    Carlos is a fantastic traditional flash painter. I'm happy to see he's a decent person as well. He seems super humble.

    As long as you get the painting technique down you can make the shittiest drawing days look good, less is always more too

    I think you nailed it with learning the basics first, tracing old flash so you have some idea of how traditional tattoos first then your shit will come. you can't sit down and just try to be original then hope it comes.

    Greetings.....great channel...good attitude and responsibility for your profession....a great set up for doing flash and learning tattoo art form is copic multi liner's for outlines and copic or prisma color marker's used on top of 100lb hammer mill paper.....easy to see through on a light box. Hammer mill paper is a good value.... Copics are expensive but the refills are very cheap....I find this process mimics tattooing very well... Thanks alot for the vids again.....

    Hi guys. Good talk. When I draw for myself without client in mind then magic is happening. Draw whatever I want and how I want and I know that client wont get it done because Ireland is not used to new school, biomech and all sort of crazy shit.

      I think he was trying to think of the FW Acryllic paints, as they're the most known

    What drawing utensil' s do you use? Watercolor?

    • @TattooShopTalk
      @TattooShopTalk  5 років тому

      For watercolors it was Ecoline and Dr. Ph. Martens. Then whatever black color ranging from Indian Ink or sometimes even dynamic ink. Best paper from local art shop and markers of preference and brushes from random shops (not the cheapest)

      Incidentally, I started learning Russian on Duolingo and read/watched some UA-cam stuff about Lativa and Riga and a little piece about language in the school system out there. Nice to have my mind off Americana for a bit. Your 2018 episodes about styles were very good. Gotta love that Tattoo Shop Talk.
