Ancelotti understand something many have forgotten: The Players are good at certain things and not good in other things but while you can let them train the bad things they should also focus on the good things cuz that´s the reason why these people are in the team so if someone is not working right in your system, change the system or at least that bit of it. Don´t let the player have to adapt to that new role completly but rather let his role find a part in the whole system and this is the true holy grail of football coaching.
Everton for the first half of the season were great, with a common occurrence. The players were having incredible season, notably James and their striker, this is what Carlo does, gets the best out of the talent available
Regina parma ? Real madrid 2021 when he came both starting centre left aging midfield and fat hazard immature vini who couldn’t score to saved his life bale yet won the double. Everybody thought he was going to sack by the december when he returned
when he started he used to be very straight with sacchi style footbal, so into it that refused to sign Baggio in Parma ( he admitted it was a huge mistake). Everything changed when he went to Juve and met zidane. he realized some players don't need to be told what to do, they just need to be put in perfect conditions to do it
Ancelotti understands his players level of creativity and offers them freedom to thrive - the result is that he has coached several Ballon D'or winners Kaka, Benzema, Ronaldo and possibly Vini. Pep on the other hand, only Messi and possibly Rodri. Ancelotti is goated
My only concern is that against top opposition Ancelotti relays on an incredibly inflow of stamina, and some how Madrid achieve to have lots of its players in “mad men mode” at champions league finals, then you see them play before or after and is anything but inspiring at all. Vinicius shooting relentlessly against Bayern at 87 was just odd and weird.
Ancelotti was equally inventive and adaptable at Milan, with which it won two Champions League and lost another one only for the most unlikely combination of factors (basically, Liverpool were lucky). Ancelotti's Milan, in terms of players and style of playing, was arguably even better than Ancelotti's Real Madrid teams
Idk why people say he has no tactics he has tactics but his tactics suits his players. I hope this season he wins the ucl and LaLiga just to prove people again why he is Don Carlo
Great video. Still the uninformed downplay the Don with relation to others. Carlo has been there and done that. He sees and understands things that many of the new boys probably neglect, both on and off field. Though it must be said he is often blessed with managing phenomenal players (a status he has earned). He has a new challenge now in integrating kylian into the team. Junior and Rodrygo have accepted him as a worthy incumbent into the strike force. But big egos have again come into play. This is evident with the start of the new season where Madrid’s attack has been incoherent. Interestingly some of the younger or lower profile members have been more influential such as Diaz, who is a phenomenal player in his own right, and guler. It might take time but hopefully Carlo can find a solution to make this group of such talented players hum like a machine.
I play fifa career mode with EFL league 2 teams and sign the cheapest youngest players I can get my hands on every season. It was absolutely insane to see Madrid sign camavinga and tchouameni basically in the same seasons I signed them to my teams. They are so far ahead, they’re so rich and they still spend money on young future talents that grow and integrate into the squad alongside their multimillion dollar galacticos, and they almost always have a veteran player paving the way to show young players how to fit into the squad at every position (which also has the side effect of creating consistent competition for every position, if you slack off someone else is right there waiting to take your spot) I used to hate them as a kid because I loved Messi but I have nothing for respect for their system and the way they just keep on competing and putting their club in football history
Interesting how Carlo will be able to win with Madrid this season. I believe he will either win Madrid its first treble or go trophyless. There will be no in between
A lot of Ancelotti's choices look obvious after you see them, and his managerial style seems simpler, but it is not. He is successful because he is a genius.
Because Guardiola is in everyone's lips and deservedly so, everybody slept on Ancelotti during his time at Everton until his return to Real Madrid. 2 Champions League titles in 3 years, 2 Uefa Super Cups, 2 La Liga titles, Copa Del Rey and a Club World Cup. Ancelotti allows his players to do their thing while Guardiola wants his players to fit his system and not deviate. Ancelotti is one of the greatest managers ever if not the greatest. He's the only manager to win league titles in Europe's top 5 leagues(Premier League with Chelsea, Serie A with Milan, Ligue 1 with PSG, Bundesliga with Bayern Munich and La Liga with Real Madrid).
If you’re gonna compare major success ancelotti is better pep when it comes to utilizing the players at his disposal. Pep can make an average player look very decent due to him understanding while Carlo’s style makes a good player world class by tailoring the position to him. This just leaves the question that xavi iniesta and Messi are world class players but would they be the same players without peps input or would they come up slightly shorter because that team is the only comparable one when it comes to ancelottis teams (in terms of the player quality being equal cause the both met a monster named Real Madrid during their Bayern runs)

But why then did he suck so hard at Bayern? He had a treble-winning team and young motivated talents and he got almost nothing out of it. They highly underperformed under his reign.
Suck so hard? He won the league and a cup, went to the semis of the other cup (Bayern always struggles in these) and only got knocked out by 3peat Madrid in arguably their prime. No team, at least in the top 5 leagues, has ever done a treble back to back. At least he didn’t get 5-0’d like Pep did. He did this in first and only season in charge when he was facing health issues. Pep’s City in 16-17 is what “sucked so hard”

The Players are good at certain things and not good in other things but while you can let them train the bad things they should also focus on the good things cuz that´s the reason why these people are in the team so if someone is not working right in your system, change the system or at least that bit of it.
Don´t let the player have to adapt to that new role completly but rather let his role find a part in the whole system and this is the true holy grail of football coaching.
Everton proves that ancelotti always has generational talent and some of the best players in their prime.
Everton for the first half of the season were great, with a common occurrence. The players were having incredible season, notably James and their striker, this is what Carlo does, gets the best out of the talent available
You mean just like pep Ferguson Wenger klopp mouriniho when all of them were winning trophies 😱
We're all bias. But I do believe he's not a tactician. He has an eye for playing the most in form and in their prime players.
Everything changed when he went to Juve and met zidane. he realized some players don't need to be told what to do, they just need to be put in perfect conditions to do it
That is some top class storry telling right there in the beginning
Magnificent video, Great Opening 👏
Ancelotti understands his players level of creativity and offers them freedom to thrive - the result is that he has coached several Ballon D'or winners Kaka, Benzema, Ronaldo and possibly Vini.
Pep on the other hand, only Messi and possibly Rodri.
Ancelotti is goated
All those players combined only equal Messi's ballon d'or count. He still could've had Iniesta, Xavi, Eto'o, Haaland, Ribery.
Boy started the vid with a Bruce Lee quote, I already know it's gonna be a banger
"Every great footballer has an extraordinary coach"
What an intro! it made me feel things
How can a simple 10mins video be so GoLDeN. 👋✨
The fact that we have brahim and arda as mid is insane
The hole left by kroos is big but hopefully they find the solution stat
Ancelotti was equally inventive and adaptable at Milan, with which it won two Champions League and lost another one only for the most unlikely combination of factors (basically, Liverpool were lucky). Ancelotti's Milan, in terms of players and style of playing, was arguably even better than Ancelotti's Real Madrid teams
Ancelotti and Pep had great teams and both won almost the same ucl titles, so both are rn the best modern coaches
Idk why people say he has no tactics he has tactics but his tactics suits his players. I hope this season he wins the ucl and LaLiga
just to prove people again why he is Don Carlo
He made football simple.
Don Carlo 🐐
WOOOOW! BRUCE LEE IN THE START🔥
Damn, amazing insights.
You finally give relationism it's flowers😊
Why is allways about Guardiola? Thats My question
Mr. Ancelotti is a special man.
Our grandpa is awesome. ❤❤❤
0:59 coldest moment in human history
Great video !!!
Valverde playing pos 5 now really speaks of Carlettos' flexibility
Goted intro 🐐
Great video👍
Why has this been recommended to me just after they lost 4-0 to Barca 😂
Don Carlo is the GOAT! 👏🏾
Interesting how Carlo will be able to win with Madrid this season. I believe he will either win Madrid its first treble or go trophyless. There will be no in between
Using Ronaldo Real Madrit as an example is funny because It was Pep's Barcelona with Messi that dominated the league, not Ancelotti ball.
Pep was already gone, the manager of barcelona that season was Tata Martino.
Don Carlo is 1 of kind🤞
Anyone remember that interview with Iwobi where he said Ancelotti’s son ran most of their sessions at Everton?
Don carlo we have had enough respect for him.
#halamadrid
Best manager.
Johan cryuff : PLAYING FOOTBALL IS SIMPLE BUT PLAYING SIMPLE FOOTBALL IS THE HARDEST THING THERE IS
A lot of Ancelotti's choices look obvious after you see them, and his managerial style seems simpler, but it is not.
This just leaves the question that xavi iniesta and Messi are world class players but would they be the same players without peps input or would they come up slightly shorter because that team is the only comparable one when it comes to ancelottis teams (in terms of the player quality being equal cause the both met a monster named Real Madrid during their Bayern runs)
please can you help me
i wanna know what is the name of tactical board you use in your video or could you recommend one to me
Because I wanna start making tactical analysis videos on my own
Carlo 'I raise my eyebrow ball in goal ' Ancelotti
In the first Ancelotti's seasons at Madrid, it was Khedira-Alonso, not Modric
I would say Arne Slot has the same approuch to tactics as Ancelotti
He’s a dawg and now his sons involved he will be also
Great thumbnail 😂
