    Grape seed + jojoba oil cleared my skinnnn . Grape seed doesn’t make it oily and my poor got smaller . I’ll never buy regular face moisturizer again . Every product I used broke me out in cystic acne , I’m sooo impressed with my even skin tone and soft texture .

    I tried a few oils so far. Rosehip, jojoba, grapeseed, tamanu. I have combi acne prone skin. So, here's my thoughts. Rosehip is most light weight. It is almost non oily at all. Good to apply and go outside. Wont hv to shine. Haha. Tamanu is smelly too bad.. Too heavy. Maybe apply at night?

      I was not a fan of tamanu either, in spite of many great reviews. We are all different and perhaps this is just not our oil. We should not push what feels wrong.

    Hello, I'm having some trouble I started oil cleansing a little over a week ago with jojoba oil, rose hip seed oil, tea tree oil, and Frankensense oil. It was fine at first and now I'm breaking out is this "the purge" or am i having a reaction? I've moisturized with jojoba oil after I cleansed my face for a out 9 months prior to OCM and I've spot treated with tea tree oil as well never had a problem.. I have combination a d acne prone skin if any of that info helps. I just really need some help I'm starting to get insecure about my skin again and I'm not sure what to do, should I keep going for another week and risk my skin scarring and see if it helps or should I completely stop and try another oil? I'm desperate please someone help me.

      You're likely had a bad reaction as you don't really purge when it comes to oils, unlike actives such as bha, aha, retinol etc.

      We are all different, if your skin does not like the oil - stop using it.
      There is no ONE cure for all to treat acne.
      Depending on how severe your acne is, you may try differin gel as a last resort (for severe acne), after consulting with a dermatologist.

    Would you recommend using Grapeseed Oil for oil cleansing? I tried mixing it with castor oil for my own oil cleanse but my skin dried out too much with the castor oil but I’m not sure if the grapeseed oil is enough to remove the top layer of my makeup?!

    • @ComfortLifeChannel
      @ComfortLifeChannel  4 роки тому +1

      Hello! I do not know what your skin type is and what you are using the oils for.
      These oils might be great, but I would not recommend to use them in the long run if you have or may be at some point develop dehydrated skin. Here is the reason:
      they bring moisture to skin, but not water. So they help to keep water in, but if your skin needs hydrating - the oils will not be able to do so, as they do not contain water.
      Hope this helps!

      Hello! It can be used with niacinamide; as for the treatment, it will help your skin to heal, but I would add aloe vera leaf gel on the spot twice a day and a good quality BHA lotion. Depending on what you mean by "old" mark, some pimple marks take 3-6 months to disappear. I hope this helps!

    Can I mix grapeseed and almond oil for a serum? I have oily acne prone skin

    • @ComfortLifeChannel
      @ComfortLifeChannel  4 роки тому +6

      Hello! For acne-prone skin, I would use this:
      Blend the following ingredients using a blender:
      4 oz aloe vera gel
      4 oz grapeseed or jojoba oil
      32 drops frankincense essential oil
      16 drops tea tree oil
      8 drops sandalwood oil
      This recipe is a bit more complicated, but you will get the treatment for blemishes using it. You will need to invest in the ingredients, but again they will go a long way and for other purposes. For example, you may use jojoba oil to remove makeup or just before washing your face, you may add essential oils to a bath, face/body wash. You may prepare your own tonic or astringent using these oils. And just make body oil. I hope this helps. Any questions, let me know

      Coconut oil can literally cook on your face when exposed to sunlight (remember that it's also used for cooking) it's very heavy and fatty too so you should probably use it sparingly at night or rinse off after some time unless your skin is dry. She said this oil helps with acne healing so it should lighten scars, and not darken them. Also, pleeeeeeease use sunscreen. Hope this helps :)
