13:35 Tiny house? Nah, that would actually be a reasonably sized multi-room home. Each cylinder is almost a meter across and the stroke is 2.5 meters - you could fit several entire car engines in each cylinder. But as for "will it fit in my Honda," you probably don't want it. Given the weight, it has a worse power-to-weight ratio than a '70s VW Beetle. Not ship worse than Bug, or this engine worse than Bug's engine, but this engine by itself has a lower power-to-weight ratio than the entire car. So if you did manage to attach it to a chassis, wheels (a lot of them), transmission (a huge one), the resulting contraption would be very slow. Im sure they knew this when they took the order.
I'm a naval architect and marine engineer and I've had the chance to see and work with marine low-speed diesel engines. The amount of power they can pull is almost unbelievable, and they're extremely efficient.
For V16, the Caterpillar 3516 could've made it into the list. Quad turbo 69.0L (nice) V16 Diesel engine. It is used on marine and land applications.
Will it Fit Into a Miata
I'm not even a motorcycle guy and I know there's a V8 one called the Boss Hoss, wonder what happened there...
But still awesome, I'm not saying someone shouldn't build that!
Feels good to be back on u guys Channel I had lost my first car it got towed away like 2 years ago now 😥 my 03 325xi i was watching you guys videos a lot when I had my car learning shit and getting ideas on what I wanna do what my build and now I’m back got my 2nd car ‘ a 02 330ci and car or not I shouldn’t have been bummed out and not even want to watch car videos glad to be back and imma cop some merch real soon much love from NYC

God this has to be some of the most entertaining content. I giggled the entire time watching this and you don't have an idea of how badly I needed that. Keep it up guys, we love it
You speak for yourself, most of us miss the old donut
The Dodge Viper is one of the best v10 engine ever made
the dodge viper is an engine?
Output of hp and tourqe compared to displacement is a complete joke to be fair, not an outstanding engine at all
The production quality and effort gone into the editing have really been superb lately. Loving all the sound effects!
At 4:00 they put the greater than symbol (>) instead of the less than symbol (
I sent you guys a message a few hours ago, I just wanted to make sure that you know
THIS IS THE BEST YOUTUB CHANNEL HANDS DOWN AND I AM NOT EVEN A CAR GUY JUST SO FUNNY
thats a big engine !
Wait, that cadillac v8 wasn't even gms biggest engine at the time. The gmc 637 is their biggest production v8.
Wait, Scania makes a 16 litre v8 (976 ci)
@@chrispykriss I mean if we're adding trucks into the mix, this entire list is fucked. And then the trucks are fucked when we add in trains. Understand the context to my comment first homie.
Caterpillar made the d17000, i think it Was líke 26+L, only made 176 hp haha
4:05, that's the MORE THAN symbol guys. Come on this is basic shit. The Less than symbol is int he same direction as an L <
sigh
Even if successfully connected to the supra, the engine is so large and heavy, it would rotate the supra turning it into a pile of scraps
miata owners taking notes rn
The whiplash scene did it for me!!!😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Mitsubishi's 8m21-4 v8 engine is 21L engine used in Fuso trucks is much larger than Chevy's 10.3L.
you missed the 5.1L single cylinder used in Field Marshall tractors... Or the 10L single cylinder in a lanz bulldog It makes a great noise and can do some party tricks like run both directions or hit 0rpm
I love the energy in this video when he was constantly just slapping the numbers up there! 😂
I had a 2004 vw Passat w8 wagon, I loved the car, but I worked on it more than I drove it. If you ever get to unbolt the exhaust do it. It’s one of the best sounding engines I have heard.
I think the wartsila RT-flex 96c has around 1828 litres per cylinder. I believe it has 14 cylinders so it would have 25600 litres of total displacement.
You are correct
107,390 HP + 1,828.7L
**"Miata owners: Yep that'll definitely fit"**
"The biggest V12 that ever went into production was the Chevy 702"
*Laughs in 44.5L DB 603*
Dude that Filth Shirt is sick!!! Respect to the Kentucky Cobra!
as a peruvian dota player, i heckin love the Ford Gaa
7:30 ah yes, every tank ever is just a fucking sherman that weighs exactly 71000 pounds
hey donut media I've been watching you guys for quite a while and find your videos very entertaining but to my surprise while I was out doing my job delivering food I delivered a bunch of Raymond poke to you guys today there at the inglewood propulsion laboratory you guys were super friendly and even gave me a t-shirt thank you so much you guys are super cool
There are plenty inline 4 engines bigger than 3.2L. The first that come to mind are truck engines like the isuzu 4he1 and 4hk1 which are 4.8 and 5.2L or even the 4bd1 3.9L which was used in land rovers
I love the sophomore-in-media-arts effects in this thing
For V12s you missed out on the Continental AVDS 1790 that they put in everything from the m60 to the m88A2, aka the tow tanks, they make 1050 Horsepower and an insane 2500 lb/ft of torque in the 8CR variation that I worked on and used and come in at 1790 cu in/ 29.3 Liters of displacement.
'How big is the biggest production V8?'
- For roadgoing, the biggest I know of is the Scania DC16, for stationary, the Cat 3508 goes on that list as a candidate.
What about the W16 engine in a Bugatti? I can’t believe you actually forgot it.
I'm a powerplant technician and I can truly say the Wartsila is a real monster of an engine
Nice to see some recognition to Italian engineers, the 20/30s were the bomb, so many records by pilots and engineers still held unbroken today
👆Thanks for watching
Expect more videos soon
DM right away I have something for you 🎉🎉...
When you said “ if you’re a cylinder queen” I died because when people obsess over how many cylinders they have l, it always cracks me up. Especially now, cylinders don’t determine shit,
