- I thought I would share my thoughts and how I use the Mackie SRM150. It's a nice little speaker/mixer combo that has so far proved reliable and useful.

Also I’ve used two of these for PA, but use a small mixer with it that has reverb and delay. Or I’ve plugged a guitar direct into channel one and a mic into channel two and add another SRM-150 and it spreads the sound around pretty damn Good. No effects but for small coffee house gig, perfect.
that's why you would run the mic into a reverb pedal, and then come in to the xlr in of the monitor.
I agree you could add an external effects processor to the setup. Which would probably be the ideal setup for a solo acoustic performer as it would allow greater control over effects. But I do think a basic built in reverb would be a nice addition for version 2 if they choose to update this product. Maybe even add a 1/4" input jack in the back for a foot pedal to turn the reverb on and off. I use this product for karaoke and I try to keep things as simple as possible for the people I send out to do gigs.
I have two, you can run in stereo or split signal for monitor. I’ve had my two for about 10 yrs now and just finally experienced a problem w one. The circuit board now needs replacing .
Thank you so much for this video! I am very new to this world so have alot to learn- might be stupid question hère but I am singer songwriter -looking for amp / speaker set up for small venue/ home. I have a shure mic and keyboard. This seems like a good fit but I also want to record on my MacBook - can I use this to connect to a MacBook and if. It what else would I need?
What can you suggest to use similar in size for djin?
I have just been given an old srm 150w and I'm a drummer who is singing in a full band and need it for a monitor. Will it be loud enough?
Add the 450 speaker in the back
Does it have more power than the Behringer B205?
it is good but its power is not as one wishes it sounds cristal clear but again the lack of power is a shame
