This is hard to pick! I am excited to get another hero that can play the psionic cards from Phoenix's pack in Cable. But Domino's play style seems really interesting and the deckbuilding could be cool focusing on resources
The thing with Domino is that nearly all of her hero specific cards have wild icons, and you can put any card you want from your hand on top of your deck before you have to discard for card effects. There is still going to be luck involved, but there seems to be plenty of ways to mitigate it.
I think a lot of people are thinking the main benefit of Domino's hero ability is drawing a new card but I think the main benefit is taking a wild resource from your hand and putting it on top of your deck so you can discard it.
Something serious is going on in the MC universe. They announce a fairly interesting expansion on the same day Dylann is available to cover it? That’s some ominous juju. Also there are 4 cards with the posse trait so the odds are a bit better for the teamwork draw. Add in Rogue and the possibilities will make you giddy.
Yes, there were 3 "Posse" characters in this reveal: Diamondback, Outlaw, & White Fox, considering Domino is "Posse" also, it may be easier to play "The Posse" than we think, especially since you could potentially get White Fox in play for free. Either way I'm definitely looking forward to playing with both these heroes.
Cable's thematic implementation here is amazing. He's a time traveling guerilla fighter, so the VD is basically representing his efforts to mess around in the timeline & get better results.
Good to have MC content to look forward to again! I actually am really looking forward to Domino as she's all about creating that good luck for yourself which I think they've captured well. Any card that lets you see the top of your deck is immediately more valuable to her. She reminds me a bit of Scarlet Witch but possibly less of a downside as she won't be burning through the encounter deck
It's a very cool reveal. I'm excited to play both heroes. It was definitively the moment to include that new card concept. I hope they continue to support it in upcoming content.
I'm more excited for Domino than Cable. I think Cable brining the new card type is really fun. But, I think Domino is more engaging mechanically. You get to stack the deck in your favor, and then take advantage of it. I think most of her cards that top deck will be a wild resource, because you get to put them there. She would be high luck if it wasn't for all the mitigation. She reminds me of a lower luck version of Scarlet Witch, except instead of burning through the enemy deck for boosts she's burning through her own deck for resources. Domino's deck is probably going to cycle faster than other heroes.
Domino using Wolfsbane, she can always know which card type is on top of your deck if you use her identity ability (alter-ego or hero) first. Cosmo will be great in Domino decks for the same reason.
You missed a Posse card. Diamondback is also Posse. So unless there are more Posse cards we haven't seen, you only need to get 2 of the 3 Posse cards into play to use "The Posse". Still not amazing, but better.
So, I think Fantomex ain't that weak, and he might even turn out to be OP. His stats are basically 2/2/3, if you choose to not heal him. The cool thing is how flexible he is. In just one round, he can attack 2 minions or mess with 2 schemes, which can be super helpful (you know, when you're missing that one extra point). But why could he be too strong? Well, there are upgrades that can easily pump up his stats, like getting his ATK up to 3. With some luck, we could have immortal allay with crazy firepower. If he shows up early in the game, he might just make things way too easy.
Fantomex/EVA is essentially a 4 cost 1/1/3 ally with no consequential damage and the downside of possibly drawing a dead card. Is that good? I think so. It's basically on par with Yondu. There's also some flexibility in how you use it. You can activate both cards for a burst 2 thw or atk in a turn, and then later take a turn to just heal him up
Deadpool is 100% breaking the 4th wall. First, the money. I mean, yeah - releasing Deadpool = free money. Second, the background. That is absolutely a homage to the garbage, phoned-backgrounds that were a staple of Rob Liefeld's comics.
I don't see where the actual luck is with Domino. You stack the top of the deck by using her hero action so you should always be able to put what you want on top. She manipulates the odds so it's not really random
I'm really bummed and furious that they didn't include Apocalypse in the villains. I mean c'mon... it's Cable! He's basically Cable's arch-nemesis and only the coolest villian of all the X-Men villains! Where the hell's Apocalypse?!?
Which hero are you more excited for? Cable or Domino??
CABLE 🦾

Both sound amazing
Domino for sure!
Tough to say! The nostalgia of remembering my scuba-diving Cable action figure (yeah..) tilts it.

Love the Teamup card. If you have Diamondback, White Fox, and Outlaw in play... That readies four characters for a 2 cost! That's crazy!

Diamondback is a posse too 37:38

I can't hear the words 'X Force' anymore without going to watch the Deadpool 2 skydiving scene.
Too classic.

Thx for the overview, really appreciate your time and work
Good to hear these overviews again. It's been too long.
This is the first time I’m more excited about the heroes than the villains!
Hoping for Psylocke, Bishop, Forge, and Deadpool as our next hero packs.

Cable better have an upgrade called 'Massive Shoulderpads'.
Are you planning on releasing reviews for Rogue and Gambit?
Power in all of us will be awesome for Domino
I’ve long wanted a reprint of this card!
Let’s not forget that the player side schemes thin out your deck permanently while giving you a benefit for defeating them.
A little surprised Overwatch wasn't mentioned to be a reprint and all the good it has already done in the game.

Yesss we want the reviews of mutant genesis and rogue and gambit

And if you add to ally stats with an upgrade attachment and/or event I could see it being pretty epic.
@@BlueGiantMedia Agreed, this is where I see his best strength coming into play.
Do we know any more about the rest of the box yet?
Wonders when he'll figure out all of dominos cards are wild resources...
Hey guys, which X-men campaign box can you recommend? I skipped all the X-men content and now thinking what to buy 😊
Hey Serhii! We only have Mutant Genesis out for now so until Next Evolution comes out that will be your best bet!

This!
It's not luck it's lucky.
Like people born, handsome, wealthy, and funny 😂😂😂
@Toby Smith Yeah that's the point. She's lucky, which is why you can stack the deck. You aren't relying on blind random draws
Good. Random luck would be horrible.
Ahh, August can’t come soon enough
Stryfe is Cables clone from an alternate future 😊
EVA will let you voltron Fantomex and play him for the rest of the game.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Where the hell's Apocalypse?!?
Probably coming in the next box, which might be X-Factor, so it works thematically if it is.
@@Silvorange Yeah, but Apocalypse was much more an X-Men/X-Force villian.
Obviously they want to sell this product by making the cards powerfull
