What I don't understand is... what do people consider NOT chessing the boss? It's a honest question, because it's really annoying that the main complaint when anybody beats a boss is "YOU CHESSED IT" You use summons, it's a cheese, you use a shield it's a cheese, you are a higher level it's a cheese, you use spells it's a cheese, you use bleeds it's a cheese, you use Dual 2h Jump attacks it's a cheese, you use health pots its a cheese. Peoples ego's for this game is beyond pathetic, they need to down play other peoples fun so they feel validated. Reality check, beating a video game shouldn't give you an ego boost, it's a video game designed to be beat. That's like celebrating for waking up in the morning or going to sleep at night.
Real and true
I think whenever you reduce the standard boss difficulty (either by summoning, using broken builds that do a lot of damage and shorten the fight, or create perma stagger setups) you can sort of call that cheesing. Think that's what people refer to. Now ofc everyone's free to beat the game however they want, after all these games are all about self accomplishment imo. Theres no reason not to abuse broken stuff put in the game, but restricting yourself from using some can make it a bit more respectable in the eyes of the community i guess.
Anything that allows a braindead player to kill a hard boss is cheese. e.g. Mimic tear, Blasphemous blade, Comet Azur, Impenetrable Thorns..., in my opinion bleed is only cheese in the context of a broken spell like impenetrable thorn, I could care less about status effects.
Dark Souls was never mistaken to be a "fun" game until Elden Ring. It is supposed to be difficult, infuriating, and full of despair and death. The idea of hope and perseverance in the face of this difficulty is the entire essence of these games. Mastery through failure is a beautiful thing and for souls vets to encourage you to appreciate and experience it has nothing to do with ego, in fact it is the antithesis.

Bandits blood curved sword bleed jump build is the most broken build in the game...congrats

This version of Radahn is so damn epic.
I genuinely thought it would take you a lot longer to beat radahn given the attempts at messmer, Love to see the improvement in gameplay and skill level you managed over the DLC good stuff Xar keep it up

He didn't power up off stream, research multiple builds to beat Messmer... makes a massive difference.

With most of the attacks, you should probably roll into him on his right. You’ll consistently get those dodges more and more. Also the holy beams are there so you don’t dodge away or run from the attacks, if you’re more aggressive you’ll get hit less.
Great stuff dude! I’m about to explore these weapons and give them a whirl.
Btw - random but you should try doing a little bit of acoustic treatment in that room. It will help with the “room” verb you hear coming through your mic. You sit kind of far back from it, which is fine, but usually you have to crank up the mic so much that it will pick up the sound of the room as well. Those SM7b’s are dynamic mics so they typically are meant to be close proximity.
Anywho… just a thought from someone who likes sound stuff 😅.
Try the scavengers instead mate they are better 👍
The curved swords does a 4 hit combo with the jump attack, the poleblades uses 6 hit combo

I suggest you try out the Great Epee with Blood Tax on blood affinity, with the white mask and lord of blood, rotten winged sword insignia, millicent's prosthesis and maybe the Shard of Alexander. The damage is really absurd and it also heals you every time you hit with your skill (blood tax). Give it a try !

Naw, the majority of the people want a new Fromsoft game, I've spent well over 400 hours into Elden Ring. I'm excited to see what they do next.

I used a summon but I did it with no shield. I'm just a 2 handed weapon player I don't care for control of both hands. The godskin peeler 139 blood loss build up. Was my winning weapon
Bleed is awesome plus investing in arcane helps soooooo much getting rare weapons.
Bru? Where are the fire spells at?! Challenge to do a combustion playthrough. Fire's deadly sin, flame sling, flame of the redmane....many options out there!
the first time i killed this boss was directly at ng+7... 2 shots were guaranteed death sometimes 1 was enough
i was lvl 150 using rivers of blood on left hand for the fire (needed to remove the frost) and uchigatana with chilling mist on right hand so i could spam frost bitten and bleed
and yet it took me almost 3h trying to kill this boss

@@overheatedeskim054 I don’t think you realise how much shields (shield poking in particular) trivialises the game .You litterally take zero damage from physical attacks and a miniscule amount from elemental attacks especially with the new talisman that increases elemental damage shield negation. You also take negligible stamina loss.
While shield poking you are essentially invincible and because you don’t have to avoid attacks (except for grabs and a few other attacks) you can kill bosses much faster than with most builds especially if you put bleed on your weapon.

What is the deal with Miqullea in the lore he's male when he's referred to he's a male Malaina calls him brother but he has woman's body woman's voice woman's style woman's facial features and wants Rahdan as his consort. So confusing
He's a little boy which explains the more female sounding voice and adolescent figure. As for having Radahn as his consort...that's a whole different ball game where he's apparently batting for the other team. Overall it's just a really weird bit of the lore. I guess From Soft realized they didn't have any homosexual vibes prior to the DLC.

Even if it wasn't pronounced "shadowtree fragments", it's not spelled "scadootree" it's spelled "scadutree". If pronounced phonetically it should be pronounced "scadUtree" (SCAD-yew-tree).

The mentality of phasing a boss in 3-4 jump attacks, and then proceeding to ponder if its worth maxing out his weapons or even contemplating whether or not he can kill the boss with those weapons, absolutely baffles me.
This is the noob mindset, you look at numbers, and whatever does the most damage with the least amount of effort, but if you actually LEARNED how to fight something, and made use of your other options outside of "Big hit does big damage", then you wouldnt need to rely on bleed, or summons, or spirits, or some other easy peasy mechanic to abuse, you say you didnt cheese the boss, but ironically you cheesed the ENTIRE GAME with your build and playstyle, you have the most easily abused build and playstyle in the entire game, being double seppuku jump attack bleed twinblades, ANY jump attack bleed build is instant cheese, you barely fought anything, you barely learned anything, you just learned that "Jump do big bonk"
dont get me wrong, this boss is obnoxiously difficult, but after taking 11 hours for me to beat it myself, and to have learned it, its really not as bad as people make it out to be, i was mostly dying to me getting hit by the easy stuff, surprisingly none of the BS in the second phase was the reason for me dying, just getting hit by normal swings, the holy damage barely does any damage if you use a holy damage negation liver, or spell, or even a talisman

i was the same man, NG+7, even with +20 blessing, itll force you to learn the fights, i was on +17 wen i beat radahn, he was the only boss that made me cave in and use fragments, i was at +0 for everything els, Bayle was second hardest, and funny enough, the pvp fight before radahn :D
even though you're washed with a kid. You did it solo, you couldn't have bigger nuts. Solo players are king, summons users fail at life

@@overheatedeskim054 Summons = Co-op , you do you mate, but id say its infinitely easier to hit the boss in the back when a mimic of yourself takes aggro, i used them on my first playthrough and when i went back and completed it natty, i understand why people say it robs you of an authentic experience
you really have low standards dont you, hes on regular NG with 19 fragments, and using the easiest spammable build in the entire game, there are no nuts to be found here.
