I think the road car has a ball diff but, I'm speculating. That dual engine Ofna MT is my new favorite 1/8 scale true Monster truck, period. It is also now my favorite off road Nitro RC. I can't wait to see it run. I know you don't get opportunities like this every day, however, this the kind of content I love! 😍 .
I got my old HB D8 1/8 buggy out and put an old Axial. 28 nitro big block on it and it fired right up after sitting for many years. I've been bringing out all my ole nitro trucks, buggies, and cars because I've been inspired by you, tnx.

For sure! love your vids. I don't comment on youtube very often. I thank you for keeping nitro alive. I got an exceed madstorm about 10 years ago. completely sheered the crank on the original engine not long after. replaced it with an lrp z.28r. I put a ton of hours on that thing until it sat for about 2 years. Still starts and runs like a champ every time. It's definitely an attention grabber at the rc park, because 9 times out of 10 I'm the only one running a nitro there. But there was one guy a few weeks ago with a nitro rustler and a traxxas t maxx, which had a 2 speed. While he was running it I yelled "2 SPEED BABY!" good times lol.

hey bro! Yes, I can totally believe that! Almost all f-1 style indy cars are actually trash in terms of drivability, they are too low, the tires have no grip and they are too light. I've even built similar style 1/4 scale RC go carts, also undriveable. Mostly just a novelty item at this point.
yes, it's got a diff, you saw me turn the wheels independently right?? I was assuming it could have been a direct (no-diff) drive system because years ago I used to own a 1/4 go-cart I built, and it was just a solid direct drive.

I have one. Bought new. Never seen fuel. Has PSP custom aluminum wheels. Twin superchargers. And a box full of upgrades to install. All are out of production now. One of these days I will do it up. 😎
Oh no! Not the RB innovations air filters! Ewwwww! Very cool truck I gotta say however. That spiral gear is interesting. And yep I love my ofna colts, espcially the mini version. The reason it says 3.5 is because force already made a 3.5 very widely available. They decided the 3.5 was a bit underpowered and put in a .26 piston and sleeve internals into the 3.5 crankcase, so they didn't have to make a brand new mold for a .26 crankcase.

Wish I had bought 1 but it was an ofna, lol, jokes on me cause ironically enough, I swapped a stretched chassis and big block into my 99 tmaxx 2.5 about 5 years after I bought it new, back in 99 I put an ofna hyper ,21 cause I had already blown a lot of $$ on the chassis kit, figured I could get the o.s. later. 16 years later that ofna hyper .21 still moves that tmaxx pretty well. Gallons of fuel
It’s a fuel stick/gun. And the head is low for LCG, although there is a slight aerodynamic advantage from the lcg head. The lower center gravity keeps the car from rolling, and pitching too hard in the corners. Makes it easier to drive....a lot of reasons..it’s common in 1/8 off road.

hey bro! Yes, you're right, Schumacher did make a Twin nitro from the factory, it was called the Manic. I'm not sure if it was a pre-built ARTR model or an RTR, most likely it was a 90% assembled model because that's what Schumacher mostly did back then. Anyway, it was a stadium truck so I didn't mention it for this video, but you're right! Thanks for the comment bro.

Hey bro! I just checked, and this was something I was going to cover in a future video, about the way the motors are connected to the spur gear. They both turn the same direction, its basically two clutch bells connected to a single central 2-speed system, quite a nice and straight forward setup really.

YEEEA I got a hpi savage XXL and mad the ties poof so far i got a after market engine and an extra hpi savage engine and was thinking of adding the other but i want to make it where i have a really bottom high set top gear for one engine and when i winds down i want the other to pick up and carry a really high bottom end gear just and idea

hey buddy! Glad you liked that comparison, I left all my REVOs out for that scene, but they are basically like the T-maxx 3.3. I will say the twin titan is super tall, and I had the body on a relatively low setting btw. In the second part video I will do some weight comparisons and also point out way more interesting and some BOGUS details. I'm sure you will be entertained, cause I know I am, lol. Wait until you see the receiver box design, you will be highly surprised.

If you noticed it had a diff laying on top, that's because it's recently had the diff replaced, just like every ARRMA, lol. Go figure!! Anyway, I can't belive you have the 5SC Flux, those are super rare and pricey, VERY NICE!! you the man!! BTW, I'm currently thinking about buying the nitro version of my own HPI, what do you think?? it's a good deal right now and in stock, comes with the savage 4.6 motor for around 430 bucks Brand new.

You got the ofna titan twin. Yes I’ve been talking about it for 18 years in 2003 I remember I was gonna get that along time ago and the color is blue and yellow with flames on it. My favorite truck and it’s fast too 80hp. Get 2 LRP 28 it will go faster

The flat cooling head on the F1 type car may have also been for lower center of gravity like the O.S. 12LD (lay down). I built a twin Kyosho Giga Crusher and it was a kit, not an upgrade to a single engine model.

Lots of twin nitro motor trucks existed btw, although many were conversions you had to buy separately, but this was a true factory RTR model, which is quite rare. Imagine starting and tuning one engine at a time, lol. Super gas guzzler too, ahaha.

There is something cool about nitro engines, as it’s not always about going crazy fast. Granted my XLX2/2028 motor can sustain 10hp and peak at 18hp on my 1/5 buggy, it doesn’t have the soul or character as a nitro engine sound and smoke.
Hey Man! Got one of those .26 engines that I picked up long ago on eBay and been keeping an eye on replacement parts. Do they still offer piston and sleeve replacement for it. If someone knows please comments. Go nitro 🏁🇨🇱👍
I think they are Force engines by design but also sold as Ofna through Habao(my spelling might be wrong?)in the vintage parts section of there web page.
You can get them re-pinched by one of the engine modders, costs around $25. That would return your compression back to normal as long as the engine is in good shape.
Good response, you're right. These are just basic FORCE engines, I would say any modern HaBao similar spec parts would fit. But it's a stretch, considering this way a .26 size motor, not a common engine size these days.

hey brother! LOL. Considering I drive a PRIUS, you have a very good point right there, lol. But to be honest with you these types of truck are mostly Shelf Queens, they see very little run time. Which explains why this one is like new, you know. I'm paying 97 bucks for 12 quarts (3 gallons) of nitro fuel, so I can spare a quart for a few runs, hahaha. 👍🏻

hey bro! Yes, I can totally believe that! Almost all f-1 style indy cars are actually trash in terms of drivability, they are too low, the tires have no grip and they are too light. I've even built similar style 1/4 scale RC go carts, also undriveable. Mostly just a novelty item at this point.

yes, it's got a diff, you saw me turn the wheels independently right?? I was assuming it could have been a direct (no-diff) drive system because years ago I used to own a 1/4 go-cart I built, and it was just a solid direct drive.

The reason it says 3.5 is because force already made a 3.5 very widely available. They decided the 3.5 was a bit underpowered and put in a .26 piston and sleeve internals into the 3.5 crankcase, so they didn't have to make a brand new mold for a .26 crankcase.

Twin titan. Wish I had bought 1 but it was an ofna, lol, jokes on me cause ironically enough, I swapped a stretched chassis and big block into my 99 tmaxx 2.5 about 5 years after I bought it new, back in 99
I put an ofna hyper ,21 cause I had already blown a lot of $$ on the chassis kit, figured I could get the o.s. later.
16 years later that ofna hyper .21 still moves that tmaxx pretty well.
Gallons of fuel
It’s a fuel stick/gun. And the head is low for LCG, although there is a slight aerodynamic advantage from the lcg head. The lower center gravity keeps the car from rolling, and pitching too hard in the corners. Makes it easier to drive....a lot of reasons..it’s common in 1/8 off road.

hey bro! Yes, you're right, Schumacher did make a Twin nitro from the factory, it was called the Manic. I'm not sure if it was a pre-built ARTR model or an RTR, most likely it was a 90% assembled model because that's what Schumacher mostly did back then. Anyway, it was a stadium truck so I didn't mention it for this video, but you're right! Thanks for the comment bro.

Hey bro! I just checked, and this was something I was going to cover in a future video, about the way the motors are connected to the spur gear. They both turn the same direction, its basically two clutch bells connected to a single central 2-speed system, quite a nice and straight forward setup really.

I will say the twin titan is super tall, and I had the body on a relatively low setting btw. In the second part video I will do some weight comparisons and also point out way more interesting and some BOGUS details. I'm sure you will be entertained, cause I know I am, lol. Wait until you see the receiver box design, you will be highly surprised.

If you noticed it had a diff laying on top, that's because it's recently had the diff replaced, just like every ARRMA, lol. Go figure!! Anyway, I can't belive you have the 5SC Flux, those are super rare and pricey, VERY NICE!! you the man!! BTW, I'm currently thinking about buying the nitro version of my own HPI, what do you think?? it's a good deal right now and in stock, comes with the savage 4.6 motor for around 430 bucks Brand new.

You got the ofna titan twin. Yes I’ve been talking about it for 18 years in 2003 I remember I was gonna get that along time ago and the color is blue and yellow with flames on it. My favorite truck and it’s fast too 80hp. Get 2 LRP 28 it will go faster

The flat cooling head on the F1 type car may have also been for lower center of gravity like the O.S. 12LD (lay down). I built a twin Kyosho Giga Crusher and it was a kit, not an upgrade to a single engine model.

hey brother! Oh yes, back n these days the Nitro Game was 100% crazy hardcore. Lots of twin nitro motor trucks existed btw, although many were conversions you had to buy separately, but this was a true factory RTR model, which is quite rare. Imagine starting and tuning one engine at a time, lol. Super gas guzzler too, ahaha.
I built a twin engine 1/8 scale buggy years ago. Obviously it wasn't for racing, but it was pretty crazy for bashing around with.
Its a real gem of a nitro.

There is something cool about nitro engines, as it’s not always about going crazy fast. Granted my XLX2/2028 motor can sustain 10hp and peak at 18hp on my 1/5 buggy, it doesn’t have the soul or character as a nitro engine sound and smoke.

Hey Man! Got one of those .26 engines that I picked up long ago on eBay and been keeping an eye on replacement parts. Do they still offer piston and sleeve replacement for it. If someone knows please comments. Go nitro 🏁🇨🇱👍
I think they are Force engines by design but also sold as Ofna through Habao(my spelling might be wrong?)in the vintage parts section of there web page.
You can get them re-pinched by one of the engine modders, costs around $25. That would return your compression back to normal as long as the engine is in good shape.
Good response, you're right. These are just basic FORCE engines, I would say any modern HaBao similar spec parts would fit. But it's a stretch, considering this way a .26 size motor, not a common engine size these days.

hey brother! LOL. Considering I drive a PRIUS, you have a very good point right there, lol. But to be honest with you these types of truck are mostly Shelf Queens, they see very little run time. Which explains why this one is like new, you know. I'm paying 97 bucks for 12 quarts (3 gallons) of nitro fuel, so I can spare a quart for a few runs, hahaha. 👍🏻
