Nice job. I am thinking about brining some prior, go low and slow and then crisp them up in the pizza oven. This is great for a quick cook during the week though.
Sounds good! I have a couple others coming out. I love me some wings. You probably want 6-10 mins in the oven for crispness so you know. Depends on temp of course. Thanks for watching! 🍻

I just received mine today well built like you would expect from Yoder. My question for you and maybe I missed this in another vide, is that the plate should be slide over until it reaches the hopper wall. Is there a reason why your not pushing it until the plate meets the wall. Does it get to hot
Hrmm I may have misread the instructions. I thought the lip was there for alignment. It’s only an inch or so difference. I’ll try pushing it in. I didn’t do it for a specific reason. Thanks for sharing that. 🍻
@@RumandCook I believe it will also save pellets, I ran it for almost two hours and only went through 1/4 of a bag
Yeah I did 3 or 4 cooks per bag. Lots of wasted time moving around cameras so I think you can def get a bunch of cooks out it per bag.

Hey Jake. Have you used the Kirkland pellets from Costco? If so, what’s your opinion? They’re priced well, but wondering how the quality is.
I have not, but since Traeger sells there all the time I would bet they are theirs. I could be wrong though. If my theory is correct then I wouldn’t recommend them. Sorry I don’t have a better answer. 🍻

I tried the Kirkland brand out and I would rate them better than average. Costco also sells Bear Mountain and honestly, they seem the same to me except that the Kirkland pellets are larger. They cooked the same and give good smoke flavor. I can say they definitely aren’t Traeger made as there were some significant differences based on my experience. I think I’ll stick with Bear Mountain but will consider Kirkland if I’m unable to find them, which has been a common occurrence. Cheers!
