- So, last week, Matt Damon was interviewed by an Irish radio station, where he described Dalkey, a small town in south Dublin, where he is currently isolating, as one of the most beautiful places he has ever been. We are lucky to have Dalkey within our 5km lockdown limit, so we decided to take a trip down, to show you what it is really like there. We also got lost there too, even though we grew up right beside it....

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that is affecting the world, we are in lockdown here in Ireland. Meaning we can only go out in certain circumstances. Of course this has put a hold on all of our adventures, so we have decided to make a few videos showing you all what we are getting up to, to pass time over the next few weeks.
We really hope everyone is keeping safe, and hopefully we will see the end of the Coronavirus soon!!

It's been our absolute favorite town living in Dublin. Vico baths, Sorrento park, the island and what not. A must visit for everyone traveling to Ireland. ❣

My family lived in Dalkey 1972 - 1976 before it became expensive 😬. Fond memories of messing about with bikes and playing up on Killiney Hill with other kids ❤️

Never been to Dalkey but I've often heard its the nicest part of Dublin! Next time I'm up there I might try to convince my friends to visit haha
Thanks for the comment Graham. Its such a lovely place to visit on a nice day. Would definitely recommend a train trip out! So much to do and see, what we have in the video isnt even half of it but we didn't want to stay out too long given the current circumstances. 🙈!
@@BordersAndBeyond Maybe you can film out there a bit more when things are better. I've always thought there's a lack of videos on youtube about other parts of Dublin to discover. So it would be great to see :)

Awhh thanks so much, Leeroy. Glad you enjoyed it! Theres much more to do in Dalkey than we covered, but we will definitely be going back !! The beard is gone unfortunately. He shaved it for charity! But it will be making a return next month 💛
The Vico Road is the south side of Dalkey with a beautiful view of killiney Bay know to locals as the Irish Bay of Naples hence the Whole area of that part of Dalkey has Italian names ie Vico Road....... Nerano Road ......Sorrento Road . its a pity you didn't show that in your Video ... I was born and reared in Dalkey .... a beautiful Town . Where Dublin Bay 💋 kisses Killiney Bay .. creating the shape of a gigantic letter W.❤😊
