You made this tutorial just in time for my daughter's birthday she said that's the only cakes you wanted was a go cake so thank you so much for sharing and keep on caking
Assalamualaikum, Mariam. Here after a long time but never disappointed.. Mariam, as usual this geode cake was also amazing. I've never baked anything as I merely go to kitchen let alone cook something but whenever I start I swear it'll be with your videos. Also happy to see you've crossed 60k & hope to see u having million subscribers very very soon inshallah. Take love ❤️
Wassalaam Shanta! Aww you are too kind, thank you so much for your lovely comments, I really appreciate your support :). And all the best for when you start baking/cooking - I am sure you'll do great! :D
Wow amazing!! Love your videos 😍 A question: can we re-use the remaining sugar syrup in the bowl after we have waited 2 weeks by placing a new steuere?
Thank you so much! And yes you can reuse the sugar syrup, however you will need to re-heat it and add more sugar to it (perhaps another 1/3rd of the original amount) to replace the sugar that was used to create the initial rock candy. Hope that makes sense :)
I love your video and you teach so well and detailed..... I want to ask, can the rock be stored if i didn't finish using it, and how can it be stored or preserved please?
Where did you place your jars for the two weeks whilst waiting for the rock candy to grow? I also would like to know if the remaining syrup can be reused?
Hi there! I just placed them on a counter (at room temperature). And yes you can reuse the sugar syrup, however you will need to re-heat it and add more sugar to it (perhaps another 1/3rd of the original amount) to replace the sugar that was used to create the initial rock candy. Hope that makes sense :)
MK, i love your videos! you are so admirable! i wondered if it is possiblr to crush up some lollipops and use them as rock candy? i have a cake to make in a few days and i dont have enough time to make the candy crystals. love you so much!
Hi Josie! So glad to hear you're enjoying the videos :D And yes I imagine you could totally do this! Sorry I was late to respond, hope your cake went well :D
Hello😆 your ingredients and the method sounds simple I really want to try it out. I just want to know that, will it be okay if I use liquid food colouring?😬
You're welcome! Yes you can reuse it, but you will need to heat it again and add another cup or so of sugar to it to replace the sugar that was used to create the crystals :)
LOL! This is a common way people grow crystals and I have many times with success so definitely not lying :) perhaps you do not have enough crystals on your skewer when you first place it into the jar? If you let me know your exact process then maybe I can help you out :)
I love your video and you teach so well and detailed..... I want to ask, can the rock be stored if i didn't finish using it, and how can it be stored or preserved please?

I have a question can we use a metal sewer will it change the consistency

For Geode cakes should we just put sugar into the jar? It looks like that made more than the one with the sugar on the skewer?
Can I reuse the water-sugar solution for another rock candy after removing the previous one
You're Amazing
Can we reuse the remained syrup again to make the crystal rock
That's nice
MK, i love your videos! you are so admirable! i wondered if it is possiblr to crush up some lollipops and use them as rock candy? i have a cake to make in a few days and i dont have enough time to make the candy crystals.

Can thr sugar syrup be reused or will it go to waste?

Should we check the temperature of the sugar mixture before removing from heat?
You don't need to as long as all the sugar crystals are dissolved it will be fine :)
@@CakesbyMK thats fine then. Thankyou! Can't wait to try this⭐
Hello😆 your ingredients and the method sounds simple I really want to try it out.
I just want to know that, will it be okay if I use liquid food colouring?😬
Hi there! I have tried with liquid food colouring but I imagine it should be fine :)
Beautiful cake and so great colors. Are you a professional baker or is it self tought?
Thank you so much! :D And I am self taught :)
Lovely you make it look so simple. Can this be used on whipped cream cake? Thanks
Thank you so much! :) And yes you should be able to use this technique on whipped cream cakes :)

Yess! :)
Hi there, when making rock candy how long do stir the water and sugar mixture and do you let it boil and if so for how long?
Hi there! You just need to mix it until the sugar is completely dissolved - it doesn't need to boil :)
Thanks a lot 😍
You re amazing
