Doctor Strange (I know,people say he is too easy, but I play him against the toughest villians and manipulating the invocation deck with Wang and Cosmo is a lot of fun) 2. Wolverine (newer hero and a lot of fun, very powerful) 3. Quicksilver (awesome being able to ready over and over again) 4. SP//DR (wasn’t excited about this when she came out, but she is really a great design) 5. I freakin love Marvel Champions! Awesome list! Haven’t got too much into the deck building aspect yet but I finally picked up all the expansions and hero packs. Been playing since January and my friends and I play every week at our LGS before our Pathfinder 2E Campaign or other board games i.e. Power Rangers, Dune, and Alien: Nemesis.
Thank you so much for giving love to War Machine. When I saw his hero pack, that was the entire reason I bought Marvel Champions in the first place. I've since bought all heroes and just missing a few scenario packs but I will always love WM the most
We played the campaign with Black Widow and Wolverine. He was a typical tank on the front line of fire, and she was a typical spy, who was often responsible for disarming opponents and dealing the final blow from hiding. They gave me a lot of fun. That's how I feel

My top 5 is hard especially if I'm going to rank them. I'll rank them in order of release - Iron Man, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Gamora, and Wolverine. (Venom is super close, and War Machine is a top 10 for me)
Great vid, fun to see both your picks! And I can confirm there's no errata on Ironheart's progress counters! You can spend as many as you like and they're very, very good. It's difficult to pick a top 5! I love to build decks, but my top 5 heroes to build decks for wouldn't be my top 5 to play. But let's try: 1) Star-Lord, 2) Storm, 3) Ant-Man, 4) Spider-Woman, 5) Black Panther I've been playing Gambit and Rogue a lot this weekend though and they are both super fun! Great video, guys! Funnily enough, my top two favorite heroes are Captain America and Quicksilver. Both have been the most satisfying and solid throughout. I keep buying new hero packs and have fun experimenting with the new play styles but I always come back to those two.
My top five would be: Ms Marvel, Iron Man, War Machine, Black Panther and Cap. Just got MTS so Spectrum/Adam Warlock could jump up. I’m surprised Dylann didn’t mention BP since he loves upgrading and unique resources (Vibranium)
Finally, I got to sit down and watch this. Good video. It's nice to see some back and forth for Dylann to feed off of for this game. Interesting lists. I can totally see why each hero made it. And can't say any of them are surprises. But It does say a lot about individual style and preferences. If I had to choose a top 5. I think it would look something like this. 1.) Captain America 2.) Shadowcat 3.) Captain Marvel 4.) Drax 5.) Nova With Wolverine Ghost Spider, and War Machine coming in close for that 5th spot. And if I'm being honest, I'm not sure this list would hold up to a serious evaluation. It's fun to think about.

@All You Can Board Agreed. I think that's why tier makers are so popular. And I highly recommend Captain Marvel. She is basically the card draw queen. In some decks, it's not uncommon to go through a quarter of your deck or more in a single turn. And she's still relevant in the current meta of the game to boot. Her aggro decks are good enough to beat Ronan, yet she has enough variety to take on trickier scenarios like Hella as well.
I bought Warmachine because of your review, and he is definitely my favorite. I got Drax after, but he just wasn't the same as Warmachine's power fantasy.
I love playing as Wolverine. Can really do massive damage even in the first round if you draw the right cards. He even has decent thwart and a great thwart card that can lead to card draws.
Purely fun factor? Nebula Iron Man Star Lord Nova Black Widow Ghost Spider Quick Silver Wasp Ant-Man Spiderman (both) Impossible make it just 5 heroes too me 😅
If I had to rate the decks I’ve had the most fun with I think Rocket built to demolish ultron is my favorite, and starlord leadership building for a massive 40+sliding shot is a close second:)… definitely not the most powerful, and can lead to trouble in true solo. But the heart wants what the heart wants

Quicksilver Protection is absolutely my favorite build and by the time the Scarlet Witch is fully built in it (including cards like Shield Spell), it really feels like she is in complete control of the board state.
Dylan, if you haven't already, I suggest throwing in 3 meditation cards into your war machine deck! Since war machine doesn't rely on basic activations, it's a great way to get some more expensive cards out! Braiden, you talked about your love for controlling the villain with Black widow. If you haven't already, check out Ghost-Spider (Gwen Stacy) in Protection! So much fun shutting the villain down on their turn. As a fellow true solo player I'm surprised how much you both love iron-man. He seems best in multiplayer so someone else can help manage the board state while iron-man builds. I'll have to take another look at him.
I have played some Ghost Spider and also really enjoyed her! And Iron-Man almost needs to be justice when played true solo. I could see how multiplayer would benefit him more though.
@@AllYouCanBoard (with a decent collection) protection works good too, as he can thwart without needing Justice cards. Ever Vigilant gives you up to 4 more thwart too in protection.
My top 5 Champions are: 5 - Quicksilver - Pietro used to be my top 1, and though he slid to 5, he's still so fun. 4 - Vision - Even after Shadowcat released, Vision is still my favorite phasing Champion. Vivian is also the best ally ever. 3 - Sp//dr - Champion which best captures the fantasy of the character. Super fun and powerful! 2 - Gamora - From the bottom of my Champion list to now one of my favorites. Playing her is so interactive and tactical. 1 - Ghost Spider - Spider Gwen is blazing fast, fun, and is my favorite!

Complete newbie here so, this episode is filled with great information for me. I've only played four heroes so far - Spider-man - Captain Marvel - She-Hulk and Iron Man. Love them all. I suck at the aggression aspect - it's just not for me. I'm more of a Justice guy. I need me some Quicksilver!

@@AllYouCanBoard his royal flush card with 3 charge counters does 3 cost for 9 damage if you use warrior skill it brings it to 9 to 12. You can also use two aggressive energies to bring it from 12 to 18!

Haha no, not sponsored. I've only played it once so far and that was only at 2 players which probably isn't the ideal count for it. Haven't played Champions in a while, sold everything I had. Was thinking about getting back in and just doing X-Men stuff but 10 choices here and not a single x-men champion. Maybe I will just skip for now.
I will say I've only played three X-Men so far (Wolverine, Phoenix, Gambit, and Storm). I think they're fun but not quite to the same level as the heroes on this list (imo). - Braiden

I really like control heroes like Black Widow. I’m enjoying Spider-Man right now. Which other characters are like that? Mostly just other spider characters?
Ghost Spider has a few cards similar to Black Widow. The other that comes to mind is Nebula.

@@AllYouCanBoard his royal flush card with 3 charge counters does 3 cost for 9 damage if you use warrior skill it brings it to 9 to 12. You can also use two aggressive energies to bring it from 12 to 18!

Haha no, not sponsored. I've only played it once so far and that was only at 2 players which probably isn't the ideal count for it. I just need to be more intentional about getting it to the table with a large group a couple times and then I'll definitely cover it in a video! Thanks for keeping me accountable! Haha.

War Machine isn't that popular, I imagine he isn't in very many top fives.
Haven't played Champions in a while, sold everything I had. Was thinking about getting back in and just doing X-Men stuff but 10 choices here and not a single x-men champion. Maybe I will just skip for now.
I will say I've only played three X-Men so far (Wolverine, Phoenix, Gambit, and Storm). I think they're fun but not quite to the same level as the heroes on this list (imo).
