Captivating. And the music well suits. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the music too ✨
I have all the colors you used, except for transparent red oxide. However, I did find some red oxide among my acrylic colors and diluted it to the consistency of watercolor. It worked beautifully!!! I know I have said it before, but I will say it again... your tutorials have sooo improve my painting that I surprise myself when I finish one of them following your lead. I always add something else to "make them 'mine'", perhaps a different color scheme, other times a moon. I painted one of your lighthouses. Instead of masking tape I used masking fluid. It did not take away anything from the sharp lines for the lighthouse. I was pleasantly surprised. Once again, Anastasia, thank you ever so much!!
What a great idea to use diluted acrylics with watercolours! Glad that it worked for you - thank you for sharing.
I am so glad you find my videos helpful, and that your painting is improving, and how wonderful that you find ways to make the landscapes uniquely yours - this is exactly what I am trying to show, that you can learn the techniques by watching the videos and implement them in your own work. Thank you for watching, and happy painting!
Beautiful. That' gonna be my next painting project. Thank you
Thank you so much. Have fun!!
I love the misty effect of this beautiful painting. I so appreciate your style, and I am so thankful for your real time painting. It is very helpful.
Thank you for your kind words Anne - I am glad you have enjoyed the video, and the fact that it is not sped up was helpful for you. Happy painting!
In my humble opinion, this is a masterpiece! You make it look doable, with practice!
This is so kind of you! Thank you so much
You combine abstract art with some definate shapes. Creating such art is truly magical
Thank you so much! Watercolours are so helpful in creating these lovely passages of paint for me... And then I can add more definition to the scene with the defined shapes.
Magic is happening in front of your eyes! Beautiful!
❤️❤️❤️
I like the way you created the falling water. I’ve used that technique to create mist rising among mountains but never thought to create a waterfall that way. Lovely painting and anxious to give it a try. Thanks for the great demonstration.
Thank you for watching Ted! It is such a useful technique for painting the flowing water. Just make sure you do not use staining pigments. Have fun!
I am sooooo glad I found your channel! I truly appreciate your mastery of wet on wet and your ability to simplify a acene, but keep it so dynamic and visually entertaining. Amazing stuff!
Thank you for watching, and for your kind words 😊
This has to be the absolute my favorite UA-cam tutorial ever. So so beautiful 😍
Oh wow, thank you so much for such a lovely comment 😊
I'm so glad this showed up in my suggestions Anastasia! I have some Canadian friends who are pretty much surrounded by waterfalls and I've been trying to figure out the best way to paint them. This has been super helpful! Thank you!
Oh I am so glad! Thank you. This is such a fun way to paint waterfalls - enjoy!
@@AnastasiaMily can’t wait to try it!
Thank you so much for your independent painting ! Very much appreciated and helpful!🤗
So glad you find this demo helpful Joanne 😊 Thank you for watching!
Your painting is amazing ❤
Thank you so much 😊
C'est magnifique, quelle dextérité, quel talent - un grand Merci !
Thank you for watching and for such a kind comment - I really appreciate it!
Beautiful! Thank you for walking us through the whole process!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Lovely! I didn’t realize burnt sienna and transport red oxide granulated so differently.
Thank you so much Jay! My Burnt Sienna doesn’t granulate at all but Transparent Red Oxide has a beautiful rusty texture. I love watercolour for this - the colours are similar but the textural effects are very different
The most amazing way you create your art is such a delight to watch. ❤️
Thank you for your kind words always Julie ☺️
Hello Anastasia, I was quite surprised at how easy you you felt about creating the waterfall. The end result of the fall is awesome, how real the spray appears, without too much effort on your part. Your style is so natural, easy going, and free. I sincerely love watching you perform your art. I am curious, how long have you been painting?. ❤🥰
Always appreciate your lovely and thoughtful comments Consuelo! The magic of watercolour is that it often creates amazing results if we let it do its thing without trying to control it too much :) I've been painting on and off my whole life but never consistently and regularly until around three years ago. These days I paint at least 4-5 times a week.
@@AnastasiaMily And I am so happy you do!!!. If you had painted consistently all your life, you would have your own gallery now, I am sure!.
Hi Anastasia, I’m so glad I came across your channel as I’m a learner and like your approach very much and the way you let the paint do its own work to such beautiful effect. So I’m excited and looking forward to experimenting in a similar way. Thanks very much for sharing. 🍂🌲🌾
Thank you for watching Stefanie! Glad you have found watercolor - it is such a magical medium to create with ✨😊 Enjoy your watercolour journey ✨

Music is wonderful
So happy to know that you enjoyed the music too 😊 Thank you for watching!
I love your style of painting these loose scenes. Can you tell me the name of the brush you’re using for the smaller pine trees. It looks stiff and easy to manage. Thank you
Thank you so much! That brush is called a Needle Point. It is actually quite soft (squirrel). You can find the details in the description of the video :)
THANK YOU!
Thank you for watching 😊

Thank you 😊 I use 300gsm 100% cotton cold press
@@AnastasiaMily Спасибо за ответ ! Очень люблю яркие пейзажи!

What kind of brush are you using for the tiny lines in the trees on the right?
It’s called a Needle Point brush, you can find the details in description
@@AnastasiaMily thank you. Where do I join to see the whole painting as a class (more information)?
@@lucyschaffer-chipman3053 I currently have three classes available as recordings via Etchr Studio, you can find the links here anastasiamily.com/watercolour-classes/
I don’t have any of my UA-cam videos as classes, sorry - these videos are simply demonstrations of my painting process…
@@AnastasiaMily thank you for your response. I’m new to watercolor but really enjoying it. Going to try this one today.
I’m sorry to keep bugging you, but I don’t have anyone to ask questions. I’m enclosing a pic of my attempt at your painting. The waterfall doesn’t even look like a waterfall. Is there anything I could do to save this painting? Thank you so much.
