What you can do is to ensure that you treat them fairly and make sure you don't have a clear favourite like in the care of Isaac & Rebecca or Jacob & his 2 wives.
I don't think you can have two objects and value them the same, you might say the both are your favourite, but you'll often consciously or unconsciously prefer one of them to the other in a lot of scenarios or circumstances
