Cimbrer camp, fire, special coffee😉, knives and axes, Cornelius and Tom..doesn't get more manly or better than this. Wonderful video my Viking brother, great collection of steel, wood and leather. We should cherish our origins as much as you do, very commendable. Thanks Tom for another great time in Cimbrer camp. See you next time.
Thanks for joining us out in CimbrerCamp Terry 😁👍🏻🏕🔥🐕🍻and for watching my videos every time 🇩🇰
Tom
Tom, you have quite a fine collection of knives and axes. I remember when you got a lot of them. It was great coming out to camp and seeing you and Cornelius . And Cornelius does look nice after his haircut. Until the next adventure, have a great one, my brother.

I remember well I think it was A year or so ago you lost one of your favorite knives. The one you had around your neck. You were a little heart broken when you could not find it. Love the collection of axes and knives , thanks for sharing them with use.
Ohhh yeah 😏 and you remember that 👍🏻 Thanks for the feedback and support
Appreciate having you onboard Paul 🏕🔥🐕

Hi Tom,
Thank you for showing your Viking stuff ! I own the Helle Viking Knife and i love it, a really good knife. I think about to buy a Roselli Grandfather Knife, with the reindeer skin on the birch sheath. It's so beautiful. I like Chaga tea !
So, great Video again !
Have a nice sunday evening and best wishes, Markus 🙋🏼♂️
Thanks Markus for the feedback 😁👍🏻 and I can only recommend the Roselli knife 💪🏻 it’s awesome. Glad you chose to visit us again in CimbrerCamp 🏕🔥

Thanks Mirko for your kind feedback 😁👍🏻I’m glad you liked my video and grateful to see you again in my 🏕🔥🐕🌲
Tom
Some of your exhibits deserve to be called works of arts, I particularly clicked on that knife with a bird head carved on the handle tip, I would say: pommeau in French. Great craftsmanship. 🥇🏆🎯
Yeah it’s a beautiful knife 😁👍🏻 and glad you like it too. Thanks for the feedback 🏕🔥
Tom
Thanks Tom for another interesting video. I love knives and hatchets. I have a collection of both. I just recently restored a Plum hatchet that was made in 1944. 🔪🎸
Ahhh vintage 😉👍🏻 I love those things and thanks for watching my new video 🤗🏕🔥🐕
Tom
thanks Tom other great video enjoy learning about your viking culture my brother in law is from Denmark 🇩🇰 I have a lot of good times with him learned alot of him about Danish culture I find your video's relaxing looking forward to the next one wish you the best on all collaborations and your adventures
Thanks Mark 🤗 that’s so kind of you my friend and I appreciate every time you drop by in my CimbrerCamp 🏕🔥🇩🇰
Give my regards to your brother in law 😉🐕🌲
Tom
Great release! Very informative. More recently, I found a similar axe in the bed of an old well when it was being repaired. I think that the handle (ax handle) of battle axes should be longer. I read that its length should be the length of its owner's arm.
That’s great 😁👍🏻and thanks for your info and for joining us 🏕🔥🐕
Tom
Great video Tom. Cornelious is so interested in everything you do, such a good companion! I have been inspired to send you a few pics of my axes and knives. Many thanks, take care, Eddie
Thanks Eddie for joining Cornelius and me again 🤗🐕🏕🔥and for watching my videos 😁👍🏻🇩🇰Tom
Thanks for the tour of your collection Tom!! Several of your Texas Viking brothers and sisters have a great assortment of axes and knives, of course, all of them have a great story. Brilliant to join you and Cornelius for a cup of Chaga, as always. Looking forward to the next visit with you. Be well my friend! Skal!!
Skål 🍻 Douglas 😁👍🏻and thanks for the feedback and for 🐕🇩🇰joining us again 🏕🔥

The guy that made it said brass will bend i told him i'm not going to cut concrete just apple and tomato's lol lol lol

Hello Tom ,I may have missed one of your videos but my phone had been down. Got it fixed. Thanks for your presentation of your axes and knives. I love your gear, Tom! All the little accents you do to make it special. Love the pot and seen you use it before... I forage my own Chaga here. I like the taste too! I prefer Rum in my hot drinks, but a good quality whiskey is probably better! Loved the vid! So nice to hang out with you and little Cornelius! ❤🐕🏕👍🍻🌬

Hello my friend 🤝. Cool knife 🔪 and axe 🪓
Thanks brother 😁👍🏻glad you like them 🔥
Tom
Great video man, enjoyed seeing your axes and knives. Chaga sure is a powerful ally. Pretty common here in Nova Scotia. A far more plentiful mushroom with all the same benefits is Birch polypore. Fomitopsis betulina. It is bitter though. Chaga is very smooth in comparison. Thanks for sharing Tom.
Yeah I know about that polypor 😉 but never taste it. Thanks for your feedback and for following me on my 🐕little adventures 🏕🔥

Tom
CRKT makes one just like the first one called a Berserker. Its my favorite axe/tomahawk, and I have MANY.
Thanks for sharing this with me 😁👍🏻and for coming along in 🏕🔥
Tom
Chaga does make a fine tea. I have been following your axe and knife videos with interest as I am somewhat of a collector. You didn't show the Roselli ax in this video: I like that very much and it is close to a Viking-period ax.
Glad you like my video James 😉 and my gear
I don’t think the Roselli axe is typically Viking style 🤔 so that’s why I didn’t show it in my collection … but I love that axe 🪓💪🏻😉🏕🔥
Tom
I just foraged some Chaga in the woods and dehydrated it and had some yesterday. It was delicious never thought to put some whiskey in it that’s a good idea.
Ha ha glad you like that 😉 and good to see you in my camp Andy 🏕🔥
Tom
Another great video my friend, love the knives and axes on your table.

Thanks Chris 🤗 I’m so glad you liked it 🏕🔥
Tom
Ah yes, nothing like toting an axe into the woods. Whether to chop wood or chop what ever else :) I have five "Viking" axes. My newest one is from CRKT, called the Berserker, it is just a bit bigger then your first axe you showed, but other then that, looks the same. I put mine on a 22 inch long Hickory handle. I know Hickory is not the right wood, but I do not have any Ash to work with. I also have a axe from a company called "Arms and Armor" called the Nordland Type C axe. A bearded axe, and looks like one you own. I love a good axe, but maybe that's because in the dark and dim past of my Fathers side of the family, there where Dane's who settled in Scotland and created Clan Gunn. I'm still looking for a good Seax Knife, that I can afford. Take it easy and stay safe.
Thanks James for sharing your collection with me 🤗 And great that you also have Viking blood running in your veins 💪🏻🇩🇰😁🪓

Wow, that's a lot of nice stuff! Thanks for showing it all together. I like collection videos, and I guess we're all collectors in some way. The Roselli knife is such a beauty, very nice figured wood, reminds me of guitar tops. It's a family treasure 😉 Your Cimbrer-Seax is a real beast for sure 👍
An axe which has caught my eye is the CRKT Freyr, but I have no plans to buy something. But wait, Christmas is approaching... 😄
Skål and greetings from the Bavarian Forest 🍺🐗🌲
PS: i always wondered, which whiskey you use for your special beverage 😉
Yeah Christmas 🎄 is on its way 😁👍🏻 and perhaps Santa will given you one 😉 Thanks for watching my video and for your support. It’s mostly Scottish whiskey 🥃 I come in my coffee 🔥

🎶 let's talk about seax baby🎶
Edit: regarding reaching 100K, maybe more "shorts" could get you there, idk
Shorts are cringe
Thanks for your good advice 😉👍🏻 but I don’t get much views on my shorts 🤔😏 …
@@keptleroymg6877yeah but UA-cam likes them and we are trying to get to100K broader audience right? Gotta play by the algorithms rules.
Hmmm 🤔 yeah maybe it could help 😉 thanks
The problem with a ceramic pot and direct heat from a fire is the clay. Putting the clay pot inside a larger metal pot half full of water, will help avoid the breakage of the clay pot. Skal
Thanks for your advice Erik 😁👍🏻 but this pot seems to be able to take the heat 🔥💪🏻🏕
Tom
AYE! And hellish hard to get here🇬🇧. 😒
Okay 🤔😆😏
Too many axes :) I have seven myself, they include a carpenters axe, a long handled splitting axe, general utility camping axes I have accumulated over time and a couple of bearded axes one of which is a combination bearded axe and small adze which is great for carving. The other bearded axe would probably do as a fighting axe, though I have no great calling for Valhalla at the moment. I have my favourite knives too which I use for making my projects.
Thanks for your feedback my friend 🤗and for sharing this with me 👍🏻 Hope to see you again on my next adventure 🏕🔥🐕Tom

So Tom, What led you to your deep interest in All Things "VIKING"? Is it family lineage, or a family hobby/interest, perhaps other cultural faires or events, historical gaming? In the States we have "Renaissance Faires" which are more like "Dungeons & Dragons Faires" and much interest in such cultural and historical practices derive from that... 😉😇. Stay Strong Live Long Gods Bless You!!
Thanks Thomas for your feedback and question 😁 I live in Denmark 🇩🇰 and it’s a part of our culture heritage and I always found the Viking culture interesting and fascinating 😉👍🏻🔥🏕

A wonderful video. I will have to try that chagga "coffee." Your hot pot looks like it was sweating when it got really hot. What do you smoke in your pipe? I like a pipe now and then but don't smoke much because I smoked too much as a young man. (five pounds a year) I have just learned to appreciate less more. Life is my smoke now.😉
