Teen with Scoliosis Aspires to Inspire Others

When Ka‘iulani first learned she had scoliosis, she feared everything would change in a bad way. But the team at Shriners Hospitals for Children - Honolulu made the experience a positive one for the teen and her family. From bracing services to physical therapy, everything they needed was at the Honolulu Shriners Hospital. And her care team was always there to answer every question and ease any concerns. Now, Ka‘iulani wants to be a role model and help kids who have scoliosis so they know that they don’t need to be scared and that they’re strong enough to get through it.

@@kritikagupta9269 I don’t think so after a certain amount, they recommend surgery Don’t be worried if you have to get one. The doctors at sShriners hospital for children that I know. Are amazing I have had Dr. Lerman and Roberto at Shriners hospital for children Sacramento. California.

Actually, no, no unless you have a very small amount even then I don’t think I would ever help only a brace or surgery
