Now about the idea that "it is cheaper than buying the game outright". Yes it would be true if the game is brand new (a month or few weeks old but Sony doesn't believe in that ideology apparently) or if you plan to play the game only once. Let's say I bought the last of us part 2 for Rs 600 on a sale. I could play that forever for that one time 600 whenever I want. But if I get it through plus "free" games, I would be paying Rs. 500 for this month and If I want to play it next month another 500 if I want to play it 4 or 5 months later another 500 and so on until it ends up far more expensive than if bought individually.

Yup, that happened to me. I downloaded the game AC Vahalla one day with the PlayStation Plus premium, and one day I wanted to play it, and it showed a little locked Im like, bruh, wtf. I didn't understand at first why it showed that, but I eventually knew what that meant
