C1/107/Aygo applying sill protection

In today’s video, I have decided to protect the sills from future corrosion by applying a layer of stone chip protection. I wanted to protect the sills and also to add a gloss black stripe to the outside of the car to go with the gloss red & black theme I’ve got going on with Project C1. I’ve seen a lot of negative comments on social media about this and I get it, but at the same time, it’s a precursor to more cosmetic modifications that’ll make the black sills look good.
I’ve used a regular stone chip and some 2k gloss black and clear coat in order to make it fit in with the theme of the car. I have also got plenty of stone chip paint left over, so at some point in the future, I’ll be applying it to the inside of the wheel arches… just not today lol

I have thought about doing that to my 2020 C1 but I would carry it on up and around the wheel arches. Many SUV's do that with plastic panels and looks pretty good so why not do it with truck bed liner like you did so water (corrosion) can't get in underneath?

I intend on doing the inner wheel arches, now that I have bigger alloy wheels on, it’ll prevent rubbing. I also want to roll the arches too, so I’ll be doing something with the paint work after that.

They do a C1 'Urban Ride edition' that comes from the factory with plastic wheel arch flares
