love with Queen's music was to actually sit down and listen to it. I'm a little younger than you are, but still old enough - 44 - to have grown up listening to Queen all my life, and it surprises me still when someone has no idea who they are, despite the fact that EVERYONE knows at least one Queen song, even if they don't realize it's Queen.

@@darlahays2471 I had one opportunity to see them, a ticket right in front of me. The trouble is, it was a girl with the ticket, and she wasn't my fiancée. If I'd gone to that gig at Milton Keynes 1983 (I think) instead going home to visit (I was in the RAF at the time) I probably wouldn't have been married for these 38 years...

Can't get enough of peoples first experience listening to this song. One of the greatest of all time. This Rock Opera was considered too long to play on the radio when it first came out. Most of their songs are shorter. Rome Life's girl's eyes lit up when she found out the beauty of Queen.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a classic! Try listening to "Love of my Life" from Queen. Its very good and very emotional song.. Also try a modern version of Bohemian Rhapsody with Queen and Adam Lambert. He does a great job with Queen and they still perform these days.. Well at least until right before this pandemic. Maybe you can see them live for yourselves one day

People who haven’t heard Queen before as an adult still baffles me because back in 2016 when I was around 12 I discovered Queen by myself and I was a fan already even though Freddie died years ago. And I found out almost all my peers (young children new into this world) have even heard this song and we even sung it together on a party (just a few didn’t know the lyrics). So to think that a lot of the new generation even caught up with Queen but an adult (in the west) hasn’t heard Queen before really shocks me.

All of the harmonies in the opening sequence were done by Freddie Mercury alone by layering multiple tracks. The video shows all 4 members lip syncing to these vocals, but it was all Freddie. He was a genius!
