"Iconic Behaviour" im dead
I full on laughed out loud 😂
@@heathrdarling I had the same reaction to Jana Bieger's 'ninja skills' 🤣
Lol
I KNOW
I just think Beiger's ninja skill is insane.
That was pretty neat wasn’t it?
Was that ever named after her?
Shawn's bars dismount is probably the best dismount ever in UB history.
x2
Looking back on the Mag 7, specifically Amy Chow and Dominique Dawes-I really had no idea how difficult and how well those routines had aged.
Like I how you worte iconic behavior. And considering Aly raisman is my favourite I loved it
mckayla's 3.5 twist is pure art to watch
The fact that dawes did 4 layout step outs on a 4 inch beam in the 90s is so impressive to me, nowadays gymnasts stumble on a single layout
Lmao you calling it a “biles I” on vault cause know she’s gonna debut a second one
Jana Beiger = Ninja skills 😆 no lies detected 📉
“iconic behavior”❤️❤️❤️
“ninja skills”❤️❤️❤️
The ninja thing was amazing though. Beam routines are starting to get stiff and too much of the same stuff. That was so cool.
I love how you described aly's pass as iconic.
I knew before watching exactly which clips from Dawes and Bieger would be here. So original!
Shantessa Pama just can't do a normal dismount lol
IKR
Could never get enough of that BHS + LOSOx4 by Awesome Dawesome!
What's the difference between a Barani and a Grigorias?
Great vid, just one correction. 1:46 was not Jamie Dantzscher, it was Kristen Maloney!
This is a really cool series. If you do another you should add Mykayla Skinners backhand spring to arabian on beam and Jana Biegers double front off beam.
If I’m not mistaken, Mykayla Skinner has never done a back handspring to arabian on beam. Chellsie Memmel is the one who is currently training it. Maybe you’re thinking of Mykayla’s back handspring to full twisting back tuck on beam?
@@winnifredfredrickson6418 she did it at the 2013 classic
@@brodypenn Oh you’re right! I had never seen that before! Thanks for letting me know
i’ve never seen jana bieger’s double front
@@leapjumpsoar8049 It’s the only beam dismount she’s ever competed in elite.
3.5 twist, did that make anyone else’s brain hurt just watching that
They won’t give it an upgraded score from a triple so probably won’t see it again 😕
On 1:46 that is Kristen Maloney, not Jamie Dantzscher.
Just Simone things
Woooooo, that skill at 00:33 - ivana hong wow
00:33 best bar move ever!
It was Kristin Maloney .. not Jamie Dantzscher
I don’t know the rules. But can someone explain to me in details what separates a BACK PIKE from a back layout?
At 0.50 it says that Jada Carey does a Pike Back. But when I watch it in slow motion she is straight for a little more than 1/2 a somersault, and only there after pikes a little. Isn’t that just a layout with bad form?
Oh, the talent that was.
2:47 Ninja Skills with Jana Bieger was most impressive
Also that’s Kristen Maloney doing the whip to double lay not Jamie
I’d like to make a video request for a y turn and scorpion turn compilation. Thanks!
Histórico, só movimentos incríveis
I wanted to comment and I hope you see this comment because if you ever do interviews or something with a gymnast there is something very specific I am fascinated by. You get so few chances in gymnastics. How do (some of them) remain composed when they fall off the beam? How do they mentally prepare for this? The ones that jump right back on the beam without even showing a hint of that on their face to me are some of the most impressive athletes in all of sport. In football, if you get handed the ball and you get stopped for a 10 yard loss because you tried to take it wide and then cut back... You could still go for 80 yards on the next play. So many opportunities. But in gymnastics, those failures are amplified to such a degree. I'm fascinated to hear what gymnasts have to say on this topic and I definitely relate more to those that burst into tears practically than those that stay so composed.
0:33 ua-cam.com/video/QKDIG0BW8mk/v-deo.html This is one of my favorite reactions to a fall ever.
Éhhhh as estadunidenses são realmente boas em dificuldade..👏💪
What about lily lipeats full to double back
The overscore secret weapon
I cannot believe Kayla Williams did a Biles AND 1.5 twisting double tuck YEARS before either were done by anyone else but she was never credited
🌎🍃
LINDÍSSIMO
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Why put katelyn ohashi beam dismount when you can put her layout full series, which she does more often than the full in piked.
Nonetheless I love this content
And Dominic
Its fucking crazyyyyyy
And gabby
DOS SANTOS ??
Pama competed for Mexico, no?
Maloney, not Dantzscher.
This is not a Dos Santos II.
Maroney is doing her Gymnastics skills.
Isn’t that supposed to be a Dos Santos I?
1 is piked and 2 is laid out? Looked piked to me.
@@cookieaddictions Well, virtually all competed Dos Santos II’s are piked anyway. But that one is clearly a Dos Santos I.
Seolin Jung haha I guess it depends on what they consider “straight.” If it means perfectly straight then yes, but similar to the Moors, it seems like some judges consider straight to mean “straighter than piked.” But I agree on this particular skill, it was probably just labeled wrong in the video.
I think officials should demand silence from teams. The constant noise from teamates is annoying.
watch it on mute.
@@salreal4479 I tried. But, then, I don't have the music on floor and the athletes' sounds.
Don’t check out College gymnastics then, talk about loud, they don’t need cheerleaders that’s for sure... think it’s influencing Elite gymnastics now that the Karoylis of Eastern Europe aren’t involved anymore! FYI
Dude I’m eleven and can do a ondi on a trampoline ..... or a worley what ever u call it
anyone can do an onodi on the trampoline, try doing it on beam.
Nah Simone biles is good than her
