A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ UA-cam. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of UA-cam I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on UA-cam won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This UA-cam channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

The Live version with Tina dancing is literally ICONIC. Shaped my childhood dance aspirations.
Everyone gonna say the same thing... this woman is a force of nature. You gotta see her do this live. The 60s version is hot and sweaty. But the 90s version is ansolutely euphoric.
Bette Midler claims she learned how to dance in heels by watching Tina Turner.
She puts everything she has into her performances.
The time she made a duet with a young Beyoncé singing and dancing to this song was amazing. It was a "passing of the torch kind of moment"
@@peccatumDei wow. But...Bette doesn't hold a candle to Tina!
You have to she this live. She never stops moving.
YES!!!!!!
I think Tina always needs to be live! Inspired generations!
Yaaassss!!!
It's impossible to Listen to this song and start still, it Always gets my pumped and going, even now 04.00 in the morning😂
Tina has legs that kill, and a voice that is even better. So grateful that she shared herself with all of us in the face of everything she went through.
My mother absolutely loved Tina Turner and this was her favorite song. Mom passed away 8 years ago.... we played it at her funeral ❤️
After watching Tina live, everyone wishes they had 10% of her energy. She puts on a show that is rivaled by no one!
You should see an older live performance. Famous dance routine and all.
Absolutely, late 1960's is the only way to go, you've got to SEE the performance from the entire band.
You need to see the live version. They actually shake a tail feather, it's amazing.
Tina Turner is just a fantastic woman and artist. Yes you must see the live version, she is Amazing. 👋🇸🇪
fun fact: when they made a Tina Turner biopic in 1993, Angela Basset played her, wonderfully. But Tina herself stood in as the "stunt legs" in the close-up performance footage, since neither Angela nor anyone else had the amazing legs that this legend STILL does!
They were insured too!
As she got older her legs still looked gorgeously sexy!!!
At 7 or 8 saw the live version from TV and knew I wanted those legs.
Once I was getting off the LIRR in Penn Station with a dress and heels on for a night out, and a guy commented, “She got them Tina Turner legs!” Best compliment of my life! 😆
Watch her perform Nutbush City Limits as well.
OMG YES, I was just about to suggest this song
The original version from "Creedence Clearwater Revival" is also incredible and very different. They are an incredible band. And like people said,... Tina is live incredible.... she knows how to put on a show.
My favorite is Miss Tina's "What's Love Got to Do With It?" I believe it was at the Grammy's. So classy she blew everyone away.
When you see the live version, remember that she is likely to be over 60 in it. She's now in her early 80s and still performs with a gusto 20 year olds find astonishing.
Tina will be 81 on 26th November 2020 she last performed live on may 5th 2009 in Sheffield, England. Since then she has suffered serious health problems
Shes awesome and has earned her retirement which started like 10 yrs ago
@@gailemory3625I was.lucky enough to see her live 4 times
@@OldiesAl lucky you 😊
There are a few live versions that she is younger in.
Definitely something that should be seen live! She's amazing!
Me: watching you bop along to the "nice and easy" part just WAITING to see you get hit with the wall of energy that is the "rough" part, lol.
I half expected him to break into the Tina Turner dance moves 💃🏻😂
She does warn people in the beginning. Starting off nice and easy.
Same 😂
You can't just listen to this song...you HAVE to see her perform it. Nothing else compares.
You really have to see the live version of this. Any live version, whether she's 20 or 60!
YES 👍
Doesn't look like anyone's mentioned yet: This is a CCR cover.
Yup, John Fogerty of CCR wrote it almost 50 years ago.
Both version awesome in different ways. Love CCR. 4EVA
OH YEAH, Tell EM!!😃
Right !! I just said that. Thanks for mentioning it. They did it great also, but she took it to another level !
I love me a bit of Creedence, but Tina has made this song hers. When I think of "Proud Mary" I always think of Tina's version first.
Anything she does is gold. I saw her in 1985. One of the best concerts I had ever been to. Anything off of Private Dancer is wonderful.
Tina "The Legs" Turner, still my dads only crush. Every new years eve they play her concerts on tv thats when my mum knows shes not welcome in the living room 😂
Watching this without being able to see Tina dance is a SIN! She has the most iconic legs in history, she was the inspiration for Rod Stewart's Hot Legs.
Never could I sit still when Tina sang,, 🦋✌🦋
Yes, you must see this live. Her concerts are iconic! She is a power house. You will be in awe.
First, Tina’s “Nutbush City Limits”.
Then, Tina’s cover of Bob Seger’s “Fire Down Below”
Then, Bob Seger’s cover of Tina’s “Nutbush City Limits”
For more fun.
Brian Johnson from AC/DC did a wicked version of Nutbush.
OMG TINA!!! The Queen of Rock!!! 🤩
Yes. You must watch her perform it live. (Though I usually prefer watching reactions to original studio versions, this is one song that has to be seen live.)
You literally started doing the Tina dance 😂😂 bravo
You need to see live version, that girl was amazing never stood still..
"Simply the Best" "Private Dancer"
yes
You’ve got to do a live version!!!! There is nothing like Tina doing this live!!!
This song gave me goosebumps when I was a kid!! Still does. Love her!!
Yes I want to see you react to the live vision of it really amazing to watch
The videos of her doing this in concert are *amazing*
Love Tina ♥️♥️♥️one of the Best female artist ever....
Yes Yes we want to see you do the live performance you will be blowed away Thank you for all your reactions just love you and I’m so glad you’re open to all music and all Different kinds and years.
the first music video I ever remember seeing was Tina Turner's What's Love Got To Do With it. Still love that song.
Oh yeah the live version will blow your mind! Last I saw her perform this she was in her 60's and could still MOVE! She's amazing!! 😄💝
Yes!! If you do not see this fabulous dancer Tina Turner actually DANCE to this version of CCR's Proud Mary....you will never know what a legendary performance you missed!
Tina Turner is a True American Treasure.
I love her voice and did have the privilege to see her Live in Concert.
Incredible Show, still gives me goosebumps when I hear her Sing.
When she dumped her no-good husband Ike that was when her career really took off
I wouldn't call ike turner no good. He made her. She wouldn't be who she is if it wasn't for him. He was a Pioneer of rock. Yes he treated her bad but he was a legend in the music industry.
Glad she did, he was holding her back. Think he was mad that he was no good with out her. Beside he beat her a lot
@@chantelfitzgerald3341 He beat the cr*p out of her! If that's not being no good no oneis
Yes he was an asshole but he still was a musical genius
I saw her live in Las Vegas right after she left him in the 70s. I got tickets for dinner and a show, she opened for Bill Cosby. I think I still have the the souvenir from that night with their pics on it.
Heard an earlier version of this while a college sophomore in a mostly white southern university in the '70s. Turned my head around and this white boy was never the same.
Tina just turned 81 and is still one of the sexiest woman alive.
You have to SEE Tina Turner do this song LIVE when she was 63 years old. TRUST ME IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND !!! She starts out nice and slow....then....BOOM !!! PLEASE WATCH IT.
You definitely7 have to see it live! In fact, ANY song by her live is worth seeing. She is a fantastic performer extraordinaire!
Yes , you simply MUST see Tina strut her stuff in the live version of this. Incredible and she never stops moving. Dances her ass off !!!!
This song got u hyped... Watch the movie "whats love got to do with it" it'll hype up and piss u off... Shows how her life was..
You need to watch her dance to this song in concert. One of the all time great live performances.
Dusty Springfield "Son of a Preacher Man" album version
The reason I subscribed was because your reactions are so entertaining. You don't just react with words. Your whole body, from body movement to facial expressions tell it all. Just pure enjoyment.
You need to watch the live version to see the Iconic dance that goes with this song. The 1982 Version.
You must remember, Ms, Tina said they were going to do the beginning " Easy" and do the finish "Rough" . That is what she was talking about.
Tina Turner is the ultimate performer!!! Love her. I wish you were seeing the video she’s so amazing. I don’t remember a day in my house growing up where there wasn’t music. For that I was blessed. I am grateful I was exposed to blues, jazz, folk, rock, country and when MTV came put then I got rap as well. I play clarinet so I also got all the classical and love the standards like Bing Crosby
Tina's a legend! Lady threw down.
it's impossible not to move while listening to Miss Tina!
Tina rocks big time! My mother played Ike&Tina's 45's when I was in 1st grade. Love Tina and her story of strength and recognition. Gorgeous rock&roll voice and just look at her! Mesmerized from 1st grade til now. "Proud Mary" is just the tip of the iceberg...
Tina Turner is such an icon, legend, goddess, whatever you want to call her. Check out her remake of Al Greene's "Let's Stay Together". So awesome. I saw her in concert when her "Private Dancer" album came out and she blew me away. The legs on that woman, man!
Watching you move to this song is so inspiring. You must go back and watch a live version!
She TOLD YOU exactly what she was going to do, easy then rough! And it still surprised you! Love it!
Watch a live performance to see TRUE legend perform like a teenager!! Still got it in her 70s!!!!! The intensity of per performances NEVER changed
Yes I agree, you need to see her dance to this song. Tina's got some moves
Tina’s concert is the BEST I ever went to WOW 🤩💗😻
You should see this live....she is energy personified!
The LEGS along with the voice....TINA!!!!!
More Tina Turner! Her discography is incredible. You really can’t miss
She is and always will be known as the artist all other artist want to see perform
You HAVE to watch the live version of this!! Even into her 70's she danced her ass off and always in 6 inch heels!!
You need to watch the video where she sings this live in the tiny fringe dress. She has that fringe flying the whole time. Miss Tina is a legend!
If you see Tina dance... you'll understand how at 80 she still has a great set of legs. Very talented and an amazing life. One strong woman.
You have to see this song as it was performed on stage back then, Tina Turner's energy and dancing together with the backup dancers were phenomenal. This tune is a classic and she performed it for about another 30 to 40 years.
She’s the queen ! They broke the mold after she was made!
To me, Tina Turner and Stevie Nicks are the QUEENS of rock-n-roll. As everybody else is saying, you HAVE to see this one done live. The dancing is just too fun to miss! : )
When the transition hit and he started moving, lol!!!!
Dude your reaction to the change was priceless, see the live version from 1969 or 71. have a great day.
You must react to the live version! It’s a whole separate experience!
Yes! I want to see you watch it live! She is an amazing performer!
She is just another amazing Memphis talent.
This is one you definitely need to see live version...all about Tina's moves
Tina Turner "Miss Hot Legs " always amazing. I was fortunate enough to watch her live when she came to Portugal on tour in 1996. You really need to watch her live , she is amazing. Being there fore sure is still well printed in my memory . Stay safe.
Tina Turner rocks ...still in her 70s she still shakes it !
live with her and the ikettes dancing is something else. Also Cher and tina turner - shame shame shame live is pretty darn good
Gotta see the live version.....Tina Turner rocks......totally
You have to see the live versions, and then see the one with Tina and Beyonce together singing this !!!! Amazing ! Tina live from 80's on is unreal !!!!
I was wondering why the suggestions didn't suggest the live version "Tina" is phenomenal!!!!! Please react ASAP?!!!!!
You need to watch her do this live! Amazing!
TINA!!! The Queen of Rock!!!
Yes we wanna see this reaction! Tina is amazing! ❤
My first concert was Tina Turner. The band opening for her was ZZ Top. That concert was amazing!
I was never a concert goer. I probably went to a half dozen concerts, ever. In the late 80s I decided I just had to see Tina in concert. Then right then she announced she was going to retire from touring. I was heartbroken. Then several years later she announced she was going on tour again. I called immediately for tickets and saw her at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mt View, CA. Love her!!
I love the lyrics, "Pumped a lot of 'tane down in New Orleans". tane = octane = gasoline
Her Live video of this song when she was younger is electrifying. There's live videos of her at Wembley when she was older but the live version of this song when she was young is the best
You really should have reacted to a live performance of this song…it’s truly next level! I love Tina Turner, she is a rock icon!❤️❤️
Saw her back in the ‘80 s. Oh HELL YEA !!!
You MUST watch the live version of her doing this at Wembley Stadium...you will not be disappointed. She is one of the best performers of all time! She gives 110% in all of her performances...and keep in mind she was in her 60s when she did Wembley. She kicks a$$!
Mz.TINA should ALWAYS BE SEEN LIVE!!! 😍😎 Little Sparrow 😄
Must watch a Live performance to truly appreciate her talent.
Love, love, love her. Saw her 2x in the 80s at a night club in Tulsa. Then in the Tulsa Convention Center 10/31/91 and in 2008 in the Sprint Center in KC.
I hope you see the video where she is singing and dancing. Her dancing is fantastic 💃💃💃💃
One of my favs.. raised on all the classics!!!
Definitely check this out live!! Much better experience! Such a talent, the energy this woman had, and them beautiful legs, are undeniable! lol
You have to see her Dance and sing this song. She is Fire Man !!!!!!
