I had a partner for 29 years and he died of lung cancer 8 years ago and I still cry

My Hubby Died 3 years ago and we were together 15 years I still miss him everyday but i knows he's around me
I lost my only child a daughter to lung cancer 2 yrs ago! Luck Cancer! I know how you feel I cry all the time sending you prayers, love and a virtual 🫂 ❤️

This hit home. I lost my husband 2 years ago in a similar way, and it has forever changed me. I still see the pain in this man’s eyes, but in the same breath, i see the hope too. Thank you for sharing this.

I met Dallas briefly in passing on a gay cruise, and I can absolutely tell you this. He is is a class act.
He is such a nice guy. And how awful people still can be today and age. 😔 As a depression sufferer for decades, it is such a difficult sickness and unfortunately many times lethal. I have tried all meds and tried electric shocks to brains 12 times etc. I wish him all the best. ❤from Finland

My heart absolutely broke when he talked about finding his partner on the floor. What an emotional and very-well done interview. Very brave to share this tragedy with others and the interview was expertly handled by Matt.
Was his partner having some sort of floor "activity?" I admit, I didn't get to see the whole video.
His partner died and was found on the floor after having a medical event. He came home and found him on the floor. EMTs said he had passed away hours before he was found.

I had a partner OD and it's awful. The grief of losing them and the life you thought you were going to have. I had no rights either. My heart goes out to him. He's just so genuine and sweet.
I can’t get over the story of that wife dying of Lupus. “Will having him make you happy.” I’m just floored at how powerful love is and I hope one day to be loved like that. Another incredible interview!

There is more to him & his beautiful story. I think he should write a book. He’s touching on so many points many gay men feel / experience. “The fear of homelessness is real” hits so, so hard. The work ethic + dedication to one’s career yet not feeling rewarded (news). Loosing a partner, ppl deny the value of that relationship…

Jim was the news anchor for a local television station here in Beaumont TX. I remember he had some issues with some people on Facebook for speaking his truth.He was a great news anchor.
If TV rating weren’t important to higher ups.. the man is still a tv anchor

Wow, I love this man. Have been a fan but never realized what a smart, real and vulnerable person he is. I look at him and think this is someone who is so lucky. Someone who has been given so many gifts in life. I’m jealous. But in reality, He’s just struggling like the rest of us. Sweet man.

The little fluffy mic is meant for outdoors. Get a wireless Rode mic and attach it to your guest's shirt.

Good interview. I know of Dallas, but haven't had a conversation with him. It was good to hear his back story. And it was weird that UA-cam kept bleeping out words. Someone there needs to grow up.
Matt would have edited out the words as it would stop the video getting monetised. The UA-cam bot picks up on certain keywords and will bury the video so it gets hardly any views. And demonetises it. For example, you can't use suicide but instead say unlife. It's ridiculous!
Another great interview Matt, I agree with all the comments people have left about your style and humanity. Mr. Steele is an entertaining performer, I’m a fan, but more than that, he’s an honest, warm man. You both delivered a worthwhile video!

What an amazing man. I used to think to myself that these God's must have insanely incredible lives because they're gorgeous and , what I thought , rich! But life throws sh*t at everyone. Legrand Wolf has a few very open discussions about his failures and rebuilding his studio. Matt's interview with Dallas humbled me about how I still judge a book by its cover. Well done.

The actions of his partner's family prove that mattiage equality was necessary.
