The particular set of pipes the guy in this bedroom uses are of modern German design that are supposedly from the medieval period, but there has been no real evidence that pipes like that ever existed. They sound awesome though.

I've only been to Lindholm Høje once before and thought "well, if that wouldn't be a nice spot for a viking market". Didn't know at the time there was one.

Yeah, what a great festival! Amazing reenactment, all those details, great clothings, and such an effort to build up this cool camp! It is good to slow down, and celebrate the history and traditions in these frantic modern days. Your place looks really cozy as always 😊

This looks like a great gathering of like minded people. Here in the UK we have similar events but the beer tent is always the centre point for socialising.

I've only been to Lindholm Høje once before and thought "well, if that wouldn't be a nice spot for a viking market". Didn't know at the time there was one.
