also i would like to see some kind of tutorial for interested beginners also about the menu, game modes, how to start etc.. i'm interested because you're interested, but i see this game and i'm totally lost.
The cinematography of 1:00:00 onwards was incredible. The music sold that heck out of that slow pan. This game is just too much. I often find myself getting distracted just watching the absolutely glorious destruction in combination with the amazing soundtrack
What makes the TA and SupCom lineage of games attractive to me is the fact that they give more emphasizes to strategic decisions on a larger-scale and base building than the overall sweatiness of SC2´s micro.
i have picked up this game lately, i enjoy it, but man i always struggle with my economics, usually i end up so far behind, that by the time i can actually help my teammates they've finished half of either the enemy side or ours.
Use rezbots and Build an necromancer army when an wave over extend and die Is one of the fastest ways to build an wall force and edge over attrition battle
What is the music in the beginning? Is it just the BAR soundtrack or some playlist? Edit: Okay, I recognized some SC2 songs in the mix, so I guess it is some playlist/mix. Anyone know which one?
Eeeeeyyyyy I think i saw this game already. Total Annihilation Cast I think did a game with Winter on this map, I'm assuming it's the same one. Once again, happy to see BAR content :D I was barely poking at this game but you playing it has kicked me in the rear to give it the time it deserves and I'm having a blast. Still garbage at it, don't let me fool anyone, but having fun XD
It's not out officially. It is technically in alpha but as you see it is more than playable. It's also open source, meaning free, developed by players.
there is a hyper competitive community of full sweaties, its extremely complex and often garners 100+ in game spectators at the highest level in tournament.
You were lacking energy through all of the game. Even late game, every time one of your defense structures or cannon fired you dropped back to just 120 metal income.
you really dont need the icons to be shown at such a close range... You should use fight command for longer ranged units instead of move(even t1 rocket bots that outrange light laser towers). Also remember that having units just standing around doing nothing is a waste . usually means u made the wrong units for the situation or ur just not harassing enemy when u could be. Also rez bots are op as hell. They literally make u units right on the font line and it only costs energy. its just free resources. they are also very good at supporting a pushing line by repairing units as they are taking damage. Id say most good players dont use unit groups. There are two shortcuts that are very useful for fast intense games. ctrl + z which selects all units of the selected units types on the map. and another which is not default and selects all units of the selected units type curently visible on the screen. This combination provides tons of flexibility.
I like how we graduated from HUGE scale RTS to EPIC scale RTS
Last one was a 4v4, this one is an 8v8.
Maps differ a TON in size actually. The smallest is I think 8x8 while the biggest is like 30x30
That was a truly epic game.
Those panning shots towards the end with the music was so fitting.
An hour long Ken Burns acid trip that Amazon with all it's billions couldn't produce.
Yes!!!!!!!! MORE!!!!!!! THIS GAME IS SO COOL. Please make guides/commentary once you get more comfortable

Yall could have learned the game already.
@Imaginary Enemy tbf I've played for like 12 hours and I still don't know how to hotkey the permanently produce command. There's so many buttons.

Played some 8v8 last night for like 9 hours strait, epic af. Whata game.
Yea, so easy to say "just one more game" without realizing each one is a hr long Haha
Greens unit production was just insane throughout the game, it always seemed like he had 3x your units till the nukes came
Suicide pact? Is that what we did at the end there?
🤣
Thx winter, now the servers can't handle how many people are playing.
Epic game
love the content and great driving! The sound is so peaceful
Thanks for the video, this was a really fun watch! I love the PvP matches
Commenting to promote. Enjoy your content. Keep it up and good luck!

Could you make some BAR content in your main channel? Just to make more awareness for this AWESOME game. I will never know this RTS without you.

That was a brutal slog at the end.
What an epic game winter wow
That was rough. GG. Let's see more
You can Queue units while the factory is still building
I still need to get my metal supply under control.
Love the game! Glad you are covering it. Also hate the game, but only because of my ADHD brain
Epic.
Really starting to like games on this map.
how do you build the double row of wind turbines?
Shift + alt
Idk about everyone else but I'm starved for BaR content 😢😅😂
When did this game come out? I only remember supreme commander 2

what does a 1v1 look like? is it practical/fun, or is the game made for large teams?

Yep, energy is a resource you always want to have a slight overflow for.
Hey Winter. Keep making these videos. I like them.
Do it or else Ill send some strongly worded emails to you. It will be slightly inconveniencing.
a bearable nuisance you say?
@@SansSentiments A manageable trouble even
YO! Is my bro dissing Age of Empires?
Not cool, man. Not cool.
1:00:17 epicness starts

This is a cool game but it's hard to tell what's going on. It seems like it's mostly just dots moving around the screen.
