If the child is going to college, is there an obligation to pay support for the time between high school graduation and the start of college?

I'm not a lawyer, but it's my understanding that Child support ends when a child turns 18 if they have graduated highchool. OR if a child is still in highschool and turns 19.
So if the child graduated early at 16 or 17, support would still be expected.
Not a lawyer again. Just a guy who likes reading the laws lol
