If I have a block with stripped out head screws, I just tap it for the next screw size up and drill out the cooling head holes for same and viola, I keep on burnin' nitro! (This advice is for experienced users only!)
Unfortunately I don't have that luxury as those parts take up 23 months to come in sometimes this is Canada no the United States now absolutely dump on fire. Lol
I actually run a pro 15 with 1 stripped still keeps tickn and good. Will get 2 it when its a problem i guess. I do same go 1 size up sae or metric which ever doesnt matter just not 2 big ah 😉
Yo bug, I have a 3.3 slash 2wd and I want to replace the carb for another that's not plastic. What do you suggest? I'd like something that's not too expensive but fairly easy to adjust and get a baseline tune. What is your suggestion?
Yup. Just Lucas air tool oil. 1qt bottles are 10$ will last you 20 years way cheaper and you get more then the hobby shop. Witch rips you off. You don't need exotic stuff for nitro engines.
Nice video Luke!
How I’d love to have a rummage around your parts bin I bets it’s a real treasure trove 😂👍👍
I replaced my broken header on my 3.3 and changed plug to the OS .What a big difference. Thank you for your tips my friend really..
Right on! Glad you got it all sorted out! It's usually just little stuff that makes the biggest difference 🍻💯🤘🏻
LoL I’m glad you were finally able to get it all back together 🎉 Though tough at times, the process is always fun
Nice work and thanks for the Vid 💯
Yeah I was almost sad because it was starting not to look good haha but I will have a run video soon! Thanks for watchin!
All good things come to those who keep moving forward.

Yea love the videos always.
Hell yeah! Success! Beer time! 🍺
Oh yeah I forgot I do believe you can still get new TRX.15 from traxxas there about $120 bucks
Nice! I will look into it! 👌🏻🍻
Glad you figured out the block was shot haha
would you happen to know how many times (roughly) you've rebuilt the pro 15?
Oh man probably 12+ haha
What would be a good header pipe for a nitro rustler with the dynamite 19
Not sure. Whatever fits the best
Some parts still lived on. Rather have my old shit last forever then buy new 1. Some times just becomes fun to keep punishn them 😂
Agreed buddy! 👌🏻😎
I have a nice one of those in a box.
What's thst? A pro 15?
Yes a pro 15. I will send ya a pic

Really only two options unfortunately the stock carb or the OS 11K carburetor is what you got to work with. I have been looking but no luck yet 🍻💯
I figured I was screwed. Do you know a drop in replacement for the 3.3? Nitro slash? Which I converted into a monster slash sort of.
@@mikehollingsworth3814 you can go Dynamite 19 or os 21tm witch are designed for Traxxas cars and trucks.
You use those oils as after run oil ?
