I think the reasoning for the side mounted USB C ports is so that if you pull it towards you, and the cable gets a bit tangled or otherwise stuck, you don't disconnect your keyboard (also, it might be easier to tell where the port is, without looking behind your keyboard, or lifting it up, but I do feel that the disconnection reason is the main reason).
I am too! I had it pre-ordered and think it’s great. Best stock stabs I’ve seen in an off the shelf board. It also mods real well! I’m guessing he hasn’t reviewed it yet as he hasn’t released any videos on it. Otherwise I’m sure it would have made the list.

@@Jack-kb9mk I've been using it every single day. Best keyboard ever. Battery lasts for about 2 weeks with rgb on. Bluetooth can lose connection every two months or so but you just tap on the keyboard in the bluetooth settings and it connects in 2 seconds. The only thing I can find I don't really like about it is that it takes long time to charge (over pc usb port) but you can still use it while it charges so it's not a big deal. Overall awesome keyboard.

It looks, feels and sounds perfect for me. It has been my only keyboard and I bough it together with a Red Dragon M602 which pairs perfect and works amazing for Marvels Rivals lol.
the best feeling Redragon keyboard is Shrapnel, build like a tank, heavy like a tank, low profile with no key wobble. Two cons about it, only full size and blue switches (supposedly they have one with red switches?)
I'm late but I got the K530 because of you and I love it. As a sweaty FPS gamer the 60% form factor is great and the quality is very good for the price. Could use some better stabilizers but for the price I'm not complaining.
I am using the Non-Hotswap Redragon Kumara K552 with the red backlit, I've been using it for 3 years and I haven't experience something bad with it. The keyboard is great, very budget friendly. The only reason I bought a new one which is the RK84 (Thanks to you, your review made me bought the RK84) because I really wanted a new mechanical keyboard that I can customize after seeing a lot of videos on YT and I definitely wanted to try it but can't decide what keyboard I should get - until I discovered your channel. You really make great reviews! Now I am just waiting for my RK84 to arrive tomorrow! I chose the red switches because I am sick and tired hearing the clicky blue switches, but nonetheless, I still very love this redragon that I have.
I got a 75 dollar cad one for my new gaming comp i built. I wanted to go above and beyond, but already spent like 4 grand on the pc so i compromised. Im sooo happy i didnt over spend on the keyboard. Theyre so heavy and solid, i got a full sized one exactly like the k552 and its more than i need

I got a Vata Pro and i love it It sounds really good and the rgb lights look really cool when i turn off the lights of my room but the only thing i didn't like are the brown switches but still like it a lot

I have a K552 that came with Red Outemu Gaote switches. It isn’t a fully RGB one though, and each row is a different color. I can pick what keys I want illuminated though.
As a keyboard enthusiast, pbt keycaps aren't the answer to everything your better off getting lube and lubeing your switches, but other then that great video
I totally agree with you! The reason I gravitated so much to keycaps is that I feel most of the viewers will be newer to keyboards, and swapping some keycaps on is a little less overwhelming to newbies than lubing!

i purchased the 556 pro and can only use it wired.. when i use it with 2.4 or bluetooth it wont recognize my punches or it would doublt press or tripple press when i barely touch it. but wired it works perfectly. is this normal for this brand keyboard or did i receive a bogey? thank you

I mainly play 2 games Warzone and axie infinity And most of the time editing recorded videos of axie or warzone. Im planning to get one and im choosing between deimos and draconic. Should i go for the 2.4ghz dongle or the BT connection of the draconic? I dont care much about RGB and i will eventually change the keycaps down the road And my budget is well under $100 or even lower for both keyboard and keycaps lubes etc....
If you don't care about RGB much and you edit I would say 100% K599! K599 is a better keyboard except for the RGB. Also the 2.4ghz dongle will be faster for gaming, however, most people won't notice the difference. But yea, for editing the arrow keys are a must for me, and the stabs on the K599 are better than the k530. hope this helps!

Yep! To change different modes you hold fn and then I believe 9 key. There will be the controls in the manual when you get it showing you how to change colors and modes.
Thank you for the review. I'm currently using the k552-1 (my first mechanical KB) non hotswappale and I hate the clicky sound it makes . I'm usually browsing the net and sometime game so I'm looking to purchase another keyboard. I wanted to know out of all the red, blue, and brown which one is the quietest and if I was to swap them out what are the quietest switch that fit the KB. Great price! But to be honest, The number 1 spot kyeboard is my favorate so far. Compact, nice astetic and good build quality.

you got the blue? you can always search the net which color switches is the quietest
Reds are the quietest. If you need some tactile response, browns are a nice compromise
get a silent switch in a ciy tester (specifically haimu heartbeat linears)
What keycaps did you use for the k599 mod?
Bought K530 for like 20$ 👌 But stock switches are sooooo bad, gonna replace them soon with Akko CS Matcha Green I guess
