@@JustMe-gs9xi No it wasnt't muslim vs christian situation. I have friends, orthodox christians and catholics whose fathers fought for Bosnia. What happened was that Yugoslavia was a too strong socialist country, which frightened the capitalist west. So when Tito died, the west took the opportunity to spark the hundreds of years old flame and convince the people here that they actually don't want to live together. So Yugoslovenian countries one by one started going their own way, and Serbia, with Belgrade as the capital of Yugoslavia, didn't want to let go, but they mostly didn't want to let go of Bosnia. They asked people in Bosnia to not separate to stay in Yugoslavia with Serbia and Montenegro, but Bosnia declined so Serbia attacked and tried forcefully to make us stay. So happy that Matt Damon makes us remember the people of Sarajevo during the war. I lived there for a while about 20 years ago and it left me with eternal love for that city and its citizens.
I have never been there. Doubt I have ever met anyone from there, but it broke my heart to see a sister city of the Olympic movement reduced to rubble like that
I met Matt and his family twice when he was in Dublin during lockdown. He is the most normal down to earth and genuinely nice movie start you could wish to meet.
yep! wished had made some kind of joke about Jimmy KImmel not interviewing He saying some thing like "Hey Jimmy see? I Am a Star and Am being Interview by a better Late Night Host!...Beatch!"... haha
There is no other Jason Bourne than Matt Damon. Period. He’s one of my favorite actors. So humble, down to earth, and never full of himself from what I’ve seen. Hope he keeps making exciting and entertaining movies.
All jokes, and crushing aside, I greatly believe that Matt Damon has put himself in the space where he can do the greatest good for what he believes. He clearly has a wonderful support system, not the least of which would be his wife and family; his dedication to clean water and dignity of others surpasses most, and sometimes reminds me that I get to be proud to be human. Thank you Stephen; It’s good to see good people interact with other good people. We need this, this year.
Totally. Add to that list Rashida Jones, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Smith, Mila Kunis, and no doubt many more. It's great to have wholesome icons spreading humanity
