But here's the thing. The DNC and The Hillary campaign lost a vast amount of support by conspiring to cripple Sanders' campaign. They enacted voter supression, rigged the timing of debates, closed polling booths, struck people off voting rolls, and slandered Bernie supporters as sexist, racist and antisemitic extremists. You can't treat two fifths of your base like dirt and expect them to turn out and vote for you.
