I’ve put 120k on my 12 2500 and have only done brakes, battery and water pump, idk where the hate comes from. If you follow maintenance schedule and take care of your truck it will last
Great info...Would love to see videos on the other pickups out there. Tacoma, GMC, Silverados, Fords. But I am a dodge girl. and plan on buying a used ram in the near future...so this was great info for me. I might reconsider buying a Ram now.
I drive a 96 dodge ram 1500. Its old and needs engine rebuilt and transmission now but i have owned it since 99. I love my truck. It has a stick on the column and nothing that talks to me. LOL
Lies. I just started having that problem with the steering wheel control. 2015 ram 1500 . Gave them the vin. The dealers mechanic states no recall on your vehicle. I was telling them its teh same issue with the recalls. But he states well probably not enough complaints soo no recall warranty. So now im stuck with repairs.

Good stuff. A lot of these are applicable to the 3rd gen 1500/5.7’s, too.

Thanks for the video, but not really a Dodge fan! They used to have that Ram hood ornament for several years by the way.
I already had to replace the engine after owning it two years 🙄🤯
Are the 1500 better from 2016-2020?
Yes ,I got 2018 ram 1500 with 264,000 miles on it with no issues with engine and transmission, just keep the basics maintenance and all good
Dodge! Gotta get outta its way
#1 problem, it's a dodge. Love the early 90s and older though. Dad had a 1963 sweptline slant 6 with 3 on the tree. Couldn't kill that thing.

That tie-rod is part of a recall and needs to be replaced, use one for a 2019 model year to fix it right. Also these are 4th gen trucks not 3rd.
He says 4th but description says 3rd.

maybe the mechanic is the issue. try another dealership.
Avoid dodge 😂
Everything except for the Cummins motor.
Sounds convincing, I’ll stick with Ram.
I had a 2012 with the 6.7 Cummins, , worst truck I've ever owned!
2009-2018 is 4th gen
