- Hi everyone! Estonia national final Eesti Laul 2024 for Eurovision 2024 released the songs already in December, was one of the first national selections to do it. I started making this top 20 2 weeks ago and now, when there's only one week left to the semi final of Eesti Laul, I decided to upload it. It's a top with comments, I tried to explain my opinion in my style.

Ollie‘s song might be about a breakup, but it‘s more likely that it‘s actually about loss and grief, seeing the vocabulary he‘s using.
He confirmed that it is about someone who was really close to him and who sadly isn't here with us anymore.

He pretty much convinced me evenly much as last year. I just love how this song builds up and how hard hitting it is.

This one will ofc. massively rely on how its performed. But for now this song is just epic and my Pick I want to see at Eurovision.

Well, I guess it fits in the theme of loss someone or something overall. Actually, how do you know it? And how the line "Will you be there when I stop breathing" correlates with this?
He said in an interview on ERR it was about that subject matter. And about that line I kinda thought at first it was about sui_ and I still think it has links to that theme within the song!

Ah yes I was sure you will put 5MIINUST & Puuluup 1st and i have to admit that their song is soooooo good!
They're among my favorite with Daniel Levi, Ingmar, Cartoon & Ewert Sundja and maybe Cecilia (but as you said it depends of the live performance)

😮😮 Wow surprised from Estonian selection . At least half of them could be in my playlist but I liked 3rd and 8th songs
Yes! I love seeing Dreaming so high! I love the guys voice and it was one of the first to go on my spotify playlist! Also we agree on our winner :D
I agree with Ollie. Last year I was also 101% with Meelik or Bedwetters. But this year I’m on the other fan favorite team, 5miinust & puuluup by a landslide!🇪🇪 Btw also Ingmar❤
Finally someone who likes Dreaming. It is such an epic entry. I get why it is not overly liked by fans because it is really intense but that is whyI love it. The song is so epic and I love it.
Overall Eesti Laul is amazing this year as it always is. For me it is weaker than it was in the past but still really great.
I don't know, I liked Eesti Laul in 2021, but in 2022 and 2023 they were really underwhelming, especially in the live performances. So I definitely prefer this year to 2022 and 2023

Well, I personally hate Ingmars song, I just find it absolutely pretentious... Same top 2 here though!
