During his time, taking over a relegation-bound Everton (we really were then too), under FFP handcuffs like never before, Carlo showed how to adapt a small squad, laced with one-trick-ponies; and adjust a variety of formations and calendar scenarios entirely to the benefit of the club. We all knew he had no problem with walking into work with an early dismissal a high possibility and not have a problem with it. But his tactical intelligence was there too. Remember the likes of Cavani, Fernandes and Rashford rip apart an in-form Everton 2-0 in the 1st-half of an Old Trafford February? No? He's made history with Real Madrid. What a fantastic TEAM he has. RM are probably the best team in the world at this present moment and Acellotti has played a major part in their achievements. the point about calming down the players is the truest thing ever. For example motivated players would lose hope and get embarrassingly knocked out in any of those knockout stage games madrid played, while in reality madrid's players were calm and collected and managed to turn things around in literally the last moments of those matches

When Carlo arrived at madrid for the 2nd time.. I noticed one thing that he is not same as other manager like Zidane... His team plays for the badge.. His defender knows when to run forward and score a banger.. Under him every players play in the position where they need the most.. This is the perfect example of man management.. He doesn't force his team to play in their respective position he just knows which player plays how.. And let them manage in game in a simple 433 formation.. And guess what this works well for madrid cause when you 2_0 down and it's 89 minutes you have to use every 11 players in the pitch to score 2 goals.. Brilliant Don Carlo.. He just let his players play whatever they do the best.. And then GG ❤️
He’s the ideal journeyman football manager save. While someone like Alex Ferguson is like a single club save or road to glory save. (I know United werent in the lowest league but they also weren’t the top dogs when he took over)
Ancelotti's truly the GOAT of football managers. How he was able to stand the test of time for decades of changing football tactics and landscape, and still win them all in this age, truly proves that he's the GOAT.
For me, Carlo Ancelotti follows Sun Tzu's "Art of War" philosophy. Anticipate danger before there is danger. Sow early and well and do not be anxious. The harvest will follow.
On the topic of Berlusconi being involved I vividly remember when AC Milan signed Allegri, and he was set to be officially introduced with a press conference Berlusconi showed up with his helicopter minutes before the start, went in, and talked about himself, the team, briefly introduced Allegri without letting him speak, and proceeded to give a political speech for a good half an hour Allegri had to be re-introduced with another press conference and, when he PRIVATELY voiced his displeasure, Berlusconi, asked on the matter PUBBLICLY told "he better think about his hair style, it's way to messy for my taste" Result: Press Conference the day after, with the new hairline...
When your back line is Maldini, Nesta, Cos and Kaldaze, ofc you can put any formation in the midfield. Prilo, Gat, Costa and Seedorf could have been in a diagonal shape and still would have had the same impact lol I still respect Carlo the GOAT tho. Amazing vid, per usual.
Interesting how he said most players need not motivation but a calming down. This was my philosophy as a (admittedly lower level) youth coach and also as a player. Many coaches tear into their teams, but my halftime talks be like "everyone take a deep breath and find your focus". Not always foolproof of course, but I guarantee every player left the field still loving the game.
Ancelotti's career by numbers is one of the greatest but putting everything into context and you realise how much greater his achievements are like creating a milan team from scratch with previously unknown players and dominating Europe for 5 years and winning the 2 hardest UCL in real Madrid and creating and guiding zizo's team etc etc While he's not flashy but carlo can (and will) win everything everywhere with any team and any players no matter the circumstances A top 3 manager of all time and the most underrated coach ever

Acellotti is deep thinking manager with great patience. It's extremely difficult to have a persistant winning formula in top flight football. He's brilliant and well deserved. He's made history with Real Madrid. What a fantastic TEAM he has. RM are probably the best team in the world at this present moment and Acellotti has played a major part in their achievements. They are a very exciting team to watch. Good luck with more trophies.
the point about calming down the players is the truest thing ever. For example motivated players would lose hope and get embarrassingly knocked out in any of those knockout stage games madrid played, while in reality madrid's players were calm and collected and managed to turn things around in literally the last moments of those matches
5:41 love this point out. For me a lot of the up and coming generation of coaches need to learn how to do this and do it effectively. Man management is something they are lacking in which is a shame as its a must for success.
When Ancelotti and Rodriguez joined Everton it was literally my two favourite people in football joining my favourite team. Tbh I knew it wouldn’t last but gee Wizz it was nice that it happened at all
Dude is the living embodiment of Thanos he assembled all the titles to create the infinity eyebrow
Great videos.
Living in Australia, we don't get the same coverage of Serie A anymore.
As a kid, we'd get an hour of Serie A on Sundays.
Very nostalgic. My backgrounds Italian but I can't deny that I love the epl the most now.
Serie A is more for sentimnet now lol.
I remember Ancelotti scoring a screamer against Real when Milan beat them 5-1.
Amazing history.
Please keep these videos coming 🙏✌🇮🇹
You make football so so interesting, I can’t thank you enough.
God bless you Tenashe and May you prosper in all you do
When Carlo arrived at madrid for the 2nd time..
IF he won the world cup with Italy as a manager he has to be considered the GOAT without a doubt
He’s the ideal journeyman football manager save. While someone like Alex Ferguson is like a single club save or road to glory save. (I know United werent in the lowest league but they also weren’t the top dogs when he took over)
As a Barca fan I really admire Don Carlo as a manager. It's a shame he will never get to coach our team. He's a living legend 👏👏
Once Don Carlo raises his eyebrow and gives you that iconic face, the game is over.
Winning that ucl in 2007 is unbelievable!!!!that team was near the end yet unstoppable!!!!
Ancelotti's truly the GOAT of football managers. How he was able to stand the test of time for decades of changing football tactics and landscape, and still win them all in this age, truly proves that he's the GOAT.
.
Serial winner is not quite the right word because he has not been able to defend a single title in his long career apart from the German Supercup
Parma was such a force back in the day. So many world class players. Unfortunately the parent company went under the after and they had to reboot
Carlo...
the man...
the myth....
the Leeegend.
For me, Carlo Ancelotti follows Sun Tzu's "Art of War" philosophy. Anticipate danger before there is danger. Sow early and well and do not be anxious. The harvest will follow.
On the topic of Berlusconi being involved
I vividly remember when AC Milan signed Allegri, and he was set to be officially introduced with a press conference
Berlusconi showed up with his helicopter minutes before the start, went in, and talked about himself, the team, briefly introduced Allegri without letting him speak, and proceeded to give a political speech for a good half an hour
Allegri had to be re-introduced with another press conference and, when he PRIVATELY voiced his displeasure, Berlusconi, asked on the matter PUBBLICLY told "he better think about his hair style, it's way to messy for my taste"
Result:
Press Conference the day after, with the new hairline...
Carlo Ancelotti is a Living Legend, he made me so happy this season, thank you Don Carlo.
When your back line is Maldini, Nesta, Cos and Kaldaze, ofc you can put any formation in the midfield. Prilo, Gat, Costa and Seedorf could have been in a diagonal shape and still would have had the same impact lol
I still respect Carlo the GOAT tho. Amazing vid, per usual.
"Stats are only kind to attackers". This was deep, thanks.
Spectacular job in telling the story of great legend Carlo Ancelotti. Very captivating and emotional, Carlo up there with Fergie and Wenger.
20:31 well spent. No longer a football fan, but you make it very interesting.
Keep on.
Thanks!
The men is a legend, it’s not spoken of enough how big a legend ancelloti is. Don Carlo🔥❤️
I'm not suppprter of any club he managed, I very much dislike many of them. But gotta love this man, a true legend!
Ancelotti's career by numbers is one of the greatest but putting everything into context and you realise how much greater his achievements are like creating a milan team from scratch with previously unknown players and dominating Europe for 5 years and winning the 2 hardest UCL in real Madrid and creating and guiding zizo's team etc etc
While he's not flashy but carlo can (and will) win everything everywhere with any team and any players no matter the circumstances
A top 3 manager of all time and the most underrated coach ever
I love Carlo he’s definitely an all time great. The thing with him through his history was that his mistakes (or bad games) were so highlighted like blowing out the lead from Liverpool or Depertivo. His mistakes are big
Silly how? The 2005 game is the best come back in UCL history
Bro I literally just started watching soccer. I was watching the Real Madrid vs Manchester city and the one man who stood out of the everybody was that man. Looks very no nonsense kind of a man
@@biggs4052 🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is why I’m loving soccer man the rivalry and yes soccer not foot ball
What a way to start
I started with the Legendary Top Tier Clasicos era
First video of yours I’ve come across - instant subscription, love the coverage. Can’t wait to dive in to all the other content!
Aaaaaaaaaaah thank you for this video man! This channel is a gift to the world.
Man, I thought that Real Madrid and Liverpool were starting to have a new European rivalry where, like with the rivalry with atletico madrid, Real was often the winner. Turns out that we are just passengers tagging along with Carlo in his eternal rivalry Liverpool lol
Man is a living legend. Hope he achieves great things in life (Not that he already hasn't done that)
ih have never been disappointed with your videos broo keep up the good work❤
You know the game is over as soon as Don Carlo does the 🤨
The vigor in this man is outstanding. At 37 years old performing amazingly in the most competitive league in the world is just mind blowing. Mind that 35 is when most players even the most successful players retire. This man is historic
As a player he was fantastic and as a manager he still shows amazing resolve . He is also a great man manager.
Now Carlo has extendend his comtract....cant wait for 2 or 3 more ucl😅🥳🥳
Can’t explain just how happy I was when I saw this video on my home page!
I used to love the times back then where any team from all the big leagues were strong contenders in winning the UEFA. Unlike now where it's only 3
As a milan fan, he's one of the best managers to ever walked the san siro!
Your video's are always informative and funny in their own way which makes them really enjoyable, keep up the good stuff!
Amazing video, but would've loved if you game some details on that La Decima side's tactics and players just as a sort of tribute, that team was really special.
Coming in it's own video😉
THANK YOU for making my days better with your great content
after 84 with liverpool, every other thing became personal
I thought Jose was the character that was needed again, lil did I know Don Carlo was the man that was needed 🙏
But still would love to see Jose managing these youth in their peak, coz he basically built the team that won us La Decima and 3-peat to some extent💚🤷♂️
Really good video mate, enjoyed it. Carlo is awesome, hope he stays in the game for years to come.
Love the longer video! More of the 20 minute variant please if possible :) I love all your vids but the 10 minute ones feel like they're over so quickly and you clearly have much more to say!
He's the GOAT of managers for me.
I'm so surprised you aren't the top soccer UA-camr. You are a wonderful researcher, presenter. I really enjoy your channel.
Thanks for your continued greatness, T-Dawg! Keep these great videos coming, brother!
This guy is one of a kind and football world must give him his due respect..
Awesome work for such an informative video. Thank you for this.
A WC is missing !!!!
May GOD bless him and Brazil with WC glory 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
He was on to something with PSG but left just as they were on the way up. Also he deserved more time at Chelsea, Real first time and Bayern
Just came after they won CL no. 15.
Don Carlo 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You are ability to present needs to be showcased. I was kept totally entranced by your delivery and whimsical references. Nice one. Take a bow 🙇♀️
Iconic video, as always 👌🏆
Ayo, I'm a very picky subscriber and I'm very big into energy, it took me 20 seconds to want to listen to what you have say. I love your work. Don't stop!!!
Don Carlo, with a cigar in his mouth and trophies by his side, has officially and unquestionably stamped his way into Madrid and football immortality. SiiiiiUUUUUuuuuuu!!!!
Thank you for making this video and giving Carlo the respect he deserves🔥.
Also, would it be possible if you made a video about English media bias and your opinion on the topic?
"How To Win Everything, Everywhere"
Requirement number 1: Have the left eyebrow, bigger than the right one.
Fulfill all the other requirements.
WHAT.AN.OPENING !! Kudos bro 👏👏👏 keep up the good work.
Carlo Ancelloti is the best Italian manager of his generation. Bold statement, but his career proves it. He's resilience and understanding of the game is just beyond the horizont for many others. In the mean time he's not flashy and even more humble the Klopp. You can almost say from the view of a fan that he just does his thing. Uncomprehensive! Hope he will not strike out with Perez
Hes done it again...
The video I didn't know I needed at the perfect time. God and the Universe certainly always know what you need and provide if you ask for it. Bless you brother, loved the video, I've subscribed.
