There is one thing I've learnt about Christ in the few years I've begun following Him. Immediately you decide to do so, he immediately gives you his blessings, wisdom and grace. The process of Christianity is learning how to actively use these things He has given you abundantly. You are a Child of God, no sin can stop that. Always remember you already have it. May God bless you. Amen 🙏
Amen New International Version - John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last-and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”
Exactamundo. Additionally, the process of Christianity isn't just learning how to actively use these Christlike traits on your own. The process is letting the Holy Spirit develop and nurture these gifts daily, making you more like Jesus with each passing day. We'd progress so much faster in our walk if we lean into the One who's been sent to teach us all things (John 14:6, 1 Cor 12:8-10)
I told God this so many times like how crazy it is that he is NEVER insecure or anxious not even one second. For someone like me who was born socially anxious this is incomprehensible. He’s just the safest haven there is.
I have been struggling so much with showing kindness to others when they aren’t kind to me and doing things that I don’t like. This is what I needed to hear.
As someone who has had the same problem, something that has helped me is asking God to help me love people the way He loves them. The way to do that is to love people how God loves you. Think of his mercies and grace. Treat others how Jesus treats you, it will be hard to say no to your flesh, but with God, we can overcome💖💖
Can you pray for me as I'm at a new job and getting used to it and have a lot of anxiety, also I'm going to a secular college sadly so prayers for me that I can stand up for the truth and nothing they teach me goes against my beliefs. Thank you!
I know the feeling, I'm about to start my new job. Also I just graduated from a secular university and I did feel so alone because most if not everyone in my class were unbelievers. I did by the grace of God get to witness to one of them, but for the most part I kept my head down. But I knew I shouldn't fear man more than God. And if they teach you something against your beliefs take a breath and pray. Ask God for discernment in the situation and trust He will get you through it and guide you. A good promise to think about as you are tempted to be fearful or comprise is Jer. 32:40-41 "I will make them an everlasting covenant that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me." I will pray for you, I hope your journey is God filled!
So true!! When you start thinking of others more, you realize how much your mind was taken up by insecurities and overthinking. I pray that God helps us to put others before ourselves.
It’s okay! We all have moments and God understands that. Just don’t allow those moments to dictate your overall faith. He’s got you-I swear. I’ve struggled with anxiety for some time as well! I've dealt with anxiety in many forms and so when God told me to focus on Him, I stopped thinking about myself. Anxiety and many other issues like this can make us very selfish, but when we focus on God we are truly happier and willing to do what God says. It's awesome.
So true!! It can make us spiral into selfishness. My struggle is definitely thinking about myself too much, thinking about others and evaluate what happened in a social interaction. Sometimes I obsess about how others are better than me, sometimes the other way around. It’s self obsession.
this couldn’t have been more timely, just bumped into someone I haven’t seen in ages and social anxiety kicked in. I was thinking “man I have social anxiety” and thinking of how I’d need God’s help for reaching out to this person to catch up, and then this video pops up on my feed 😳
Go through my day like Mr. Rogers, got it! 😄 This was a great and timely word. I was burdened bc my family constantly scrutinizes everything I do and it makes me feel like a failure, like I’ll never be good enough and I feel judged and unsupported. But God is saying I’m doing a great job. I’m focused on serving others and following God. My life is not about meeting their objectives, only Christ’s and this gives me so much more freedom to have joy and be patient with myself.

Jesus may have had social anxiety BUT he still thought about others and talked with the crowds. It's ok to have social anxiety, but it's what we do when the anxiety hits is important I think. It's ok to be shaking and yet still talk to someone. I don't understand how you can post a video saying he "never had social anxiety". In reality you have no idea. I'm sure he felt nervous many times. Think about in the garden when he was full of fear and sweating blood.
GOD, I'm tired. But its not the type of tired that a nap or a good sleep can fix. Its so hard to sleep when my thoughts never sleep. Im so sorry, I understand how such inner turmoil is paralyzing. One verse that helps me is Phil. 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." I know its super hard to just stop being anxious but still ask God to give you the grace to let go and let God fill you with His joy. And in the verse I mentioned with thanksgiving, we tend to undermine the power of a thankful praising heart to God. It opens us up to receive Him more because think about the Holy Spirit, He desires to give glory to God and one amazing way to do that is by giving Him praise ! Be blessed my friend trust in God, anxiety is a sin, but God will help you, you need not worry.
Repent of your sins and believe on Adonai Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that He has died for sins and rose from the tomb on the third day and let the Holy Spirit within you, and you shall be saved. - Jesus the Christ loves you, praise YHWH our Elohim - Evidence for Jesus Christ’s existence, crucifixion, and disappearance from the tomb (He rose from it): The Lord Jesus Christ did exist, gathered disciples, and was crucified and went missing from the tomb. To argue about wether He was taken from the grave or rose from it, is an argument a skeptic can make. Because well if you disregard the eye witness testimony of the disciples and there willingness to die for Christ, and humans won’t die for something they know is a lie, when Peter is pinned upside down to that cross, he could have said that it was a fake, but He didn’t because it wasn’t, what care would he have about death in this world if he knew for a fact he had assurance of a life in another, Jesus Christ did rise from the tomb and is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Now the evidence for the Lord Jesus Christ’s existence really isn’t hard to find a multitude of non-Christian scholars and historians mention Him within 150 years after the time of His life. One such is Tacitus a Roman historian who reported on emperor nero’s decision to blame the Christians for the fire that had destroyed rome in 64 AD. Tacitus wrote: “Nero fastened the guilt ... on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of ... Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome…” In this Tacitus makes reference to not only Christians, but Christ calling Him Christus and confirming the Gospels going on to say that He suffered the extreme penalty (crucifixion) under the reign of Tiberius and by the sentence of Pontius Pilate, which like I said confirms the Gospels narrative. Another important source of evidence about Jesus and early Christianity can be found in the letters of Pliny the Younger to Emperor Trajan. Pliny was the Roman governor of Bithynia in Asia Minor. In one of his letters, dated around A.D. 112, he asks Trajan's advice about the appropriate way to conduct legal proceedings against those accused of being Christians. Pliny says that he needed to consult the emperor about this issue because a great multitude of every age, class, and sex stood accused of Christianity. At one point in his letter, Pliny relates some of the information he has learned about these Christians: “They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food - but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.” This passage provides a number of interesting insights into the beliefs and practices of early Christians. First, we see that Christians regularly met on a certain fixed day for worship. Second, their worship was directed to Christ, demonstrating that they firmly believed in His divinity. Furthermore, one scholar interprets Pliny's statement that hymns were sung to Christ, "as to a god", as a reference to the rather distinctive fact that, "unlike other gods who were worshipped, Christ was a person who had lived on earth." If this interpretation is correct, Pliny understood that Christians were worshipping an actual historical person as God! Of course, this agrees perfectly with the New Testament doctrine that Jesus was both God and man. You may have heard of the scholar Flavius Josephus who mentioned James as being the brother of the Lord Jesus Christ, which matches what Paul said calling James “The Lord’s brother” and there is another document that Josephus may have written which goes: “About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he ... wrought surprising feats.... He was the Christ. When Pilate ...condemned him to be crucified, those who had . . . come to love him did not give up their affection for him. On the third day he appeared ... restored to life.... And the tribe of Christians ... has ... not disappeared.” Now it’s up to debate wether this is the entirely original document of what Josephus wrote, or if a Christian had edited it. But regardless he wrote about the Lord Jesus Christ. Wether it was negative or positive like the possible document is. Anyways there are many other statements, documents, letters, and writings of all sorts from the ancient world talking about the Lord Jesus Christ and there is not one question if He was a real person or if He was crucified and went missing from the grave. That is clear as day, He is a real person, was crucified, and went missing from the grave. And He did rise from the grave. And for more evidence of the Lord Jesus Christ, there’s the Bible and you see there is no evidence the Bible is corrupted, a lie, created by the Roman government, folktale. It is the recount of the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, now wether you want to believe it is up to you. And what profit was there in spreading Christianity, All the early Christian suffered persecution, beatings, and were killed. Another Scholar reported that James the Lord’s Brother was thrown off a building and then stoned to death for spreading the Gospel in Jerusalem. These people went to great lengths even giving their own lives for the Adon Jesus the Christ.
could you please talk about what a household should look like with men and women? people think women should always cook, clean, and be the loving one and the men just go to work, come home, get spoon fed, and complain. what is it really supposed to look like? a godly family.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 *King James Version*)
"Jesus never had social anxiety" The Bible says the otherwise: ""44 In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him."" Social anxiety is not shyness issues. Social anxiety is being in toxic ambient with mobbing and narcissistic abuse- 1) Shyness - it is feeling social threat feelings at some social event, but social fear wear off quickly and shy person is not bothered by it again 2) Social anxiety - it is feeling of social threat before the event, during event and after event. Fears do not wear off and you keep ruminating about it. This is due to trauma, condition called CPTSD and it is not hallucination neither delusion nor illusion. 3) Social anxiety disorder - it is feeling of social threat at safe events, when you know that person around you will not harm you. For example in safe, empty room, and you are with Oprah or Mandela or Mother Theresa or Gandhi - the safest person you can ever imagine - but you still feel threat that they might harm you. This condition is part of Paranoid Delusional Disorder, and only 1% of population has it. 4) Narcissistic disorder - it is feeling of social threat triggered when someone warns and alarms you for being intrusive. Due to confirmation bias you are not realizing that you are rude and arrogant and intrusive - so you conclude that you feel social anxiety due to unknown reason from random people. 5) Autistic disorder - you live in your world and you are not aware that you appear threatening to people, for example you do not say Hi to them or smile back to them. So you feel social anxiety because you feel tense and awkward in social situations and you have no idea why. 6) Performance anxiety - when you feel social fears when performing in public CBT lumps all these as hallucination in order to make it easier. However oversimplifications leads to distortions. So CBT is using cognitive distortion - over-generalization paradoxically to explain social anxiety as cognitive distortion. There is Jane Elliott's Blue Eyes, Brown Eyes experiment, exercise - that showed that social settings can influence the targets. There is Narcissistic abuse: Long-Term Narcissistic Abuse Can Cause Brain Damage. There is Stanford prison experiment where it is shown that targets of abuse in toxic ambient where they cannot escape from will develop extreme social anxiety. There is Skinner's box and Little Albert experiment which shows that people can be conditioned and initiated into social anxiety.
Thats true for a lot of us our families put that social anxiety on us for making us worry about ourselves too much. My mom cared so much about her imagine because of how she was treated growing up she made me so insecure by calling me fat all the time etc etc so i was always worrying abiut how i looked gave me so much anxiety eceb after i lost weight lol but praise god he frees up from those voices. I didnt need to lose weight i had to lose that spirit if fear

The Lord Jesus Christ did exist, gathered disciples, and was crucified and went missing from the tomb. Tacitus wrote:
“Nero fastened the guilt ... on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of ... Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome…”
In this Tacitus makes reference to not only Christians, but Christ calling Him Christus and confirming the Gospels going on to say that He suffered the extreme penalty (crucifixion) under the reign of Tiberius and by the sentence of Pontius Pilate, which like I said confirms the Gospels narrative.
At one point in his letter, Pliny relates some of the information he has learned about these Christians:
“They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food - but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.”
This passage provides a number of interesting insights into the beliefs and practices of early Christians.
You may have heard of the scholar Flavius Josephus who mentioned James as being the brother of the Lord Jesus Christ, which matches what Paul said calling James “The Lord’s brother” and there is another document that Josephus may have written which goes:
“About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he ... wrought surprising feats.... He was the Christ. When Pilate ...condemned him to be crucified, those who had . . . come to love him did not give up their affection for him. On the third day he appeared ... restored to life.... And the tribe of Christians ... has ... not disappeared.”
Now it’s up to debate wether this is the entirely original document of what Josephus wrote, or if a Christian had edited it.
Amen!! Gods speaking through u!
18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
Amen
Good advice, God bless you guys 🙏🏽
Social anxiety disorder is horrible focus on god and word of god
It would be nice to have Alex do more mental health videos like intrusive thoughts and like how some of us battle not only the world and the enemy but ourselves like it can be hard you know
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 *King James Version*)
Amen having a kind joy filled attitude will completely crush all social anxiety
This is so true and helpful, I'm speaking from experience. Thank you.
Whenever I have fear or social anxiety I noticed it’s because I’m too focused on myself rather than allowing God’s love to work through me to others
🙏

Be Willing & Be Grateful For Everything You Have Always!

"Jesus never had social anxiety"
The Bible says the otherwise:
""44 In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.""
Social anxiety is not shyness issues.
Social anxiety is being in toxic ambient with mobbing and narcissistic abuse-
1) Shyness - it is feeling social threat feelings at some social event, but social fear wear off quickly and shy person is not bothered by it again
2) Social anxiety - it is feeling of social threat before the event, during event and after event.
6) Performance anxiety - when you feel social fears when performing in public
CBT lumps all these as hallucination in order to make it easier.
I have social anxiety so this hurts a lot...but I know it to be true and godly.
JESUS LOVES YOU SO MUCH MORE THEN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE give your life to JESUS BEFOR ITS TO LATE AND LOVE FOR HIM NOT FOR THE WORLD
Proverbs 3:27
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
This man obviously does not have clinical social anxiety.
It is debilitating.
Bruh social anxiety isn’t self centered it’s self conscious
Colossians 3:2 “Set your minds on things above not on earthly thing”
