@@Blade-vk4fe It is rather widely known. You can look up newspaper articles and other references from 1930's and forward. In the 50's and right up to the 70's nearly the whole department was on the take and running roughshod over the citizens...unless you were already a criminal, then they liked you. They were also running drugs at one point. There is a movie titled L.A.Confidential that is for the most part historically accurate.

Only problem was he was shot in the head at a strange angle for the wound to be self inflicted and with a Luger pistol was used. Which is not really a gun you can play Russian Roulette with. You'd need like 5 identical handguns and a pillow case to play Russian Roulette with semi auto/self loading pistols. He was also fighting with his girlfriend and she reportedly had touched/fired the handgun that killed him at some point. Apparently she may have also been upstairs with him/ in the room with him at the time of the shooting.

Do some research. It's well documented death, with lots of known circumstances, medical history, and what not - his death is clear as day - there's even great documentary, not sure one of those last 24 shows, or autopsy show, that gives incredible details about his death. Did you know he took out his glands not to sweat under arm pits? Did you know he was in hospital and barely saved from same thing he died couple of weeks later? People like to speculate but there are clear cut facts that add up together of why and how he died. Tragically but not mysteriously. Check it out.

    • @dollydagger4306

I don't know why they keep trying to make Bruce Lee's death all superstitious and darkly mystical. Lee was prone to very bad chronic headaches. One day during break filming his final movie he had one of these horrible headaches, someone on set gave him a pain killer. Lee goes to take a nap on set, and about an hour later he couldn't be woken up by the crew. He had a fatal allergic reaction to the pain killer, and his brain swelled up, all water logged. I know it's hard to believe that something so little like a pill can take down a powerful man. Sometimes the most simplistic explanation is the real one. Yes there was an official autopsy showing this.
It's not surprising that there are clashing autopsy stories from programs, movies and books.

Lets hit the main points of the Wood Mystery.
    1. Wood, Walken and Wagner, the 3 Gs, were all drinking heavily in Doug's Harbor Reef Restaurant that Saturday evening.
    2. They returned to Splendor about 9:30 pm.
    3. Wagner and Walken wanted to be alone...You figure that out.
    4. Wood had been drinking, got pissed, and decided to go back to Doug's.
    5. It was a dark and stormy night...for real.
    6. Wood untied the tender and slipped off the transom step, fell into the cold water; but couldn't pull herself up, onto the dinghy. Her heavy jacket weighing her down.
    7. The wind was a howling westerly and blew Wood and dinghy down wind toward Bird Rock and Blue Cavern Point.
    8. She was found early the next morning, next to the dinghy. Hypothermia had done its work.
    Next "mystery" pleeese.......

@Jekyll Hyde You're right about everything but the blood. There was plenty of blood to coincide with the wound inflicted. So it is clear he was killed there and not moved. The main problem is, the amount of drugs in his system would render any human being, even an addict with a high tolerance, unable to wield much less pull the trigger on a shotgun. Not to mention the handwriting inconsistencies. The case was reopened just a few years ago based on this evidence.

Ummm….the official report on Bruce Lee shows that he took Equagesic (Meprobamate) as a pain med to ease the pain in his lower back while he was filming Game Of Death in Hong Kong. He decided to try doing "good mornings" (bar on your shoulders, legs straight and you bend over and then up), but did it with 135 on the bar--the first time he tried it--and screwed up his back. Unbeknownst to him, he was allergic to Meprobamate, suffered a severe cerebral edema event while he was napping and died in his sleep. "Death By Misadventure" was the pathologist's finding (which is how the British term such things) and there is no real mystery to it....

Years before Bruce Lee appeared on "The Green Hornet" on American TV, or starred in martial arts films, he played small parts in Hong Kong films starting in the 1950s. You can see clips from these on UA-cam, and as with all such "before they were famous" performances, it's interesting and sometimes strange to think that this juvenile delinquent bad boy (which he played) would become an international star.

He didn’t get to be as successful as he could have, but Russell Edward “Rusty Day” Davidson from the Amboy Dukes and Cactus was murdered on June 3rd 1982 due to a cocaine deal gone wrong (it appeared that he either didn’t have the money or didn’t have enough money). He was at his home in Longwood, Florida when the dealer got him and his son Russell “Jocko” Davidson Jr. to their knees on the living room floor, pleading for their lives before the killer(s) shot them both. Rusty’s friend and (according to some) manager, Garth McGrae, was found in a closet himself with a gun (for protection probably) with bullet wounds in his hand and head. Rusty has two dogs named Pluto and Lefty, both of whom were also shot and killed. The only known suspect, guitarist Ron Sanders, shot himself when his house was surrounded by cops three weeks later due to different charges. Because of this, the case of Rusty’s violent demise remains open to this very day.
It’s been falsely stated that the victims were shot by a machine gun through the windows, but the actual Seminole County Chief Of Police reports of the case say otherwise. Found out by looking up the case on their official website. Rusty wa listed by his original name, Russell Davidson.
Rusty Day sang for a brief time for The Amboy Dukes, long enough to be on their 1969 “Migrations” album. He left due to him and guitarist Ted Nugent HATING eachother, and being restricted of his creative freedom because he had to sing Nugent’s lyrics instead of his own. When he left, he joined Carmine Appice, Tim Bogart, and Jim McCarty to form Cactus, which lasted from 1969 to 1970 (Rusty later started his own new Cactus lineup that lasted from 1976 to 1979). Rusty is also known for his being close friends and bandmates with future Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Steve Gaines, as well as for being sought out by both AC/DC and the Rossington-Collins Band to become their new lead singer (he declined both roles because he respected Bon Scott and Ronnie Van Zant, and didn’t think he was the right fit for standing in their shoes).
