That's one hell of a cool set! Crazy to think that there's not an official line of these sorts of things, what with 'ol Ninty being a toy company at heart. They are actually missing a trick there, I think. Love the led lighting it's got, it really sets it off and displays those inner details.
I find it hard to find good Nintendo toys generally. I feel like it's only been in the last 5 years that the UK has started to get some of the cool stuff the US has.
I’m a huge Zelda fan and an AFOL so I’m just waiting for that Lego Zelda announcement to come (which is inevitable given the Lego Mario and donkey Kong series) and when that does come I’ll be even more skint than normal. Seriously though, that looks like a great set and I really enjoyed the video but I have to ask, what happened to the crashing into the camera at the end of the video? I used to enjoy that unique send off 😀 keep up the great work!
Hi mike😊, I'm a big lego fan and who doesn't love zelda😃, also nice figures. You have such a cool room. I used to think I had a lot of cool things but nothing in comparison to your huge collection. Great idea for an upload. BTW can I ask how much was that set?
It was just under 4 hours in the end. There were a few areas where the instructions were not that clear and I had to go back and fix things. But over all straight forward and fun to build up.
I'd love Lego to do a Zelda line, but I always wonder what they would do. The smaller child friendly sets would be easy enough, but if they made a big UCS Adult set, I can't think what it would be of. Hyrule Castle or the Deku Tree are choices, but their interiors and look change with every game. Zelda doesn't have too much that stays constant throughout the games.
This was so much fun! I can't wait to put together some of my builds--and already hope to add this to them as well! Do you think we'll get official Zelda LEGO? I think it's a matter of time; as much as I adore the Mario sets, I already don't have space for those, much less Zelda ones, but I'll absolutely be all over them. Now--go build this in our Minecraft village Mike! It lights up? Or did you rig that? Love the Korok figures too--so cute.
Argh reminds me that I need to get the NES ones to finish my otherwise complete Zelda collection... Zelda is a special series for me too, also being a veteran of the 16bit war (Mega Drive GOAT, always❤), it was Zelda specifically OoT that got me buying Nintendo systems.
Impressive. I got some Zelda games you might not have in your collection. We may be able to do some business at the next market. That being said, this is all very nice.
Well that definitely caught my kids' attention. My 11 and 8 year olds' jaws just hit the floor. We're all big Zelda fans too, and I'll need to look for this set.

I thought it was a bit silly, but I can bring it back.

I think it was £50 in the end. The website was all in $ but I paid with paypal.
Looks amazing mate . You said at the start that you thought it would be a 3 to 4 hour build, how long did it really take to build?

Wow! This really is beautiful Mike. I had no idea this existed until today. Thank you for sharing this with us bro. It made my day. 8^)
Anthony..
I wonder if Lego will ever make a Lego Neo Geo.
That looks fire!!
It's an awesome build.

I think they would just choose one of the games.

I think it's inevitable that there will be Zelda Lego. You need to build up that corrupted sword.
@@RetroGamerBoy Consider it done! And yeah...finding both money for them and then space will be the hardest challenges. ha ha

I pretty much buy Nintendo consoles for Zelda and then consider other great games on the console.
@@RetroGamerBoy This is the way 😅 Especially if there is a Zelda release console!

You know I want them😅 As long as I don't find anything Mega Drive I would buy what you have.
That looks insane!! 👍💪
It's huge, trying to find a space in the games room for it took almost as long as building the lego it's self.
How much? If you’re not willing to sell then I will defo need to come over and see it 😂
Only £2000 to you young sir.

It's pretty cool, and a lot of fun to put together.
