seems general consensus... we want to see more like this! I hope this process become more refined, with some sort of layer system... Blender has a simple version where two layers of animation can be blended between, either manually or automatically, and it would be nice to have a feature similar to that in cascadura... especially with how powerful auto physics and auto posing is, i feel it could VERY easily just fill in the gaps between two animations with natural motion, all we would have to wory about is timing and which bones we want affects (like only the upper body in this example)
Good tutorial for a clunky procedure. I love this software, and find it uniquely innovative and effective. So why with all of the imbedded motion sophistication must I select each and every animation controller separately in order to simply cut/paste? Like many commenters, I would like to see a layer system clean up the process.
Cool tutorial! Glad to see new ones. I came back to Cascadeur after I checked It years ago... Too bad I just realised I missed on free 2years :< (even thou i have the account) I hope I get the founds with friend but it's a lot
You guys need to come up with a one click solution to import mixamo, meshcapade, makehuman, rigify, etc. Maybe hardcode the presets? I bet most of us are indie devs and we all hate rigging.
Love your software, dislike the clunky / backwards approach to animation multi-layering. This would be solved much easier using animation layers . We also need to be able to import multiple animations directly on to the same mesh. All the multi-mesh imports (going to and from the T-pose), working with 3 different tabs at once (just to be able copy/past frames on to the same mesh) is clunky AF.
Could you make a tutorial on the female walk cycle? It's one of the hardest things to do in 'hand-drawn' animations. My biggest difficulty is understanding the 'control points', which often prevent me from exaggerating certain movements necessary for an animation, such as hip rotations (without compromising everything else). Of course, it's just inexperience, as to what to block, which point to leave free, etc.
Please add on more feature like to import footage in the perspective of camera view similar to blender, Like that we could animate fight between cgi charcter and real life actor, if we couldn't see the position of orignal footage we can't accurately animate the charcter for fighting a real life actor, so please add camera and make it import footages to animate fights and then import that camera to blender for accurate positions.😊
Yeah I agree with some of the comments, this merging function is too old school. it really needs for a layer animation system.Even Blender's own NLA animation system is 10 light years ahead of this, let alone Maya's animation system
why would you restrict exporting formats for the free version!!!??? you've dissuaded this potential customer due to your lack of consideration to anyone that isn't middle class.
One of the most great tutorial i have seen so far. keep it up that way!
yes this is the content we want to see! Please more Yes Keep it coming.
Great tutorial! But we urgently need animation layers to facilitate these animation blends and small non-destructive adjustments
thank you!
Fantastic!!!

If you have an old account, I think you could try contacting them via email.
@@WesleySales1 I'm not sure they said its till 19 may or something like that
Just do it, the worst they can do is say no but they've made exceptions. No reason to not try. @@888marcinb
great tutorial , greater software , please add layering system!!

How would you do this if the character's upper and lower body move between the two animations?
Génial ! 😍

Please add keyboard Hud to your tutorials so in any cases we can understand which key are your pressing at the specific moment.
Thank you!

+1 for anination layers please!!. I love the software but this can be done in 2 clicks in blender or max
Con lo que me gusta este software y ahora ya no puedo exportar en fbx sin que me cueste un riñón … fue bonito mientras duró
Can you rig a character with long hair and skirt? I mean, after adding the bones on Unreal, can I rig hair and clothes and animate them?
Wait cascaduer has its own software? I thought it was a plugin . I don’t know what rock I was living under but Now thats hot.✨

if you add vmc protocol it would be awesome
👍 👍 👍
Это можно было бы реализовать намного интуитивней с анимационными слоями. Надеюсь слои добавят в будущем. Многие вещи прям пипец какие замороченные.
it`s crazy... in blender it could been done in almost 2 clicks. Why have you made it so confusing?
so can I.. in Cascadeur lol The point of these tutorials is to teach how to use the tools, not to show off 🙂
Blyaaa dolgoooo

What a bullshit method
