I absolutely love your videos, Ash! And I also love the Palo Santo sticks, I’ve been using them for quite a while to cleanse my apartment of any negative energy. And it smells so good too keep up the good work!
Your plans for the kitchen sound wonderful. As the house probably had originally. And I agree about the colour in the hall and stairs.Darker is restful and in keeping with the house.I love your courage and respect for the house and garden
Well Hello there Mr. Ash. I'm Sabrina. I have got to tell you a couple things my dear. I absolutely adore your use of color. Why people shy away from bold and dramatic palettes is beyond me. Side note: I like your vision of the color drench in the main room, it would make the room far more intimate. Also, the kitchen is a piece of art. Well done! I just redecorated my entire home in a Victorian Era theme, with a twist. So far it's been three years, only have 3 rooms to finish and a stairway to one of my suites. I am so happy to have found you. Looking forward to more of your videos. S.
I am so happy I found your channel. I love your house and your taste is very similar to mine. I'm also always altering and tweaking things in my house. I will look forward to seeing more videos from you. I would volunteer to do some painting for you especially if you were keeping me company but I live a long way from you and I have a very demanding job.
What a lovely vlog. A super mix of house and day-in-the-life with a good dollop of realism too (that kitchen supplier needs to be named and shamed). Looking forward to more from you. 🎉
The only person that can rival my speed and desire for tweaking the house 😂 Absolutely love the house so far really interested to see what's coming up!
Please be careful with the plug in air freshner. They were known to over heat and start a fire. The fire brigade recommend they are switched off and unplugged if you go out.
you are too funny, especially with the flies lol 😂... looking forward to seeing what you do with the kitchen, agreed that there is a lot of wasted space and it could be set up better. Loving that deep red colour.
I absolutely love what you did to the house, both indoor and outdoor, so I'm really looking forward to many more videos on home content. I wish you'd come and re-design my 1960s house! By the way, the gaps near the hob would bother me a lot. Good luck with the new project😊
Such a cute garden. You might want to consider a bigger pot for your jasmine if you can't put it in the ground, the bigger the better, it will really struggle in a pot so small (I've been there done that 😅)
I know nothing about cabinet companies in England. If you deal with a cabinet company with standard sizes they are limited in what they can do. Suffice to say, a good installer could have cut down a filler and fixed that gap. I find your kitchen interesting an fun.
Hi Ash - love following your channel. Just curious with the renovation of the kitchen - you removed the conservatory but does that maybe lose that extra space for the kitchen cooking area / storage / eating area etc. Most people are trying to extend their kitchens and add that extra square footage. Is there any plan to gain extra space?
Dude your real problem with the kitchen is that you didnt extend it to the diner and then separate than from front/living room. I had a house exactly your floor plan and it totally worked.
@@ashmazzina whether you keep the existing kitchen diner area, I understand. However, having it all open plan with front sitting room I think actually makes house feel much smaller as having two separate but cosy rooms really does work better.
"no one knows about this." i think as a rule of thumb that if you've just discovered something relating to smudging or burning a plant for spiritual reasons that there's a 10000% chance that an indigenous or ethnic group has been using that thing for centuries. *stares at grandma's palo santo stick and sage*
I dig those groovy red cabinets! They are beautiful

Can I say that im obsessed with your lamps! And your living space in general ❤
Thank you! My lamp collection is forever growing 😂

Thanks so much! 😊 all I’ll say is I’ve painted it darker now and love it!

Thank you so much! Love that we share the same taste, don’t worry I’ll get round to finishing the painting one day 😂
Thank-you for filming the beautiful sunset in the.D.R.
Glad you enjoyed it
Ash you have like the most beautiful face ❤
Love your content, especially the way you organize the frames on the wall 😍
Thank you 😂❤️
Lovely skin too ❤
Another lovely video. The garden is looking beautiful.
So nice of you, thank you ☺️
Beautiful home! May i ask where you purchased the gorgeous lamp behind you at the beginning of the video. I'm looking for one just like it x😊
So talented! Born Interior Designer!!
Very kind of you! Thank you ☺️
I enjoyed this vlog, especially the cooking part! Day in my life is the best!
Thank you! I’ll definitely do some more cooking/ day in the life ❤️

❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh, much more garden 🪴
Will do 🫶🏻✨
Sounds good. Miss the puppy ❤️🐶
Lots of fun watching you in the kitchen and garden, as well as your trip to the antique shop. Wishing you luck with new color choices. ❤
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed ❤️

Thanks for the tip! We normally always have someone in the house but do take it out if not 😊
I want to watch your videos until the end of my life 😂❤❤
😂❤️
Farrow & Ball should be your permanent sponsor!!
Hi Ash! (It’s Lisa from NY again!) Love the video! For kitchen.. look at Zellige tile. Hand baked, each tile is different. Worth the extra $$!
Yes, zellige tiles are great! I’ll be getting a lot of samples so I’ll be asking for opinions soon 😂
you are too funny, especially with the flies lol 😂... looking forward to seeing what you do with the kitchen, agreed that there is a lot of wasted space and it could be set up better. Loving that deep red colour.
Me too!! Lots to plan but exciting to think about ☺️
The flies: so thankful that you let them out rather than reaching for the spray or swatter 👏
Also check out Polhill and Coolings down in Sevenoaks. Lovely garden centres and huge!
Added to my list! Thank you
Ash where is your beige/off-white sofa from? Is it comfy? Looks great!

So nice to hear! Maybe one day 😉 thank you for agreeing 😂😉
A couple I watch on You Tube went to Devol...the service and instinct of the designer was spot on
They’re another level!
Such a cute garden. You might want to consider a bigger pot for your jasmine if you can't put it in the ground, the bigger the better, it will really struggle in a pot so small (I've been there done that 😅)
It barely fit in to the pot when we were planting it haha, I am looking for more! Thank you
All I can say is that I would love a house just like yours (or, to live in yours😊)!
Amazing transformation. Cape Town 🇿🇦
Thank you! 👋🏼🇬🇧
Have you visited one of the Devol showrooms? Sounded like you had. I think your plans for the kitchen will look good. Great video again.
Not yet, I’ve been wanting to for a while so might make a trip! Glad you agree, thank you! ☺️
Not seeing this bathroom being painted lol! Honestly this is me, l need to perform this odious task. Million other tasks completed to avoid it.
Please make more videos I finally found someone whose aesthetics are so similar to mine. 🫶🏻
There will be one every week 🤞🏼 love that we share the same taste 🫶🏻
Fabulous ❤
Thank you ❤️
I agree, change the kitchen!
Project incoming 👏🏼

Your gallery wall in your sitting room looks great but its askew. Is that the effect you wanted?
Was that a “what are we doing now?” in a norn Iron accent?? Love from Bangor!
You seem totally relaxed in this vlog..!!..! I must say, I like it..! Not so ‘posh’ and unapproachable..! Perfectly delightful, I must admit..! ❤❤❤❤ x
I have to admit it’s hard to give personality talking to yourself / a camera but I think I’m getting used to it 😅 thank you! ❤️

so what does this dude do for work - other than go shopping and painting his little cottage 😉😉
Honestly great question 👀😂
That's what I have wondered from the start. I have a suspicion that this house is in fact the day job ❓❗😉
Ash, please consider putting some small silk shades on the chandelier bulbs. It will help soften the glow in the room.
I’ll look into it, thank you!
Curious to know if others find the sound and movement are not in sync. Is it just me ?
Missed the small toilet. Where is it?
But Ash, where is your Neptune Apron?! X
😂
Dude your real problem with the kitchen is that you didnt extend it to the diner and then separate than from front/living room. I had a house exactly your floor plan and it totally worked.
We didn’t want to do a side extension, maybe in the future as it would be a better functioning space!
@@ashmazzina whether you keep the existing kitchen diner area, I understand. However, having it all open plan with front sitting room I think actually makes house feel much smaller as having two separate but cosy rooms really does work better.
I'm obsessed with the lamp in the background in the living room. Where is it from?
Me too, it’s from a tiny shop in Florence Italy, they don’t have a website I’m afraid 🙃
@@ashmazzina oh no! Now I have to go to Florence 😆
Your videos are so enjoyable. Be careful with scents and oils in your home, they can make pets very sick.
Thanks for the tip! We only use natural fragrance oils so haven’t had any issues with Dougal

Your point…?
I’ve known about it for years, and every time I mention it to someone, they don’t know about it 🤷🏻♂️
We need to find you a level young man, the prints on your walls are all wonky. I'm the same way, I have a terrible time hanging anything straight!
😂 they’re as straight as I could get them haha
You are rich.
